Fast forward to the modern day as the inhumane bear pit of the 16th century has evolved into a 6,000 square-meter natural habitat alongside the Aar River.

The Scandinavian tour was also very good and I recommend it to ...read more future travellers. A suggestion is that a night and day us spent in Gothenburg as it is so beautiful but we did not have an opportunity to see the city. Again the tour director, Chris, and driver pieto, were good, friendly, courteous and helpful.
