My sister and I found our travel experience to be very positive. Having never been so far overseas before we found the tour option was a great introduction to overseas travel and an overview of areas that we may like to revisit and spend a lengthier period of time in. We met a lot of great people from all different walks of life, and both our tour director ...read more and driver were very knowledgeable and professional. I can't speak highly enough of our travel consultant Frances who took the stress out of making travel arrangements and was easy to contact for enquiries and support. The only problem with the trip, was that it was too short!

Jaao, our Tour Director was excellent, young and a very interesting person . We became close friends . Re the itinerary my only criticism would be that we had insufficient time in Barcelona, the included city tour was poor; i.e. we drove past the Gaudi houses at traffic speed, too fast to even take a proper photo. At least one more full day is required ...read more so a full day tour can be taken . One guy on the tour did this, by not doing the city tour and the option to Montserrat.(which we did ). The 4 of us did all the optionals, they were all good. The dinner in Seville was a highlight, as was the optional sightseeing tour. The optional tour to Toledo was also very good. The Flamenco evening in Barcelona was also a highlight. The accommodation was of a very good standard, however it would be better if they were closer to the city centres, particularly in Madrid and Barcelona, (however, the hotel in Barcelona was fabulous) I think our favorite city was Valencia, and having a full day on our own to look around was perfect. This is what is needed in Barcelona; even if it means adding a day to the tour. I hope that my comments may prove useful. In closing, Jaoa the Tour Director was great, and deserves a bonus! (Ed. This trip has changed this season, so this review refers to a slightly different itinerary.)

I had booked 2 tours, one with Cosmos for Focus on Scandinavia and Insight's European Explorer. I was surprised by the quality of hotels and food and overall on the Cosmos tour. I actually expected more from Insight after touring with Cosmos and was a little disappointed. Global Journeys made the bookings so easy for us and also recommend everyone to use them.

Tour was well organized with great tour director and very competent driver, however the last day from Calais on the ferry to London was terrible with a crappy old coach which was very noisey and cramped and no comfort stops before the hotel in London- very sub par! The European tour was excellent, with good accommodation, meals and attractions. Weather ...read more was generally very good. Detailed route maps for each day's coach travel would have been an advantage, particulary on the long coaching days. Would definitely do this tour again.

Very happy with the Cosmos tour to Slovenia & Croatia. The tour director was excellent! Accommodation was OK, some hotels were not close to town however reachable by public transport. Beautiful places to visit. This is the second time we have used Global Journeys and we are very happy with the service. And this is our fourth Cosmos trip to date.

The tour was excellent and the tour director was especially efficient and thorough, providing detailed information and maps on all places we visited. She was even on hand to see tour members off on optional extra excursions. The whole experience exceeded my expectations.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and found it to be excellent value for money. The variety of places visited from big cities to attractions in the west such as Cody, Pierre and Mount Rushmore. Frances, the tour director was most attentive and efficient and the driver, Nancy was excellent. I have been on several Cosmos tours and would thoroughly recommend them as I have always thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Had a great time and met some nice people, scenery was awesome and tour guide was very helpful/knowledgeable. Will be back for another trip!!

Excellent tour and very good tour guide. We would like to do another one!

We have just returned home after a great 7 weeks away. One of the highlights was the Jewels of Slovenia & Croatia trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, especially the weather, after being in the cold and wet of Ireland and England. Overall the tour was very well organised, we were happy with the Tour Director , the driver was excellent and the coach ...read more first class. The accommodation was very good although in most instances a long way out of town. We had a problem at Dubrovnic where our room was above the very noisy hotel beer garden and the final dinner provided at Plitvice was not up to standard. The itinerary and commentary provided gave us a splendid insight into recent problems in this part of the World. We would like to see Lake Bled added to this tour. Overall we would thoroughly recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Cosmos British Isles in Depth Tour and the European Masterpiece Tour that we recently did. Everything was so well organised thanks to Georgie and Global Journeys. Everything ran very smoothly and Cosmos were very professional and well organised. Everyday of the tours was busy and we did the two longest Cosmos tours one after ...read more another so we did come home very exhausted but we saw so many different places. We would have no hesitation in recommending Global Journeys to our family and friends.

My trip to Morocco was amazing. Our tour director did an excellent job as she really had a thorough knowledge of the country. We were lucky to see such contrasts in the country as we experienced snow in Iffran and onto the heat of the Sahara. The hotels we stayed in were excellent. There was plenty of free time for doing a bit of shopping or exploring on our own. The coach driver also did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience something a little different.

Couldn't have asked for anything better - except more of the same. Our Tour Director Stefano was great. I honestly think the tour was incredible value for money. I had an absolute ball!

The tour was enjoyable though too fast paced some days. The accommodation was generally of a high standard with good included meals. Our tour director and driver were both professional and very knowledgeable. We had a good mix of people who all got on well and definitely added to the overall experience!

Turkey tour was just great and absolute value for money....have recommended it to many friends.

Turkey is a very different country. Cities are teeming with people, beautiful parks and mosques. The only thing I found difficult to cope with was being pestered to go to carpet shops etc to buy. Beautiful country to drive through. The houses in the rocks and the underground city were amazing. Would have liked more time to explore Basra. Don & I had a great tour and could not fault the service of our tour leader, Riccardo Cammelloni and our Driver, Dominique. Both were just fantastic and offered service beyond expectations. The coach was very comfortable and the tour group a good mix of people. Riccardo ensured we received excellent coverage of the history and interests of each site ...read more visited whilst at the same time giving us the opportunity to explore ourselves. The provision of battery operated tour guides was fantastic and these were used both with Riccardo's commentary as well as other guides employed for specific sites and tours. The pace of the tour was comfortable and generally accommodation satisfactory. The Ibis at Deauville was not up to anyone's expectations, especially the dinner and Riccardo will most probably have reported his own dissatisfaction to Cosmos. Otherwise the accommodation and dinners provided met expectations. The optional Welcome Dinner in Paris on the first night was great fun and what a super venue. A true introduction to Paris. The other optional dinner whilst we stayed in Amboise at a little family restaurant we found very good and a true indication of French life and dining. We feel Riccardo was not truly satisfied but the general reception by the touring group was good. We were so happy with our first coach tour that we feel we will take another sometime in the future and Cosmos will be top of our list for consideration. Our tour guide was very informative and our bus driver friendly and a good driver. I did enjoy this tour and although short I would recommend it. The accommodation was very good except for Niagara but it was clean and in a convenient location. The hotel was worn and in need of a revamp, which the new owners have in mind to do.

As my first solo travel experience, I am pleased to say that I had an absolutely great time. I was apprehensive as to who I would or would not meet. But I met a group of awesome friends and we had a blast. The tour guide Al Lepore was incredible and handled the tour directing excellently.
