It was well organised and executed all the way. Highlight was the Grand Canyon. Besides one or two accommodation of lower standard, overall it met expectations. The group mix was reasonable as it comprised of 2 child under 12, age ranging from 20's and above. Everyone got on well. Felt the tire puncture deserves comment as a 2nd spare is warranted after read more the 1st puncture and tour continued without a spare. Perhaps, suggest tour days can increase to 30+ days with a round trip including south and other major cities not included. Furthermore, more 2 days stop over is useful to re-charge and ability to do laundry. It is worth including more bread-fasts & dinners of various cuisines. Extra option like Warners Bros could include Universal Studio as Warners Bros studio was disappointed. Coach could accommodates unlimited bottle waters supply as complimentary.
Sorry I have not got time to review it in length but the short version is that we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour. The Driver Shaun and the tour guide Mel worked wonderfully together and between them made for a great experience and we covered evryarea which was on our itinerary. Would certainly recommend to others and we will look at doing read more further adventures like this with your company.

Tour departure from Vancouver 1st August 2025. Thanks to Hannah and Global Journeys for another hassle free booking (our 8th of 9 bookings) and memorable tour. We are still basking in the joy and wonder of what we’ve seen and experienced on our Cosmos Canadian Rockies tour which we added on to our thoroughly enjoyable 21 days Alaska Cruise and Land read more Tour, as well as 4 extra days in Vancouver.
We had no idea what to expect from Cosmos and were pleasantly surprised. We had an exceptional driver Todd and Tour Director Doug who was a font of interesting information throughout the tour and made sure that everyone was comfortable. Canada is beautiful! Each and every day revealed so many highlights, so in a nutshell – the whole tour was a string of highlights, well organised and certainly really good value for money; in fact we’ve seen and experienced much more than we could expect, imagine or wish for!
The CosmosGo app is very easy to use and provides lots of information at one’s fingertips and what is more, the tour details stay on the app as a Past Trip. Accommodation everywhere was very good and well located with regards to obtaining food. In addition we made stops along the way each day to buy food as needed. We experienced pleasant weather with mostly clear skies throughout and were part of a lovely, easy going group of people from the USA, Canada, UK, Gibraltar and Australia. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this tour and Global Journeys!

This Cosmos tour was fast paced with only two places that had two night stops. But it covered a lot of ground and we saw some wonderful scenery. Our tour guide and coach driver were very good. Thanks Georgie for doing a great job organising it for us.
We had a wonderful time exploring Europe. The tour was fast paced which enabled us to see many different places in a short period of time. We loved the 2 night stay overs as it gave us time to rest and spend more time exploring. Our tour guide and bus driver were both great! Professional and knowledgeable and they both made the trip as comfortable as possible.
Fantastic trip - Rockies, Rocky mountaineer and inside passage. Our tour guide for the land content - Mark Love deserves 15/10. He was exceptional, so helpful, knowledgeable and a great person. Holland America a comfortable liner, if I sailed again, would pay extra for balcony. AC set at lowest but too warm for comfortable sleep. Fresh air would read more have been welcome. We have been on quite a few tours with different companies and this one with Cosmos was by far the best. Our tour director Fernando spoke perfect English and was very kind and caring looking after everyone's health at the high altitudes. The pace of the tour was just right with free time and lots of options.
We had Eastern Canada on our wish list, and our researching found this tour, which worked in with our primary reason for the trip, a cruise from Boston. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to others. We will definitely book our next tour with Global Journeys. Rachel, as a tour consultant has been quick and efficient in responding to any queries we had.

Great tour incorporating all of the sights of Rome. Easy booking process and helpful staff. Highly recommended. Received itinerary in a timely manner and the CosmosGO APP is so handy.
This wonderful tour certainly lives up to its title. The wonderful places we visited, coupled with the incredible knowledge our tour guide delivered was quite simply second to none. All our accommodation, apart from our night at Faulty Towers (whose amusement value was priceless in itself), was great. The only thing I’d change would be the timeframe. read more It could easily be stretched out to 30 or more days, allowing the opportunity to explore some of the places a little more. So, apart from the whirlwind visits, it certainly lived up to expectations.

