It was good. Only negative item was the lack of free Wi-fi on the coach in Norway. Couldn't understand why this was so as the coach was equipped with Wi-fi and if we required it, it was going to be extra cost. On principle, we did not avail of it in Norway.
We had a very good tour leader from Portugal who did an excellent job as did the driver, also Portuguese, who drove calmly and sedately so that we were all comfortable and relaxed in the coach. The tour covered all the sights and places we wanted to see in Spain and Portugal as well as Gibraltar. We can thoroughly recommend the tour to others.

Scenic Scandinavia and its Fjords

The Travel Director, Jenn Payne was efficient and professional in in all aspects of our holiday, including ensuring we followed the prescribed itinerary fully, her attention to the needs of all 48 travellers, and her knowledge of the significance and history of each place visited. The coach driver Gastus, ensured that we arrived at each location and read more hotel on time enabling us to get the best value of each visit. The hotels selected were good, to very good, given the locations visited. Our Global Journeys travel consultant Leanne Duffield provided excellent customer service in terms of booking, ticketing and general communication.
This trip was absolutely fantastic. A friend of mine had completed the tour a year before we did our trip, listening to her experiences I knew it was worth going. Our tour leader was the best, his knowledge was incredible. He clearly enjoys his job and meeting new people. I'd recommend this trip to everyone. Global Journeys made the trip from initial read more planning to the end so easy.
We would recommend this trip highly. Simple booking process thanks to Yvonne Brooks at Global Journeys. Tour guide Justine was simply outstanding in every facet, she made our journey even the more memorable with her attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble.
If you are going to Hawaii leave Waikiki as soon as you can and make for the hills! The beauty is in the natural environment not the tired built one! This tour covered the four islands as was relaxing with multiple nights in each resort, but make sure you are cashed up for the 20% tipping on meals and the high cost of everything.
Saw a lot and covered a lot of country. Fairly fast paced schedule. The cruise around the Greek Islands very nice but the shore excursions were very rushed-trying to do too much in the time frame available - increase the time frame - way too rushed!!! and not enough time on the Islands. When the cruise was finished it was nice to get back on the read more coach to relax. We thought the cruise would be relaxing-not the case. Probably would be nice to travel more country roads if possible to see more countryside. The motorways have barriers which does spoil the scenery and photography. It was a dream come true for mum and I, to explore England and Scotland with CostSaver. The tour was perfect for us as this was our first time in the UK. The tour guide Andrew was amazing and so was the coach driver ( we had to take a detour as soon as we crossed into Scotland due to a road accident and did the driver do an incredible job of driving read more the huge coach through narrow roads and took us safely into Edinburgh). I'll definitely travel with CostSaver again. It's not just value for money but it's sophisticated, hassle-free and very pleasant. Thanks Global Journeys.

I had booked the Glorious Switzerland tour with Insight Vacations for myself and my partner and as we had travelled with Insight before, we do know what to expect. There's a lot of inclusions on the tour, hotels are very central, coaches have ample legroom, and a professional and knowledgeable tour director. Overall it was an excellent tour. I also read more would like to commend Hannah Campbell from Global Journey for making the booking for us. She's very prompt in responding to emails and any other queries I may have and I will definitely book with her again.
Our 20 day tour was full, not a spare seat on the coach which proved it's popularity. I enjoyed the quality of this tour as the accommodation was probably the best available in some of the more remote areas in Lapland. However, the rooms were not air-conditioned in these regions, therefore hot and stuffy, after all it was summer. Fortunately the fans read more provided some relief. This was my 2nd Insight Tour and I would recommend it to people who love crips, gorgeous scenery. But be aware of the long bus rides which are necessary in order to travel so far to reach the North Cape. It's a great way to experience Nordic life and I loved the optional tours to the Husky and reindeer farms.
This was a great itinerary by Insight which we felt covered some amazing places of interest with a lot of variety. We were disappointed that some of the hotels were distant from the town centres as the reason we booked with Insight was because we heard they chose centrally located hotels. We were also disappointed in the Tour Director - he gave read more confusing and not very clear instructions and don't feel he was up to the standard we expected of Insight.

