We thoroughly enjoyed this tour which exceeded our expectations. The sights were truly amazing. Our tour director Fernando Casariego was exceptionally experienced, well organised and helpful at all times. The hotels were of very good standard and well located. Our fellow travellers were mainly from USA. Optional tours were very good. Undurraga Winery read more optional tour was complementary. The tour concluded at Hangaroa Eco Village, Easter Island however on arrival back to Santiago we were met by Globus representative and transferred to Sheraton hotel free of charge. Many thanks to Hannah Campbell from Global Journeys. The tour is highly recommended.
Machu Picchu was always on our “bucket list” and it did not disappoint. What a WOW. The Globus trip started in Lima with the usual main historic city highlights being visited, followed by dinner with our new travel buddies. Next morning we were on a flight to Cusco where our experience with the ancient Inca culture started. The tour guide was excellent read more and most of the included excursions were very good. Accommodation was excellent and the food enjoyable.
After a night in the Sacred Valley, we had two days and one night in Machu Picchu. A highlight for us was going independently back to Machu Picchu on the second day at 7am. The scenery was spectacular and with the intermittent cloud cover it was quite mystical. We then had two nights in Cusco before finishing off back in Lima. The local guide was also very good but he tended to overdo the story telling on the Incas stone work and religious history. Overall it was a great trip that will be remembered forever. The accommodation throughout was excellent with spacious twin rooms. Breakfasts in all of the hotels was of a good standard. The coach provided was very comfortable and the driver was pleasant and skilled. Out tour director was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very enthusiastic in showing us his country. We all learnt a great deal from the read more tour director ( Rui ) as he was able to answer any queries and questions put to him. He was at all times jovial, gracious and inclusive with all passengers.
Schedules were all adhered to and the days itinerary was presented and explained to us prior to departure or on the bus as we left for the day. Rui was very concerned with client comfort and went out of his way to point out amenities required along the route and offered a variety of suggestions for our free time. The local city guides were also pleasant and knowledgeable and provided us with plenty of local information, history and anecdotes.

We were very lucky to have a wonderful tour guide, Sheryl Evans. She was very enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable, having lived and studied in the countries we visited.Our driver was another star being very careful and able to get the bus to do amazing things in very tight spaces. Hotels were very good except for the Mercure in Salzburg which was read more definitely not up to Globus standards. After receiving complaints from tour members and Sheryl, Globus compensated us by giving a free excursion.
The highlights for me were waking up in Zermatt and looking through my bedroom window to see the first snowfall of the season and the Matterhorn. What a sight! I also loved a visit to a Swiss farm where we had a fabulous dinner and just as we arrived a little calf was born. We were able to see its first steps. On the whole a most delightful trip.

One of the most memorable tours in our life time. The game drives and sunset watching cruise were the highlights of the tour. It's a humbling experience to see wild animals in their natural habitats. and, we could not ask for a more spectacular view than watching the sunset on the Zambezi river. It was priceless. Our tour guide Linda was very knowledgeable read more and well organised. She ensured we had a wonderful time, safe and the tour, particularly with the border security, ran smoothly. The hotels, including the service and inclusive meals, were excellent. We loved every bit of it. Many thanks to Global Journeys and specially Georgie, who ensured the tour arrangements went smoothly. We will definitely recommend the tour and Global Journeys to our friends and family.

This tour in early October was well organised and highly enjoyable. The group was an excellent size - 28. It didn't matter that I knew no-one on it. All got on very well. Accommodation I found was comfortable, the bus transport excellent and comfortable, short enjoyable cruise.

Tour was great, easy paced. included meals exceptional as were majority of optional meals, Hotels were first rate, clean and comfortable, in central locations. Transfer arranged were on time and professional. Definitely choose a Globus trip again. Wonderful sights and scenery. Booking was managed well with Jemma at Global journeys
Amazing trip and thanks to Hannah who made it all possible. Hannah was very helpful and always got back to me if I had a query. Thank you Hannah. The sites we visited were beautiful and well selected. It was a memorable experience that will be with me for ever. The accommodation at some hotels could have been better. Simple things like a kettle to make read more a cup of tea/coffee and some hotels did not have a tissue box.
Thoroughly enjoyed this 8 day tour. Tom and Mark worked hard to make this a smooth and interesting trip, especially the need to use ferries a few times. Waiting in line can be busy and tiresome but we always managed to stay as a group. Would have liked a bit more time in Newport, perhaps making it a 9 day tour? Overall experience with Globus very satisfactory.
This 8 day trip was one of the best coach tours we have ever been on. It was excellently paced with plenty down time. Our guide Sven and driver Ray were excellent and very knowledgeable about each place we went to. The scenery throughout was absolutely spectacular. We thought the two days we had in the Grand Canyon would be the highlight of the trip read more for us, but it turned out that each day brought more and more delights our way.
Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Antelope Slot Canyon provided beauty of a different dynamic. Each were wonderful in their own special way. If you love nature, you will be blown away by this tour. Eight days of magnificence. Best value trip ever.