The Canadian Rockies with Alaska Cruise

Our trip to the Rockies and Inland Passage was full of fantastic scenery and activities. The Rockies and Alaska is truly vast and there is so much to see and experience. Every activity was a stand-alone experience, From leaving home and getting to Vancouver and then on to the cruise, everything went smoothly and everything was well organised. Our tour read more director and driver were exceptional. Using three different digital platforms for Global journeys, Cosmos and Holland America at times was challenging, but we seemed to have completed everything correctly.

This is a fabulous trip with 2 days at each hotel. I highly recommend the Italian Lakes as a relaxing style of travel . The lakes and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. We had a great group of people that mixed very well together. About Tracey at Global Journeys - excellent service with our bookings and very helpful whenever we sent through a query. About the trip itself, we felt that we paid a premium price for a 3 star holiday, though the cruising part on the Zaandam was quite good. The Meet & Greet in Toronto, was more of a check-in than a social experience as there wasn't read more a Welcome Drink in sight. The guide was a nice person, but over the course of the journey, did not really seem interested in interacting with most of the people on the train leg or when we were off the bus, so many of us did not get a sense of any sort of personalised service from our tour guide.
Toronto accommodation was good, but generally went downhill (genuine 3-star places) from there, especially the property in Vancouver, where we encountered mice in our room. Most of the motels did not have a functioning restaurant or bar, which was disappointing after sitting in a bus all day ! A lot of people were not prepared for being without phone or internet access on the train - these sort of things should be better communicated to people. That is as much as I want to comment on for now, but while we saw and did some really nice things, we felt pretty disappointed with the overall trip part of the experience, not the booking and admin by Global Journeys! We would encourage people to really investigate the rail and bus part of this tour as there are quite a few things that we felt should have been said and done to match the price you pay for your adventure.

We found the trip a bit of a disappointment, the accommodation was fantastic near or in the Game Reserve, the food was good with 3 meals a day with a large variety to choose from and the 6 seater 4x4 with lifting roof where comfortable and allowed all of us to have a great view and get great shots. Ours and fellow travelers disappointed was that most read more drives were only 2 hours and the 4x4 were not aquipped with radio to communicate with other vehicles and seemed to drive a set route, we were told one day we were not looking for big cats as the agenda said elephants. Also our tour guide moved between both vehicles each day but spent most of it talking to the driver. While it was a great experience going to these amazing locations I’d probably choose another provider for our next adventure in Africa.
Tour guide was extremely boring and rarely interacted with the passengers. The drivers were great, The passengers were great. The disinterest shown by the tour director in getting to know us or helping us get to know each other was very disappointing.
This tour goes to all the places you need to see. Highlights were Montreux and Zermatt. Hotels were lovely and included meals were really nice, especially the lasagne served at the family run hotel in St Moritz. Our tour guide gave good instructions so not to miss any of the trains. As we watched all the beautiful scenery from the trains we also got read more to know our travelling companions and made new friends. Loved all the optional tours.
Cosmos did excellent job selecting most interesting places along the tour. Driver Jarek and tour director Tom performed beautifully. We had the best time during this tour week.

We would definitely travel with Cosmos again and book with Global Journeys again. From our first enquiry regarding our chosen trip, all our questions were answered in detail and promptly. The website and app also making it easier to gather information. Our trip to the Canadian Rockies certainly met our expectations. There were so many highlights during read more this trip we couldn't pick one that stood out from the other, they all did. We started our trip early in June and that was a great time to go for us, before it got too hot and there was still snow on the peaks which made the scenery even more spectacular. The accommodation was great, all the rooms were large. Our fellow travelling companions were a mixed lot from Canada, USA, UK, India and Australia and all got along well.