We were very impressed by the organisation of both the trip and by the daily operation within the trip. Everything was done and instructions were quite clear. Bags were ready for collection and delivered to your room immediately. Meals were great with local flavours dominating. Specialist tours had guides that knew their subjects very well and delivered read more professionally. Overall it was a worthwhile experience.
Overall a great trip. Bear in mind that you will be seeing a lot of France and in order to do so some days are quite long. Some days started at 8am and finished at 8pm. Like any tour some prefer a longer stay at certain towns and shorter at others. If you don't mind the pace and want to see as much of France as possible this is the trip for you.

Overall experience very good. Trafalgar guide and driver were both very professional. The guide's knowledge and language skills were quite amazing. Hotel accommodation a little disappointing on occasion, notably Paris.
We had a wonderful Holiday in Europe thanks to Trafalgar that we had wanted to do for a long time, our travel group were a great bunch of people 34 Australians and New Zealanders. I must say our Tour Guide was the best. Lynda made our tour very special by the way she organised everything down to the last detail, put a lot of extra time in after hours read more so it ran so smoothly for us. We also appreciated how she made sure we got to places early to beat the large crowds and the heat. Lynda has a very good personal knowledge of Europe having living there for a long time which made it easier for all of us all. She has a great sense of humor and her singing and dancing is ok to. The Optional Experiences that Lynda selected were all of great standard and value for money.
The only disappointment was not being able to go up in the Eiffel Tower due to it being closed due to the riots. Lynda did her very best to make that happen at least we got to walk under it later in day after Lynda's persistence and we saw it lit up on the River Cruise. Our Driver Enzo was also fantastic as driver and as a person we felt very safe with him he never missed a beat always new where he was going and where to park for our convenience. Finally i wish to thank Yvonne Brooks at Global Journeys for helping arrange our tour, she was always available and happy to answer my many questions. and arranged everything without any problems, she always seemed to remember me when I rang even after many months which we appreciated.

The holiday was good, but we weren't warned that we would be joining a coach load of existing travellers who had all been suffering from some sort of flu virus. Had we been warned we could have taken some precautions to protect ourselves, however, by Rome Ken was quite ill and we had to get the doctor in. This virus had developed into bronchitis meaning read more that he missed the entire 2 days and did not get to see or do anything in Rome. I had to manage the 2 days on my own which was not ideal. The places we visited were excellent and very interesting. We were rather pressured after Greece into paying upfront for all the optional extras for the rest of the trip in one go and the suggestion that we might need more time to think about it was not greeted favourably. With a bit more time to consider we may not have selected some of the options on offer.
The mix of passengers on the trip was quite friendly and luckily we struck up a friendship with another couple who joined the tour in Greece with us. We did feel that we were a bit on the outer with the existing passengers who considered us as "newbies" (their word not mine). The hotels were pretty good although a few of the rooms were a bit small. The food was good on the whole and there was plenty of it, although stopping at motorway service stations for lunch was not that great. The cruise boat was not good with terrible food and minisccule cabins but we enjoyed our trips to the Greek islands which were all very beautiful. The local guides throughout the whole trip were excellent and well informed and made every excursion very interesting. The coach driver, Antonio, was excellent and his driving in pressured conditions was very professional. He was a real gentleman and always said hello and greeted you with a smile even when he was off duty. The whole trip was action packed and we enjoyed it. We felt it was all a bit rushed so maybe we may look for something a bit more laid back if we decide to book again. (Ed: Review based on slightly different itinerary. Very good tour covering all we expected to see. Accommodation was a little poor and largely on the outskirts but other than that excellent. Great Tour Director, he made the tour that much better (Andrew Thomson).
The tour overall was outstanding made by Steen the Tour Director, Kerry our Coach Driver, the Highlights as such and our fellow tourists. The only negative was that the first couple of hotels were being renovated and this caused some discomfort. I feel other hotels should have been used.
Highlights were the great scenery and rugged coast. Optional tours were a bit disappointing for the cost apart from Celtic Steps show, which was a last minute inclusion. Accommodation was great. Unfortunately the airport pick up did not go smoothly as the reps had no knowledge of our tour; eventually sorted. Tour director knowledgeable and helpful.
