Ireland & Scotland 1 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2025

Thanks 😀
Trip to Ireland and Scotland 0 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2025
My tour departed on 24 October. There are 46 in our group (too big for my liking). In Ireland it rained nearly everyday so probably should pick an early departure date. In Scotland the drive was a really scenic drive with trees with yellow leaves on both sides of the roads. It rained less in Scotland. Booking with Hannah is so easy and she is such read more an efficient and professional agent. I will book with her again.

The only downside is I don't like our tour guide Kathryn Dolan because she accused me of taking one token (1 pound) from her for the bus ride(at Giant of the Causeway), which I didn't because I was waiting for her to buy the return tickets for me. For this incident she didn't apologize to me. More than 19 people from our group were on the bus. They must have all heard the conversation. I think I have travelled more than 15 tours with Cosmos. I think this is the last tour with Cosmos. She is the second tour guide that I didn't give her tips to in my more than 15 years of travel time. Her 1 pound mistake made her lose 72 pounds tips from me and I wonder how many of my tour mates will give her tips and I purposely gave the tips to the driver in front of her face, and she didn't give me the after tour feedback form that I normally get. (GJ: Ouch!)
Loved this trip 2 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2023
Our tour of Ireland and Scotland was amazing. We could not have hoped for a better tour director. Finola was so knowledgeable and went the extra distance to ensure were fully informed at each stop. Where to find the local food and interests etc. Hotels were mostly good - a few a bit too far from the township. Coach nice and comfortable although read more we requested our driver, Tony, drive a bit slower through the bends and turns. Only disappointment was Belfast - we arrived just before dinner and left the next morning with no opportunity to visit the Titanic Museum. We did all the optionals and loved them especially the Jaunting Cart Ride in Killarney. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Best Customer Service   2 , NSW, Australia, May 2023
It is our third time booking with Global Journeys with special mention to Georgie and everything was excellent with regards to arranging our bookings. We have no hesitation in recommending this company. We just finished our Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland tour with Cosmos. Beautiful countries and the scenery are spectacular. Accommodations are read more great with breakfast everyday. The only downside now in Cosmos is they removed the hotel porterage, it means we have to drag our luggage's from the coach to the hotel. Most of the travelers are in their 50’s including us. We are considering not to travel with Cosmos again.😃
First time tour with Cosmos, would tour again 4 , VIC, Australia, Aug 2019
Took the tour through Ireland and Scotland - the first tour we have done. The tour itself is relatively new, only having debuted in May 2019. It's an active tour, with lots of walking interspersed with coach travel, so be mindful of that depending on your abilities. The tour does what it says on the tin - it really is a "Highlights" tour, and you're read more skimming the surface of some of the places, particularly in Scotland. If that's where you set your expectations you will have a fantastic time. Our tour guide, Deborah, and our tour driver, John were both fantastic - warm, welcoming, funny and patient. Deborah kept us so informed throughout the journey and gave us clear instructions at each stop.

The itinerary for Ireland was great, really felt like we got to see the country, and I highly recommend the optional excursions there. Even though it was misty when we went to visit the Cliffs of Moher, we were lucky with the weather through the Ring of Kerry. Scotland felt a bit more rushed, and I think one extra night in the country would have been ideal. The Highlands were a real highlight. Accommodation overall was what you would expect. Standard 3 stars and included meals to match. There was only two places in Scotland that were subpar, particularly the one in Glasgow that was so removed from the city, that it did not feel like a Glasgow stop. Recommend the tour if you're limited for time and want to feel like you've seen Ireland and Scotland. Overall, would absolutely tour with Cosmos again. Global Journeys made the booking very smooth.
