Excellent guide Sybille and bus driver Garod. Accommodation was excellent. Pace was perfect. All the people were great to travel with and no one was late getting back on the coach after we stopped for photo opportunities or toilet breaks (even though there was a toilet available on the coach, we still had plenty of breaks). Staff at the hotel accommodation read more were excellent and helpful. Some of the hotels had DIY laundry which was helpful so you do not have to pack as many clothes. The cruise ship also had a package to get your laundry done. The cost for us was USA$49.00 for unlimited washing as long as you can put it in a small blue washing bag that they supplied one of, and we just asked our room steward for more which was not a problem. There was no DIY facility on the ship for laundry.
When there was a meal supplied the food was excellent. The only negative was the staff on the train. The dining staff were excellent from Toronto to Edmonton but the new dining staff from Edmonton to Vancouver were rude, especially the man who was in charge of the dining car. On the cruise ship the only downer was the overcharging of the helicopter tour in Skagway. Got charged extra USA$130.00 for being 2kg overweight with most of my extra layers on due to the fact you are going on a freezing glacier so had to rug up. Then they tried to charge me twice for that tour, which was prepaid before I left Australia. (Globus has no control over the cruise, my negative about the cruise is aimed at Holland America). Over all had an excellent time with my fellow travellers on this holiday.
We had a great time on this tour that we booked through Yvonne at Global Journeys. We had a wonderful experience without any hiccups, from the time we arrived in Vancouver and met up with our beautiful tour director Serena and our fellow travelers who were a fun group. To cover all our stops the pace was fast with early morning starts. All accommodation read more was excellent, with The Banff Springs Fairmont a standout. Loved our ride on the Ice Explorer on Athabaskan Glacier and we were lucky enough to have snow. Our Holland America Line cruise was a great way to relax at the end of our tour taking in the beauty of Alaska.
Amazing breathtaking scenery 15

The trip was well organised. Our tour manager Signe is superb. Wish to have one extra day in Copenhagen as we basically did not have any time to explore the city. Luckily we arrived 2 days early to explore Stockholm and stayed an extra 2 days in Helsinki exploring these two cities. Driving from North of Finland to Helsinki for 3 days was boring and read more wish the tour flying us back to Helsinki and cut the driving time to 2 days. Overall it was a good tour.
This was our second Globus tour and again it didn’t disappoint. We would use Globus again. One of the optionals was disappointing. Over 20 days it would be nice to have at least one more two night stop. Most of the accommodation was satisfactory.
An excellent coach tour run by Globus. We managed to see the best of England, Ireland and Scotland in 25 days. Our Tour Director Ann Marie was very knowledgeable and we found the history she told us very interesting and our Driver Carmaney was an extremely skillful driver who maneuvered our coach expertly down some very narrow winding roads. The quality read more of the accommodation overall was very good with only the hotel in Inverness due to a lack of staff below standard. We would recommend Global Journeys and Globus to anyone who is considering visiting England and Ireland.
We both loved Iceland. It had so much to offer and the accommodation was excellent. There is so much diversity in this small country and so much to see, certainly one to add to any bucket list.
Stressless Tour throughout Warsaw and Baltic Islands 5
Lena, WA, Australia, Aug 2018
Before arriving to my first destination I was unsure and stressed out about everything such as the tour guides, the hotel rooms etc. Yet, most of all, whether there will be someone waiting for us at the airport. Upon being introduced to our tour director at the airport, we felt at ease knowing that Globus is truly professional. We were briefed and given read more a run down on a daily basis like what to expect on that particular day and the next day. Our tour director and the local guides were exceptionally knowledgeable with local history and was easy to understand. Overall we were blessed that we took this tour which was well planned and we found that every destination was god-smacked gorgeous. We would like to thank Juliet Scott of Global Journeys for making this memorable trip possible.
This was a convenient way to see many highlights of Iceland. Stress free with no driving to do and no worries about booking accommodation and tours. Some days were very long with too much time at rest stops and insufficient time before dinner but overall we enjoyed the tour and travelled through some stunning scenery.
My sister and I had a wonderful time. The tour director, Serena Campbell was helpful, knowledgeable and well organised. We thoroughly enjoyed the company of all the people on our tour and have made a lots of friends. We loved the accommodation at all the Fairmont hotels. The fine dining dinner inclusions were amazing at Lake Louise and Jasper. We plan read more to visit East Canada in the near future.
The only negative was the hotel in Victoria (Inn at Laurel Point) which was below standard, the room was dated and cabinet door was broken. The photo on the hotel website is misleading as the hotel definitely does not look like what is shown on their website. I believed we were put in the old wing where the accommodation is comparable to a 2 to 3 stars motel. One of the couples paid extra $90 per night to stay in the new wing.
Jemma from Global Journeys was very helpful with my booking and was prompt to respond to queries. I would recommend Global Journeys and Globus to my friends and I hope Globus will seriously consider and listen to the feedback regarding Inn at Laurel Point.
We had a wonderful time on the spirt to the Rockies staying in fantastic accommodation. The guide was a local and full of interesting knowledge.

