Exceeded expectations, stunning country   2 , VIC, Australia, Sep 2025
The trip was well organised by Rachael from Global Journerys and our tour director Aziz from Cosmos executed a fantastic tour. Highlights - Fez/Marrakech Medinas, travelling to the Sahara Desert and taking in the sunset, just incredible. This tour had everything, amazing scenery, fresh and tasty cuisine and the people are beautiful. For a muslim nation read more that prides itself on a deep cultural history, it’s moving with the times and was unexpectedly more modern. Accomodation was great, the road networks easy to navigate from city to city. I travelled solo, my own room which I highly recommend, and felt safe at all times. You will not be disappointed visiting Morocco, what are you waiting for, plan your next trip!
Moroccan Adventure 4 , QLD, Australia, Apr 2022
Everything went well. Thanks to Georgie we were still able to have our holiday in April as our original Globus tour of Spain, Portugal & Morocco was cancelled 1 month prior to us leaving. This was due to no ferries running between Spain and Morocco (not Covid related but due to political tensions between the 2 countries). Ferries are now running. Due read more to work commitments we still wanted to travel at a similar time. We managed to re-book to this tour and we received our Globus refund within a week which was excellent. Georgie did mention that Globus are good with refunds (something I will take into consideration for future tours).

This is a busy tour, we travelled 2,000km and saw a lot of Morocco. There were only 12 of us on the tour and we were the only Australians. Excellent Tour Director: Paulina from Spain and very safe driver Mohammed. Very windy roads through the mountains and some roads not in a great condition.

The 4 optionals were all very good though if you didn't do the extra camel ride on the sand dunes it's probably not worth doing the desert trip from Erfoud. It would be extremely difficult to visit the Fez medina without a guide. The 2 included dinners were very good.

Hotels were ok and you need to balance quality against the price of this tour. Most included meals were ok, sometimes breakfast was fairly basic. No hotels had tea/coffee making facilities, fortunately we'd packed our travel kettle and a supply of tea bags. My favourite hotel was in Erfoud, it felt like you'd stepped back in time.

Weather was excellent, blue sky and sunshine and quite hot - up to 33C. The heat is very dry away from the coast. You do a fair bit of walking on this tour and at times on uneven ground. You do get hounded by vendors but nothing that you don't experience in other parts of the world. Moroccans were friendly and helpful and wanted us to tell people to visit Morocco.
Mesmerising Morocco! 4 , QLD, Australia, Jan 2019
We really enjoyed travelling in Morocco in Jan 2019 with Cosmos Tours. This tour captures the essence and breadth of so many different places in Morocco. It is a truly exotic, colourful and welcoming country ..... don't leave it on your bucket list: visit it and you will be won over by its beauty / culture.

Our tour director, Anne and coach driver, read more Mohammed were excellent. They made the tour special and really worked hard to cater to everyone's requirements. We really enjoyed meeting such interesting and inspiring fellow travellers. One cannot go travelling and still come back the same person .... we would recommend this tour to you, our family and friends!

We would really like to acknowledge Madeline from Global Journeys who has been a wonderful help and very supportive in all of our travel preparations. It's a true pleasure and privilege to visit such wonderful places.
Jewels of Morocco, excellent...all round!   5 , QLD, Australia, Dec 2016
Well planned trip, great coach (and driver), tour guide was lovely and full of (nice) trivia about Morocco - great interesting source of knowledge and information. Fun bunch of people from around the world to mingle with on the bus. Including the fantastic weather in December, another enjoyable 'Cosmos' holiday - thank you Ann (tour guide).
Thoroughly enjoyable tour made special by wonderful tour director & great fellow travellers 6 , QLD, Australia, Jan 2016
We were certainly very lucky to have a small group. 17 travellers in all which meant plenty of room on the bus and plenty of time to get to know and meet everyone. It was a good time of the year to go especially escaping a cold European winter. The optional excursion in Fez is a highlight and probably should be included in the price. Add the cost to read more the original price and make it a must do excursion. The optional excursion in Erford is well worthwhile as is the camel ride in the dunes. The visit to the marble/fossil factory in Erford was not very interesting and more time could have been spent in Rissani. This was our first organised bus tour and it was wonderful.
Definitely recommend this tour! 4 , QLD, Australia, Oct 2015
Was an amazing experience! The icing on the cake, that made the whole tour, was our very informative, intelligent and funny tour guide, Graeme or Aziz . Without him, the tour would have been rated Good. But with him, it was excellent. Our 2 previous Cosmos tours in the USA, were quite ordinary, due to the slackness of the Tour guides. Will definitely recommend this tour!
Enjoyed the trip alot 3 , SA, Australia, May 2015
Really excellent tour guide Graham (Aziz) who brought the whole trip together. Dealings with Global Journeys were flawless. Overall trip was excellent but accommodation varied between excellent (Marrakech) to quite ordinary Ibis). Too many & too lengthy stops through the drives. Would have been better to arrive earlier. Tipping at the level that Europeans read more are used to is always difficult for Australians who prefer, I think, to have the staff fairly paid up front .Also makes for a fairer comparison between tour company prices. Cosmos, please, one carpet sale pitch is enough for a trip like that. Lastly, having to have 'local' tour guides for the included tours was often disappointing & would be much better handled by the tour guide. Generally I enjoyed the trip very much.
Certainly recommend this tour as good value! 1 , Australia, Apr 2015
Overall no complaints most interesting and enjoyable tour, would most certainly recommend this tour as good value! Morocco is a country of contrasts from the Atlantic ocean on ones side to the Sahara desert on the other with the snow capped Mountains of the Atlas Mountains thrown in to add to the varied and most interesting landscape and diversity of people.
Packed in all the things we wanted to see 1 , Australia, May 2013
The tour packed in all the things we wanted to see and still left us with some free time for ourselves. Easy going and good guide who lived in the country and spoke excellent English.
Morocco was an amazing experience 2 , Australia, Oct 2012
Katie and I both enjoyed this tour. The accommodation was overall good, some hotels were much better than others. We had a last minute tour guide who was excellent. Katie speaks fluent Spanish and commented 'I have never heard a Spaniard speak such good, clear English.' His knowledge of Morocco was also excellent. The coach was great as was our driver read more and apprentice driver. All of the city tour guides were also excellent. I wish I could go again as Morocco was an amazing experience.
