What our clients are saying about their journeys through Canada & Alaska
Costsaver changes a bit disappointing Panoramic Canadian RockiesMark and Janis, NSW, Australia, May 2026
We liked the more flexible nature of the Costsaver tour with options to join additional activities or arrange our own time. A couple of the hotels were disappointing and although not an inclusion many of the guests would have liked the hotel to be close enough to facilities to provide for breakfast. In Vancouver Island the hotel provided a breakfast read more room but we were not allowed to enter even to purchase a snack. Moving the hotel to Canmore when we were told we would stay in Banff was very disappointing we wouldn't have chosen this tour had we known at the time of booking. Bus and tour guide were very good. The new app for booking additional activities was always showing full when it wasnt. Needs work to be more dynamic.
We have completed this part of our ambitious 3 month holiday. We were very happy with Traceys handling of our booking and getting our documents released early before we left australia. We are now looking forward to our next Insight tour of Iceland commencing next week!
I would definitely book a Travelmarvel tour again. Everything was so organised and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The whole trip was fantastic. Tracey at Global Journeys did a great job booking my trip. I would definitely book through Global Journeys again.
Tracey from Global Journeys did an excellent job in finding the Cosmos tour of Canada. The Cosmos guide Jennifer was local, passionate and a wealth of knowledge. We travelled to all the must see in Canada with a few extra stops on the way only a local would know. Travel group was great a good mix of people all there for the same reason. Would definitely read more recommend Global Journeys for travel needs and Cosmos for Canada travel.
This trip was fantastic and Hilary , our tour director, was so knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble! The itinerary was great and most of the accommodation was a good standard! We would definitely travel with Cosmos again!
This was our 8th Cosmos trip and would have to say it was up there with the best, from our tour guide Jason (Cap as affectionately known) and driver Andrew to the overall tour itself. It was an amazing time of the year to go, departing on the 6th October as we got to experience the magnificent change in colours of the trees, from green to red, orange read more and yellow The locations were great, the hotels excellent and all inclusions and optional extras made the most of our time. The local guides used by Cosmos for places like New York, Boston, and Quebec were incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with a heads up to the cities we were visiting.
Along with beautiful scenery, this tour provided time in modern cities and history locations. Due to the Government lockdown during our stay, we were unable to visit the Smithsonian museums in DC, however Cosmos stepped up and organised tickets for our group to visit he National Holocaust Museum, and the following day, extended our time at Arlington, taking the trolley bus further into the cemetery and watching the changing of the guards, which occurs, every hour of the day, 365 days a year and an honor have the time to witness this. Cosmos do it so well, with excellent value for money, professional staff and well thought out itineraries, its hard to consider other options. And as always, Tracy Standing managed our booking flawlessly and made the experience easy.
