The tour was very well organised and considering how far we travelled (3600+ kms) we always arrived at our next destination on time. We saw and heard so much, there is no way I could've seen so much if I had travelled on my own in that time. Our tour guide, Linda, was very good and she always made sure we had maps of the cities we were visiting which read more really made a difference. There was free time but if you did an optional excursion it did take away some of that time. Should point out that time before or after in New York is a must otherwise you don't see much of the city. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would highly recommend!

Firstly, thank you Georgie for your excellent service and for all your help booking this trip, it was very much appreciated. As I travelled on my own, it was so good to know there was someone back home whom I could contact if I needed to! The Trafalgar tour director, Linda, was fantastic and so knowledgeable, and our coach driver, Bill, did an amazing read more job. All the places we visited were really interesting and we got the best out of them considering the small amount of time we spent in each place. I also learnt a lot on this tour about each city we visited. Linda always made sure we had local maps which was a great help for finding my way round and deciding what I wanted to see. I must add that the tour spends very little time in New York and I was so glad I spent a week there before the tour started. I would definitely book with Global Journeys again. Georgie, you took all the stress away for organising such a big holiday! Thank you again!
Really enjoyed this tour. We found it to be quite a relaxing way to see 3 distinct areas of France (Paris, Provence and the French Riviera). We struck a good balance of organised and optional tours and having time to explore by ourselves. Our tour director Wendy was friendly, approachable and professional. All hotels were of excellent quality and most read more in a very central location. If hotel wasn't central, it was very close to public transport. Could not fault our Global Journeys consultant Yvonne. She was very professional and quick to answer emails. Thank you Yvonne. Looking forward to our next Insight tour. We were very late in booking our trip but received excellent service from Georgie at Global Journeys who communicated with us very speedily following our inquiries and ensured that all documentation was forwarded to us in time for our departure from Australia some five weeks before the actual tour. On the ground in London our reception before departure read more went without any hitches. Overall the tour was very enjoyable with an excellent and very experienced and informative tour director who did her very best to ensure that value was added to our trip whenever possible. Unfortunately she had no control over the three days of rain in Germany and Switzerland but this did not prevent anyone from enjoying themselves. (Ed. We are working on this! :) Thank you to Linda and our driver for contributing to the enjoyment of our trip. Overall everything went as planned and we even managed some extras along the way. Both my husband and myself would recommend Global Journeys and Trafalgar to our friends and acquaintances.
We would really like to thank Michelle for all her help she certainly made everything easy for us and took care of all the details enabling us to simply sit back and enjoy our holiday. No question was too trivial. I will certainly book with you again in the future and would be very happy to recommend Global Journeys to all our family and friends.

A typical high standard Insight tour with the usual first class accommodation and tour highlights in a comfortable spacious coach. Excellent Tour Director with a sense of fun. Time was available to see a show on Broadway but extra time was probably required in Washington to look at the Smithsonian. Probably would have liked more opportunity to have read more lunch at places where things like Subway or similar, even a supermarket rather than Hamburger joints a way from any other choice. Will travel with Insight and book with Global Journeys again.
The Insight Tour of Europe was exceptional. The organisation of the tour went well. Our tour director and our driver were first class looking after our needs. Their knowledge of the places we visited made the tour very interesting (in addition to the fabulous scenery and attractions). The extra comfort in the bus was well worth the expense. All hotel read more rooms were of high standard in terms of cleanliness and facilities. At all hotels staff were friendly and helpful. The tour is at a good pace with early starts most days and you need to appreciate that if you are to see the amount of countryside we saw. The tour was a real eye opener in terms of the history of the places visited - you don't appreciate it till you see it with your own eyes. Our only complaint is that the weather was not perfect the whole tour. We had a few rainy cold days but it did not spoil the experience. (Ed: Review based on slightly different itinerary. The coach trip to major attractions in Turkey was the first we had ever undertaken. We were agreeably surprised in almost all respects. The tour leader was very professional, the coach extremely comfortable and there was even a butler on board to help with our every need. The quality of accommodation was excellent and the food standard was very satisfactory read more if a little different in minor respects. The sight seeing agenda was well planned and interesting. There were significant crowds at some attractions especially when large cruise ships were in nearby ports but the tour director managed the daily plan to minimise difficulties. The mix of people on the trip in terms of countries of origin was excellent and all were compatible. The agenda did include some visits to commercial outlets with carpets, leather etc. These were interesting and served to break up a menu of trips to historical sites etc. but were not much patronised by the group. If anything, some days were a little too long but not disagreeably so. The weather was generally hot and light weight clothes were the order of the day. The local people were very hospitable and friendly. This holiday gets 9.5 out of 10 from us.

Tour was enjoyable and fun. Accommodation was clean, tidy and generally well situated close to the attractions. The tour guide and bus driver were professional and helpful with plenty of good advice. All good no complaints.

We had an amazing time. Every thing was very well organised. Tour guide was excellent. Driver did an amazing job too. Their experience working together really showed as they made an excellent team. Fellow travellers were a great group of friendly people. We all got along really well. We were very lucky with the weather too. I would and we have read more already recommended Trafalgar to people as a really excellent tour company both for content and value.

The overall trip was excellent. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed every minute of it. Our tour guide Jess was lovely, she had everything running very smoothly. People turned up on time to get on the coach with no late comers which was good. The food and accommodation was excellent.
Excellent tour. We really enjoyed it. Excellent tour director and driver. We will recommend Insight to our friends and family. Thanks Hannah Campbell for her patience and her help through the booking.
Loved this tour. We luckily got one of the new coaches, they are super comfy. The Tour Director was really competent, really lovely and so well organised she made us all feel special. We visited so many fab places, I know I will do another tour.

Our Trafalgar tour was fantastic. Canada is a fantastic country to visit - scenery, people, cities... all offered something different and amazing. Our guide, Adam, was an ex-Aussie, and our driver Ed, a Scotsman. They both got on very well together, so made the trip very smooth and fun. The Calgary Stampede was a brilliant show of horses and fun. and read more the best fireworks I've ever seen. Highly recommend Canada as a country to visit, and Global Journeys to organize it.
Our first tour together, very enjoyable. Tour guide Lena was very knowledgeable on local traditions and places we went in Scandinavia.

Scenic Scandinavia and its Fjords

Tour covered a lot of ground with many 8 or 10 hour days. I would have preferred a slightly longer tour with some more free days to allow extra time in major cities. The tour had a huge amount of included sightseeing, the tour director, Amanda Flint was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and very capable, ensuring everyone enjoyed themselves. I thought read more some of the accommodation particularly in Leikanger in Norway was very average and could be improved.
The tour was wonderful and our tour director, Daren Xavier Blake, was excellent. He was extremely warm, friendly and great fun.
Lydia was a wonderful tour director and established alot of trust and confidence immediately. She was always very personable and approachable. Joao was a great driver and an artist on the road. He managed the coach smoothly and we always felt safe with his driving. In terms of my booking experience, I felt Kirby often took too long to respond (sometimes read more 2 days) which did leave me feeling doubtful. (Ed. Sorry to hear about the delays you experienced with Kirby at Global Journeys, as we pride ourselves on our speedy responses. Thanks for the feedback.)
