Really organised, had a great driver and tour leader and my fellow travellers were great. Saw some absolutely beautiful areas and sights. Dined both on the street and restaurant style. Was really looking forward to Portugal and this tour didn't disappoint.
Can not rate this tour highly enough! Excellent tour guide from day 1. As a solo traveler I never felt left out. Globus has a true gem with Vasiliki. Everything was well organised and coordinated. She explained what was going to happen with each transfer, optional tour and made sure the group was a group. There days in each of Santorini and Mykonos read more gave you time to either explore on your own or do the optional tours.
Included dinner meals were lovely and the places we stayed outstanding in my opinion. Santorini hotel was very close to Thira so you could wonder around the streets and explore. Mykonos hotel while not near town had a regular public bus. The views were spectacular from both hotels. Athens hotel Crowne plaza while not close to main tourists districts but was accessible either by public transportation or taxi. Highly recommend this tour for solo travelers and couples and could of easily stayed an extra night in each of the islands.

Small group tour through England, Wales and Scotland. It was awesome! Great bunch of people just wanting to have a good time. Most hotels are located in the city centre however some need a revamp. Highlight for me was Scotland, I am already planning my return. Kinky Boots on my last night was the perfect way to end the tour. Highly recommended.

A great way to see the Baltic States. 4

We have always wanted to travel the Baltic states and whilst a coach tour was not our preferred option we are really happy that we were able to get on this tour which we joined in Warsaw on 27 August. As it turned out, this particular tour was one that was sold to the American market so we had a coach full of Americans and Canadians which was a great read more experience for us.
The pace of the tour with mostly two night stops was just right as it gave us plenty of time to wander around the beautiful cities of Warsaw, Vilnius and Riga. We would have like another day in Tallinn and we added an extra night in Helsinki. The optional tours were good and we particularly enjoyed the optional Polish dinner with live entertainment. Overall a great well balanced tour, great tour guide, comfortable bus and very comfortable hotel accommodation. Will definitely tour again with Globus. As with all our other bookings with Global Journeys, Yvonne did a sterling job.

Highlights of Britain & Ireland

September was a great time of year to be in the UK - the weather was settled and not too hot. The trip itinerary was perfect for the amount of time we had and getting to see the highlights of each location. We also thoroughly enjoyed the down-time to explore by ourselves. The tour guide, Marge, and coach driver (Mairyon) were so thoughtful and upbeat. read more They really were the icing on the cake!
Great Tour Guide and Driver who both went out of their way to make the tour for all 24 on the trip the most enjoyable and informative with many opportunities provided to make this trip excellent in all regards.

Spirit of the Rockies with Rocky Mountaineer and Alaska Cruise

What a great part of the world to visit . Our whole trip was great. The Rocky Mountaineer was absolutely first class as we're all meals and accommodation. Coach trip was broken up with regular stops at beautiful scenic stops. And getting to stay at the top Fairmont hotels including Banff Springs and Lake Louise were definitely highlights. As if seeing read more the beauty of the Rockies wasn't enough we then sailed to Alaska on the Volendam. Again accommodation, meals and sight seeing were first class. We thank Jemma on all the planning on our behalf and everything went off with military precision. Overall it really was a once in a life experience and one we will remember for ever.
Our Scandinavian adventure travelling with Globus was wonderful with plenty of variety. We ventured as far as the North Cape and through the Artic Circle. Norway was one spectacular scene after another. Hotels were good and centrally located. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the countries visited and very personable. Overall a great read more experience and I would have no hesitation travelling with Globus on our next trip.
An on the go journey via coach, ferries, trains and plane. A fabulous way to see a large country. Beautiful cities, spectacular countryside, history, fjords, remote locations, nature, local food delicacies and fun, like-minded travelling companions. Well organised, seamless flow.
On this coach tour with Globus we only had 20 people. Had a great time. Zurich to Geneva is completely different from Geneva to Zurich. I actually went to see the later scenery and the Alps and I was not disappointed. Magic! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. Passengers were great and Valeria (tour director) was a wealth of knowledge. She was read more on the ball and went our of her way to make sure everyone was catered for . We had an excellent driver. Itinerary faultless.
We took this Globus tour hoping to see the beautiful Oregon coast everyone raves about. Unfortunately the weather made that almost impossible. August may not be the best time to do the tour due to sea fog. The tour was fine otherwise, great time in the redwoods. Nice mix between big cities and smaller places. Happier with this Globus tour than the read more last one we did some years ago, but would have loved more time on the coast (had we been able to see it if we stopped). Global Journeys handled everything for us and would be happy to use them again on future trips.