My husband and I had a fantastic time on this tour. Would highly recommend it, we found it well paced, the group on the tour were a great bunch. Our guide Colleen was amazing. She went way beyond looking after us, thoroughly professional but extremely fun to be around. Colleen was a wealth of knowledge and very informative. Our accommodation was great, read more rooms were neat and tidy the meals included were all really good. This is a great tour that Globus have. Must also say a big thank you to Juliet from Global Journeys for helping me with the booking of the tour. After my million and one questions that I asked Juliet she was always straight onto answering my emails and always extremely pleasant on the phone. She was such a tremendous help.
Great holiday, really enjoyed Spain, Portugal and Morocco. My wife and I had a great time. The hotels were great (except Morocco!). The included tours were great along with optional tours and dinners.
Great tour which delivered exactly what we wanted. The memories will last for a long time. The visit to Normandy was a real eye opener for us. Mont St Michael was amazing, as was the Loire Valley Chateaux.
Everything about this tour was fantastic. Accommodation at the Fairmonts was first class
Our tour guide Anette was exceptional, with her knowledge and attention to detail. My two days on the Rocky Mountaineer train was an incredible experience with extremely professional staff. And of course all the places we went to with such incredible scenery made read more this such a special trip. I would also say that it was very good value for money considering the accommodation and the places visited.
A well organised worry free holiday which included many coach stops and included excursions to enjoy the highlights of this very picturesque area. Good hotel accommodation, central and clean. Had a good age mix of travelers who got on well. Would definitely recommend Global Journeys and use them again.
This was an exceptional holiday, broken into two parts. First we toured through the Grandeur of the Canadian Rockies, spectacular and beautiful could barely describe it. Canada opened it's soul to us and we delighted in her form. Our guide was a witty and intelligent gentleman whose enthusiasm for his country and its history he graciously imparted on read more to each of us. We had an extraordinary group who melded harmoniously, forming some lifelong friendships from our twelve days together. The hotels were first rate, our coach and driver guided us through the Canadian countryside and cities with expert ease. The chosen restaurants for group evening dinners were top quality and the food was exceptional. Our Hotel check-in process was streamlined so well it all went off without a glitch. Full marks to Globus and the organization working in the background.
For those of us traveling on to the Cruise liner, the transfer process was well managed. This being the next part of our adventure, we were not to be disappointed. The ship was fantastic, the service was always excellent, the selection of food was first rate, the rooms were very comfortable. Everyone on the ship was very friendly, helpful and polite. The decor was just exceptional, being a smaller vessel we never felt overcrowded with about 1200 to 1400 on board.
The Cruise was something special to behold, we were subject to some of the most beautiful scenery and waterways that took our breath away. Along the way, we were always allowed sufficient time to explore some of the quaint towns and embark on extra activities to suit all tastes. The evening entertainment was varied, hilarious with added intimacy to embrace all comers.
Overall it was a fantastic twenty-day tour that left wanting to stay a bit longer.
The tour was varied and interesting. We enjoyed the different excursions and modes of travel. One thing that was disappointing was the Swiss dinner, we were jammed in like sardines. It was a very good tour.
My husband and I travelled on the Globus 25 day tour of Britain and Ireland in Depth in July/August this year. We saw lots of wonderful places over the journey and enjoyed it all immensely. The scenery was picturesque particularly in Ireland and Scotland and I loved the Highlands in Scotland. We were lucky enough to be in Edinburgh for the Military read more Tattoo which a was a marvellous experience and well worth going to. The tour was well organised and our Tour Director Jeff and Driver Kevin were amazing. The crowd on our coach were all friendly and we all got along very well, they were always punctual and hopefully we can catch up with some of them again.
The tour was full on and unfortunately we didn't stop for long in many places to have a bit of a relax. The weather in some parts was wet and we missed seeing much of the Ring of Kerry as it was wet and misty that day but overall the weather was not too bad and didn't stop us from sightseeing. I would recommend Globus as a tour company, they were very well organised and I liked the itinerary more than some of the others offered. The hotels we stayed in were all pretty good, some better than others but that was to be expected. We had no complaints with any of them. My only suggestion is that it would be nice if more hotels offered a more reasonable laundry service or a guest laundry on site as travelling for that amount of time, washing becomes a bit of an issue. In Killarney the hotel offered to wash a bag of clothes for 20 Euros which most people on the coach used and found it very helpful.
We didn't do many of the optional excursions but the ones we did were really enjoyable. I really liked the extra tour of Liverpool which I found very interesting. Overall we both had a great time on our tour and would recommend it to anyone. Madeline at Global Journeys did a wonderful job of booking our travel for us and would happily book with them again.
Very well organised and meticulously managed tour. Tour director Jim and driver Anson were a great time.
If you want to see a lot in a short amount of time, this is the tour. Spend a lot of time on the coach, leave at 8am and get to hotels around 5-4.30. Many meals provided. Welsh night and Ceremony of the Haggis was great. Other optional tours OK. Hotels good though we were given bathrooms better suited to those on the tour with reduced mobility who had read more an ordinary bathroom with shower over a bath. The only down side was insufficient time st Edinburgh castle. Need to go back independently. Booking with Global Journeys and Jemma was trouble free.
