Enchanting Canyonlands with Globus 0 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2024
The scenery was sectacular and our guide was erudite, informative and catered to our interests. The itinerary was well organised, accommodation in varied and interesting locations, very good standard. An excellent trip I would highly recommend to travellers wanting to learn about how nature sculpts our landscape and how fauna, flora and people adapt. ...read more I would recommend Globus consider alternate accomodation in Las Vegas, Treasure Island is rather tired.
Wonderful scenery   2 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2019
Great holiday, we enjoyed the whole trip and were amazed by the wonderful scenery. The bus trip was set at a good pace with plenty of thought by the Tour Director. His planning and knowledge was superb. Accommodation was good to excellent. We hopefully will be planning another Globus Tour, using Global Journeys to book with, as Jodie Wallis was very ...read more helpful in the planning of the trip.
Fabulous tour through the enchanting canyonlands   2 , QLD, Australia, May 2019
Hassle free booking through Global Journeys and a fabulous Globus tour. Although 45 on the tour (Americans, couple of Australians and New Zealanders) everyone was friendly and on time for all departures. Al was a knowledgeable and very capable tour guide, organising the needs of guests within the itinerary. The canyons visited were a good mix of scenery. ...read more Antelope Slot Canyon particularly amazing. We were told this was not a guaranteed optional tour and organised independently which caused us some transport hassles.
Globus Enchanting Canyonlands   5 , VIC, Australia, May 2018
This was our third tour with Globus/Cosmos and was easily the best. The tour guide (Andrew Moran) was exceptional, very knowledgeable, great personality, very approachable and helpful, even with some ideas for our ongoing self drive. The coach was only a few weeks old and the driver (Courtenay) was very good, courteous and helpful and always presented ...read more the coach next day clean, she was very dedicated and safe.

The other people on the tour (a mix of Australians and Americans) were around our age and fun to be with, good humored, readily talkative and always ready to help people who were not so capable - importantly they were always on time too! The tour itself was amazing, photos just don't do these places justice, every stop was jaw-droppingly wow! Hotels were good generally but let down by the staff. There seemed to be a general lack of trained people everywhere and those that were didn't seem to be interested or helpful..
This trip was beyond expectations 13 , Australia, Sep 2012
It was our first coach trip of this kind and we weren't sure how we would find it. Our Tour Guide was exceptional and really made the trip. Passengers always knew what was ahead and likely temperature for clothing as this varied a lot. Passengers always knew exactly where to meet as a drive by was often done to emphasize this which meant that group ...read more was always at the appointed time and place. The coach driver was also excellent. Our Tour Guide coped well with the varied age and ability of passengers and allowed plenty of time for all to get the most out of a destination. We were very keen to do plenty of hiking and we certainly got plenty of opportunity. Older passengers were also given options, and perhaps had to do a little waiting for walkers, but always in beautiful places with facilities. An optional trip of a helicopter ride which ran late, did make other passengers wait about 20-30 mins at one point. Another optional tour ran slightly late and the Tour Director reorganised things very well to suit us all.

Accommodation was also excellent and several way above expectation. With the exception of Treasure Island Resort at LV where the treatment of staff at times wasn't that great - just such a big hotel and not value for money here at all. At Treasure Island check in queues on arrival took about an hour. However check in's later were all arranged brilliantly by our Tour Guide. Elsewhere accommodation was definitely excellent value for money especially Red Cliffs Lodge at Moab and Best Western at Zion, where staff and amenities were brilliant. All bookings worked well, with 2 minor points. The transfer we paid for and prebooked on arrival at LV, had a voucher that didn't say the name of transfer company and it took a bit of convincing that they should take us to the hotel - but they did in the end. And we didn't receive name tags in our package of vouchers as most other passengers did and it would have been nice to have these. However these were minor points and I would recommend this trip as a wonderful and brilliantly organised holiday and if Globus has such well arranged tours to other places would definitely go on another again. The Tour Guide played a very big part in this.
