Our Trafalgar tour was very well organised and the accommodation was of a high standard. Enjoyed the whole trip, especially Norway. The only other comment I have is the tour should be a 12 day tour and not 14 days as the first and last days are only airport transfers.
The tour guide (Konrad) was very knowledgeable and handled everything in a professional manner. Bus driver was was also excellent. All aspects of the tour were enjoyable and I participated in nearly every optional part of the tour. I had to organise and book my holiday from another country and Georgie provided me with prompt and useful information. read more Everything went smoothly and this is a credit to her. I would recommend using Global Journeys and Trafalgar to anyone as I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday and would happily organise my next journey through them.
It gave me a taste of Italy in my designated time frame 1

My tour guide was excellent. He shared his knowledge of historical Italian religion and politics as well as the best tourist spots including shopping spots and shopping hints. He has a great personality and had us laughing all the way around Italy. The tour was perfect for me, it gave me a taste of Italy in my designated time frame. I loved the sites read more I saw and took up most of the optional tours which I thought were well priced. Our tour guide told us along the way to not go home with any regrets - I listened to him and will cherish the items I brought home that will remind me of a wonderful trip for the rest of my life!

The tour with Trafalgar was excellent. It was very well organized with all aspects working smoothly with no hitches. The tour guide was a true professional with a great personality which was most appropriate for the group. The Scenic Parks tour gave us a good understanding of the National Parks of the USA with magnificent scenery with several unannounced read more features adding to our enjoyment. The ease of the online booking and communications with Global Journeys was notable demonstrating that Internet booking of tours is the way of the future. My tour guide was so knowledgeable and helpful that it made the whole experience totally amazing! Even the 2 coach drivers we had were utter gentleman and also very knowledgeable. The places we visited were spectacular and anything we wanted to know, the tour guide didn't all he could to help us. I have now been on 2 Trafalgar tours and recommend them read more to anyone I know that is looking at travelling. Highlight of my trip for sure!

Our first ever land tour. We have been on many cruises, but unfortunately could not see Switzerland on a ship. This tour gave us a fantastic snapshot of Switzerland and we could not have seen so many cities and places of interest in any other way with the time we had. It was extremely well organised, perhaps a little fast paced for us, not as much time read more to relax, but in saying that, without committing more time and more $$ we expected it to be like it was. Our guide was very disciplined and extremely knowledgeable, and we met many nice people on the tour, a number of whom we are still in contact.

Well organised. Brilliant tour director Brad Allemand, able to modify the programme in tricky situations to meet people's needs. Coach was roomy and comfortable and drivers excellent. The hotels were top quality with excellent breakfasts. We saw so many countries in such a short time that it gave us ideas for our next trip and we already know which read more countries we'd like to revisit. Our group of people bonded so well- lots of Kiwis and Aussies that this made the trip enjoyable. Yes there were very early mornings to travel or do a guided tour, but Brad knew how to miss the crowds and other tour buses wanting to visit the same place. The organisers planned the programme strategically. Having lots of 1 night stops on first half of trip when you are fresh and then 2 night stops for the second half when people were starting to fell tired. A very good tour. Covered everything i wanted to see and more. The bus was very comfortable with plenty of leg room. Not too many people, so everything moved smoothly. Tony our tour guide had a great knowledge of every area, and our local guides were excellent. The only thing that could have been improved is the hotel in Madrid and the hotel in Valencia. read more Hardly any air conditioning in Husa Reina and it was very hot but it's position was excellent. I did 8 optional excursions that were all very worthwhile.

We had a wonderful time on our holiday. The tour was excellent and the tour director, Toni, was very very good at his job and made our Spain and Portugal experience that much better! Peter and I have travelled with Insight before and were not disappointed. We only had 20 on the tour which made it even better. It turns out one of our travelling companions read more Ashne booked her tour through you too. We fully intend to book our next holiday with Global Journeys and would recommend you to our other friends. Thank you again for making it all go so smoothly.

The service from Georgie at Global Journeys was first class and your advice to use the fast Thalys train from Brussels to Amsterdam's Schipol airport was exactly right. The tour was quite good; we were aware in advance that Trafalgar is not a top end tour operator so we did not set our expectations too high. The places visited were all excellent; apart read more from Amsterdam 42 years ago we had never visited any of them; always nice to visit new places. Ananda the tour director was only average but this did not worry us; she made an over the top call for generous tips! All the hotels were really good, although the one in Luxembourg was undergoing renovations and was some distance from the city. In summary quite a good tour and a suitable itinerary but suggest make your clients aware that it's not top of the range, but the price is reasonable and good value for what we received. There were 43 in the bus versus a capacity of 56 so it did not feel crowded. The comparison between Ananda and the excellent tour director on the preceding Scenic river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam, had made us realise what a high standard director can achieve. Hope this helps.
Yesterday I returned to Australia. The tour Best of Italy was magnificent with a wonderful guide. I also took another Trafalgar tour whilst in UK namely Best of Devon & Cornwall. As you are aware it was mostly wet and humid in the UK with major flooding. Of the 6 weeks away I spent two weeks in London, the first week I was there for the Queens Jubilee read more celebrations and I was on one of the boats on the River Thames!
I thought the trip was marvellous 1

The trip was really good and made especially so by he fact that our group was decidedly younger than usual. Some of the hotels were better than others which was to be expected. It was 45 degrees along the southern Mediterranean section of the trip and several hotels offered poor levels of air conditioning in these conditions which was difficult. Also, read more the Insight 'trip advice' information sheet suggests that we don't drink tap water in Turkey. All the hotels offered water only at meal times, and in such heat, at meal times only was not sufficient. Otherwise, I thought the trip was marvellous. Thank you for your excellent organisation of my Trafalgar tour last July. The weather was not the best for the whole trip (which is to be expected). Bergen in (unusual) brilliant sunshine for 2 days was lovely though. Trafalgar tour not rated excellent because of some issues with non-smoking rooms not being really non-smoking. Asked to move rooms once read more due to additional lack of security (outside door to room not lockable) in addition to smoking. Scandinavia has a long way to go to catch up to no smoking conscious-Australia. Coach driver was brilliant. Tour director managed 41 timing-wise well but not always with a good sense of humour. I liked the 'choice' aspect of Trafalgar side-tours and did most of these when they were scheduled out of the cities we visited. Best side trips were Troll's Road and the Norwegian family experience.
Good value for money and as I don't do surveys, obviously the whole experience with you has been rewarding. Thanks.

Georgie Walpole, my consultant was amazing in all my communications - prompt, honest, upfront and courteous. Could not have asked for more. Travel Director, Jeff Allen of Trafalgar Tours was very knowledgeable, meticulous, friendly with a very good sense of humour. Made sure everyone on the tour knew the next day's schedule and made sure to count the read more number of people to ensure 'no one missing without info' before the coach left for another destination. The accommodation was 1st class however a bit away from city centre. But this is to keep the costs down. And also where is the time & energy left to enjoy CBD proximity? I will recommend Global Journeys to all of my friends. This is a mob one can rely on for quality at an affordable cost.