As per previous 6 tours with Globus & Cosmos another great holiday. Hotels were superb, always in middle of town, guide Bob was great and Henry the coach driver was a true gentlemen which made the trip so so nice. Could not say anything wrong about this tour!!!!! Thanks Michelle and Madeline.

Tour Director good - allowed own time. Excellent driver. In future we would prefer a smaller group, age 60 and under and more active tours. We will explore your options for our future annual holidays with other providers that can meet the above.

Magnificent scenery, excellent service, very good accommodation, a tour director, Tarek Sabet, who was caring, organized friendly and informative, together with his friend Peter the coach driver, made for a memorable tour around the Canadian Rockies. On board Ship, was much the same, excellent service, fine food ,very good accommodation and the scenery read more unforgettable. Touring companions were also very good, got along well with each other. Very good value for money, would recommend the tour for an unforgettable experience.
This was nothing but fantastic. We were blessed with the most amazing tour director, who was overflowing with knowledge of Greece. She had a fantastic sense of humour and made our trip, that much better than I think it could have been. Our bus driver was fantastic also and always drove very well and safely. Each place that we visited on this trip was read more great and all of our accommodations were extremely good too.
I highly recommend this trip if you are wanting to see the highlights of Greece, as there was nothing to fault, from each stop, to quality of hotels, food, excursions and pace. Hannah from Global Journeys made our booking easy and nothing was a problem in helping us. Thanks so much Hannah.

A Taste of Ireland and Scotland

It was a great tour, very long days and tiring with some early get ups. Shorter days and a bit more free time could help so that people don't get as tired. The cost of laundry at the hotels is too expensive, it would have worked out cheaper to but new underwear, etc, than have them sent out to the laundry, not that we had enough time at most places read more to have it done. Hotel launderette facilities would help. The coaches used could have more space between the seats to make it more comfortable for tall passengers, which a few of us on this tour were.
Wonderful holiday! All the hard work is done - Just sit back & enjoy! 5

We loved everything about this trip! The hotels, the food, the itinerary! Firstly, Katharina, our wonderful caring tour guide - this lady deserves a medal, lol. Throughout this tour, she managed to chase up lost passports, mislaid belongings, organise hospital care for one of the ladies on the tour, while still managing to provide us with a wonderful read more memorable holiday. The other members of the tour ( 24 Americans, 2 Aussies (us) & a family from the Dominican Republic) were great. We started as strangers & finished as family. It's hard to pick a highlight from the optional extras however if I had to pick one it's the clog train up to Mount Pilates! Spectacular!
This is a fantastic tour to an extraordinarily, magnificent part of the world. All aspects of the tour were well organised. The Tour leader was enthusiastic, organised and informative which made for a seamless experience for us. We would thoroughly recommend this tour. Put in on your bucket list, sooner rather than later!

We can highly recommend booking a Globus tour through Global Journeys. Hannah, our travel agent, kept us up to date with our booking details and replied quickly to all our questions. Our tour went without a hitch - Matthew our tour guide and Alastair the driver were fabulous, friendly and funny. The commentary was very interesting with lots of humour. read more We made many new friends and the whole group was friendly.
Spectacular scenery, great excursions, despite some early starts it was well worth it because we would arrive before places got extra crowded, and in some places it had been arranged that we could enter before opening time - a real bonus in peak holiday season. The itinerary was great with a good variety of castles, scenery, highlands and islands. We would have no hesitation in recommending both Global Journeys and Globus Tours.