We would definitely use Global Journeys again and will next time we travel. Hannah our travel agent was wonderful and always ready to answer our questions. Every day on our bus trip through the East Coast of America was an exciting adventure and we also enjoyed meeting new friends. The bus was comfortable and we always felt safe. The extra nights in read more New York are a must and we’re pleased we had an extra 6 nights. Quebec was a highlight of the trip with the old buildings that take you back in time.
I thought this would be an interesting trip but for anyone interested in history it really was. Seeing the worst of the Nazi regime at Auschwitz was horrifying but seeing how the countries we visited had improved their lifestyle since the fall of communism was encouraging. The constant changing of currencies was something to be prepared for. Hotels read more on the whole were very good and the food enabled us to try the local dishes. I did quite a few of the excursions and particularly liked the salt mine a and the gypsy music on our Budapest dinner. Our tour guide was, unfortunately not the best. He seemed to be quite uninterested in giving a lot of information and when we were off the bus we hardly saw him?
This was a great tour. Booking through Global Journeys was stress free and capably handled by Jemma. She provided very good service and answered my questions promptly. The tour itself was very well organized. A well-oiled machine comes to mind. Suitable for all levels of physical capability. Sit back and enjoy the scenery or go off for a hike, read more whatever pleases you. Appropriate rest days between the more active days. Our tour guide Phil was excellent and passionate about what we were seeing. A bucket list item with a big tick. You must go there....it's unbelievable!!!!!!
The itinerary was great, the pace of the tour suited us, the optional extras delivered what was promised. Our only disappointment was in some of the included meals. In particular the welcome meal. The breakfast area of the hotel was not a great space for meeting people and small tables of 4 do not encourage mixing. I dislike buffet meals for many reasons read more but given this meal was our introduction to Spain I felt it should have included food that highlighted Spanish cuisine. For example a sweet and sour concoction seemed out of place. I would suggest that for future tours buffet dinners are avoided because they brought out the worst manners in some people. We knew who would be first to the buffet every time and often found them going back for seconds when we and other had not had our firsts. We know that Globus cannot dictate people's manners but meals served to table avoids this.

We were a bit disappointed with the beginning of the train trip. We had expected refurbished carriages. But the ones we got were very basic. We did enjoy the trip once the train got to Jasper and we travelled by coach through the rest of Canada. The trip to Alaska was wonderful. The ship was all we expected if not more. Would recommend the trip from read more Jasper to Vancouver Island to Alaska and back.
Very happy with our Tour guide - Tal Segal. Driver also, coach and constant water supply in the heat. Hotels and food very good. Was indeed a good tour of The Holy Land. Felt very safe during our time there and loved Jerusalem.
Global was not prompt with information. Received my paperwork 10 days before departure to find 'shoulders may offend" read more and later from another source ' knees may offend'. Very late to have to go out and find 'sleeves' before departure. Feeling the heat, I do not own sleeves. This information should have been given with deposit - not on top of departure. No service from Global at all. Not one phone call whatsoever.

Thanks to Georgie and Global Journeys for organizing this wonderful trip. Well paced trip with plenty of things to see and do. Tour guide Clive and bus driver Dave where a great help and full of interesting information and tips right through the tour. Highlights included shows in Dublin and Edinburgh and the hotel Pullman in Paris next to the Eiffel Tower.

We had an amazing time. Unfortunately it was during the forest fire and Vancouver was a bit smokey, but enjoyable all the same. The hotels were all lovely and there was a good mix of people on the coach tour and the cruise is not to be missed. Amazing staff, amazing sights and just couldn’t fault it, definitely a must for the bucket list. Leanne at read more Global Journeys was excellent to deal with and nothing was a problem for her to deal with and any questions were answered quickly. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Booking with Global Journeys was an excellent experience. Yvonne was very helpful very professional but very friendly she makes it very easy for us and she took care of all the details and kept us informed at all times we will always go back to Global Journeys and Yvonne for our future holidays.
The trip was very nice and the coach was very comfortable, read more Beverly, our tour director was very nice and did a great job, and our driver, Guy was amazing and an excellent driver.
The itinerary had lots of free-time which we really liked, some accommodations were excellent [Westin in Toronto, Lord Elgin in Ottawa and Delta in Montreal ] and some were average [Doubletree in Niagara Falls, Delta Quebec] but overall the trip was enjoyable and you get what you paid for. The trip was a good value for the money. There were not enough excursions offered by Globus and the included features were not enough.
in Toronto the Lunch at the Tower was excellent but the driving around was boring no stops just drive through we would love if we had couple of stops especially at the Chateau in Toronto to takes photos. Niagara falls was excellent but the 3 hours free time we had was too long we would rather have spent it at Niagara on the Lake, the general consensus on the bus was to have more time at Niagara on the lakes it was a very beautiful small town with lots of small shops, Restaurants and character.
Ottawa and Quebec were the highlight of this trip they are beautiful cities with lots to offer we loved Ottawa fruit and vegetable Market and the dinner at le Moulin de Saint Laurent was a great dinning experience, the food was excellent and the Merlot was very good.
The Montmorency Falls were amazing, the Notre Dame Basilica was excellent a must see. Overall it was a very enjoyable trip and we would recommend Globus for people who wants to do tours with lots of free time and less excursions.

This is an excellent way to see Portugal. The Tour Guide was very informative, if anything he spoke a little too much. The accommodation was very good some of the hotels were 5 star, not expected for the price of the tour.
