Great way to see the Cape   2 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2019
It was good being in the same hotel for the tour and just travelling each day to a different spot on the Cape. Close up to the humpback whales was an amazing experience.
Cape Cod And Islands 2 , WA, Australia, Sep 2017
Thoroughly enjoyed this 8 day tour. Tom and Mark worked hard to make this a smooth and interesting trip, especially the need to use ferries a few times. Waiting in line can be busy and tiresome but we always managed to stay as a group. Would have liked a bit more time in Newport, perhaps making it a 9 day tour? Overall experience with Globus very satisfactory.
It was great to travel with Globus 2 , Australia, Sep 2013
It was great to be able to travel with Globus. The company seems to organise things very well. I value all my opportunities to travel.
Farewell dinner disappointing due to seating 5 , Australia, Jun 2013
Positives: We really enjoyed the fact that tickets, tours, ferries, buses, luggage, etc were taken care of for us and even better, we still had some afternoons and evenings where we were free to do our own thing. We like to do a bit of exploring on our own, but don't like the hassle of organizing all the mundane stuff. There was no place below to rate read more the coach driver, so I just want to say that Michael was wonderful. Funny, helpful, courteous - just a great guy! Negatives: At the Lobster and Seafood Bake Dinner and the Farewell dinner our tour group was seated at tables of two or four people in the main part of the restaurant which really didn't seem like a group dinner at all. This was especially noticeable at the farewell where we were unable to make toasts or give little presentations or speeches etc. Maybe next time hold farewell dinner in a function room? Also, the walk on guide in Boston mumbled and was hard to understand.
Excellent tour 3 , Australia, Jun 2013
Tour itself was excellent...only let down was the Boston hotel. The room was noisy and old, and the bathroom was so small you had to climb over the toilet to get into the shower. There were loose fittings in the bathroom including the power point (which was dangerous). The air conditioning didn't work and they messed up the breakfast vouchers so we read more were only allowed a continental breakfast on the first day. This was rectified for the subsequent days when the tour director arrived and Globus did reimburse us for this. The other hotels were good. The only other negative was that too much time was wasted waiting around for ferries. Globus should probably find better ways to utilize this time!
