As it was our first BIG overseas holiday we were a little anxious as to how things would go, but it all went so well. From the beginning our online connection with Global Journeys was always "open" and friendly to reassure us that everything was in order! We were given the opportunity to sightsee some amazing places and have met many new friends. Definitely recommend Globus and their staff for an amazing holiday.

Revisited many places we visited 40 and 14 years before. Enjoyed Rome though the crowds were pretty intense, loved revisiting San Gimignano and visiting our fave gelato shop. Florence was wonderful and enjoyed the walking tour and quick entry to see David again. We have kept away from coach tours for many years and this was just an add on following another expedition that finished in Canada. This Globus tour was very good value for money and that is all travelers want. The tour director was outstanding and all the local guides were very good. Pace was fast as is to be expected on this type of tour there is no way to avoid it. Hotels were good; most were without views and the room at the Lord Elgin was a broom cupboard although you would not fit in more than one broom.

I chose this tour as the dates worked around my availability and as a solo traveller it is sometimes just easier to do a tour. It ticked all the boxes for the major sites in this region for me and gave me a good overview of the area. The group probably took a while to come together as the first group dinner wasn't until day 3 if you took the optional, or day 4 for an included dinner.

There were a couple of really long driving days with not much going on, but I guess you just have to cope with that, as each and every destination was great once you reached it. I took all of the optional excursions and most were worth it with the exception of the cruise in Quebec City. Hotels were all very centrally located and allowed you to explore on your own for longer when you had free time and walk back to the hotel with ease.

I am pleased that I booked the tour with Yvonne from Global Journeys as she made the whole process so easy and ensured that I had all documents that I needed throughout (not everyone on the tour was so lucky). I would definitely book with Yvonne again.

The very fast paced coach tour throughout the National Parks of America was an interesting tour. All of the National Parks we entered were in deed wonderful but there really wasn't much time to do any long walks and we often found that we were hurrying back to the coach to continue the journey. Although we were aware of the travel distances I don't think we were ready for the very early morning departures throughout the tour and the days of sitting on a coach getting from one place to the next destination at the end of the day. There were a lot of meal inclusions in this tour, which was nice and only one optional extra tour which was the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. This is a must do extra for any traveller.

Booking through Global Journeys was indeed very easy and Georgie Walpole, as usual, managed all of our enquiries promptly and efficiently. This was the 5th trip I had organised through Global Journeys and would have no hesitation in recommending the company to any traveller.

We had a wonderful time! The accommodation everywhere we stayed was excellent, the food was delicious and the Canadian people are delightful and super friendly! Our only issue was the train, the cabin was so small we had to take it in turn to move around. Canada is breathtakingly beautiful, felt like we were inside a postcard.

Global Journeys' service is always excellent. The train and ship were well done and unique experiences but we won't be repeating them. Not an issue with the tour as such, but the North American tipping experience takes the shine off any visit.

This was our first tour with Globus and we would definitely consider future tours with them. I'm quite tall and legroom on a coach can be an issue but the Globus coach had plenty of legroom for me and was very comfortable. The tour guide was excellent and everything was well organised. Nevertheless, if you want the good location, there wasn't any better alternatives and we appreciated the location. The tour pace was quite good, with plenty of free time in stops. For some unknown reason the passengers were 95% American but most were very pleasant and the mix didn't spoil the tour for us.

Booking the tour with Global Journeys was good, booking airfares was problematic. Accommodation was good apart from issues with toilets. Fellow travelers were good company.

Excellent guide Sybille and bus driver Garod. Accommodation was excellent. Pace was perfect. All the people were great to travel with and no one was late getting back on the coach after we stopped for photo opportunities or toilet breaks (even though there was a toilet available on the coach, we still had plenty of breaks). Staff at the hotel accommodation ...read more were excellent and helpful. Some of the hotels had DIY laundry which was helpful so you do not have to pack as many clothes. The cruise ship also had a package to get your laundry done. The cost for us was USA$49.00 for unlimited washing as long as you can put it in a small blue washing bag that they supplied one of, and we just asked our room steward for more which was not a problem. There was no DIY facility on the ship for laundry.

When there was a meal supplied the food was excellent. The only negative was the staff on the train. The dining staff were excellent from Toronto to Edmonton but the new dining staff from Edmonton to Vancouver were rude, especially the man who was in charge of the dining car. On the cruise ship the only downer was the overcharging of the helicopter tour in Skagway. Got charged extra USA$130.00 for being 2kg overweight with most of my extra layers on due to the fact you are going on a freezing glacier so had to rug up. Then they tried to charge me twice for that tour, which was prepaid before I left Australia. (Globus has no control over the cruise, my negative about the cruise is aimed at Holland America). Over all had an excellent time with my fellow travellers on this holiday.

We had a great time on this tour that we booked through Yvonne at Global Journeys. We had a wonderful experience without any hiccups, from the time we arrived in Vancouver and met up with our beautiful tour director Serena and our fellow travelers who were a fun group. Loved our ride on the Ice Explorer on Athabaskan Glacier and we were lucky enough to have snow. Our Holland America Line cruise was a great way to relax at the end of our tour taking in the beauty of Alaska.

The trip was well organised. Our tour manager Signe is superb. Wish to have one extra day in Copenhagen as we basically did not have any time to explore the city. Luckily we arrived 2 days early to explore Stockholm and stayed an extra 2 days in Helsinki exploring these two cities. This was our second Globus tour and again it didn’t disappoint. We would use Globus again. One of the optionals was disappointing. Over 20 days it would be nice to have at least one more two night stop. Most of the accommodation was satisfactory.

An excellent coach tour run by Globus. We managed to see the best of England, Ireland and Scotland in 25 days. Our Tour Director Ann Marie was very knowledgeable and we found the history she told us very interesting and our Driver Carmaney was an extremely skillful driver who maneuvered our coach expertly down some very narrow winding roads. We would recommend Global Journeys and Globus to anyone who is considering visiting England and Ireland.

We both loved Iceland. It had so much to offer and the accommodation was excellent. There is so much diversity in this small country and so much to see, certainly one to add to any bucket list.

This was a convenient way to see many highlights of Iceland. Stress free with no driving to do and no worries about booking accommodation and tours. Some days were very long with too much time at rest stops and insufficient time before dinner but overall we enjoyed the tour and travelled through some stunning scenery.

My sister and I had a wonderful time. The tour director, Serena Campbell was helpful, knowledgeable and well organised. The only negative was the hotel in Victoria (Inn at Laurel Point) which was below standard, the room was dated and cabinet door was broken. The photo on the hotel website is misleading as the hotel definitely does not look like what is shown on their website. I believed we were put in the old wing where the accommodation is comparable to a 2 to 3 stars motel. One of the couples paid extra $90 per night to stay in the new wing.

Jemma from Global Journeys was very helpful with my booking and was prompt to respond to queries. I would recommend Global Journeys and Globus to my friends and I hope Globus will seriously consider and listen to the feedback regarding Inn at Laurel Point.

We had a wonderful time on the spirt to the Rockies staying in fantastic accommodation. The guide was a local and full of interesting knowledge.
