Leaving Madrid and our first walled city of Avila, cobblestones, churches and overlapping cultures, was the start of journey through Spain, Portugal and Morocco to beautiful Lisbon and Seville, the mysteries of Morocco and the opulence of the Alhambra Palace in Granada. It is hard to pick one thing out as a highlight. The tour covered the countries read more and Cosmos looked after you. Some free time for the more independent traveller but great tour leader, drivers and comfy Coach, to make for easy travel. The wifi was a bonus.

The highlight of this tour for us is Niagara Falls where you will ride a boat to the falls nearly in front of it. Cosmos delivered what it says on the itinerary and the quality of the hotels is pretty good, With the exception of no breakfast on almost all days. The hotel rooms are much larger than in Europe and you will see a lot of places in 15 days. read more We loved Canada with its many beautiful places especially Ottawa and also enjoyed the eastern side of the USA which is historical and there's much more to see especially New York City and Washington DC where there are lots of museums that are free. Be sure to watch a Broadway show in NY for the experience as you will see Times Square at night and it's amazing! We had one of the best times of our lives and this tour made it happen!!!
Tina and Salvatore made our tour in Germany and Eastern Europe so easy. We saw so much, including lots of art galleries, without the hassle of getting places. Enough free time to do what we wanted and always a great orientation of each place we stayed in. The hotels were comfortable but this came at the cost of being further out from the city centre. read more Nothing was too much trouble for our Tour Director- she cared for each person and obviously enjoys people and her job. I would travel Cosmos again in preference to any other tour group.
Canada is an amazing country. The tour does a loop through the Canadian Rockies, and the scenery changes every day. We saw rugged mountains, rivers and streams, glaciers, snow fields and wildlife everywhere. The days traveling weren't too long, but you were always on the go. Our tour guide Tarek was extremely knowledgeable about where we were, what read more was around us to see, and the country in general. We would highly recommend doing this tour, as we saw so many thing and places that we wouldn't have seen by ourselves.

Departing from Vancouver early September we enjoyed perfect weather for our entire month. The Rocky Mountaineer matched the spectacular scenery with exceptional comfort. We recommend going gold leaf. Transfer to the coach to to visit glorious lakes and beautiful Banff was guided expertly by Alma who impressed us with her knowledge and good humour. read more Walked on a glacier and took advantage of optional excursions enroute through various attractive ski resorts. Caught the ferry to Vancouver Island - a gem of a city especially the waterfront and impressive Butchart Gardens and world class museum. Floyd the driver was highly skilled and managed luggage effortlessly. The Holland America cruise exceeded our expectations with lovely meals in the dining room, first class entertainment and attentive service. Stopping at various Alaskan ports was a highlight especially the historic train from Skagway to White Pass. Thanks to Georgie Walpole for her expertise in planning. We enjoyed such a positive experience that we have booked another journey with Cosmos next year.
Had a blast. The guide and driver were great. The people on the coach were a great mix of ages and nationalities. The cost was great đź‘Ť. Accommodation was better than we expected for the price of the tour.

We had a wonderful time from start to finish on this tour. Global Journeys made it all so easy for us with the tour booking and organising our flights - we could not fault Jemma she was excellent. The tour itself was great we saw everything we had hoped to and the tour guide Aki was so well informed and had a great sense of humour keeping everyone happy read more during the bus trips. The Samurai Museum was great fun and the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto and Himeji Castle near Osaka were the highlights for us but everyday was a pleasure on this tour. Weather wise it was quite hot at the start of the tour and on the last day so would probably advise anyone who doesn’t like the heat to go later in the year or in spring. Highly recommend this tour.
First trip back with Cosmos after many years and we were lucky to travel with 12 other previous Cosmos clients so made it an easy trip. The accommodation in Copenhagen and Berlin could be improved on but overall the rest of the trip the motels improved with the facilities provided.
We took this tour in 2012 and as we had enjoyed it so much decided to take it again and so glad we did. Same, but different, mostly new hotels and a few different destinations, a different time of year and it made it feel like a brand new tour. We had the wonderful John as our Tour Director and Jeff our driver to make our trip perfect and we had the read more best companions, mostly Aussies, some Kiwis and English but we all just mixed so well and this is what helps make a holiday memorable. It has an even balance of big cities and magnificent National Parks. Yes, it is long but you know that when you book, early starts but that is to make the most of every new day. Cosmos do tours so well and wouldn't think of travelling with another provider, their value for money and organisation makes choosing them easy. This trip was amazing from start to finish. Booking was a breeze, and Georgie was so helpful with changes we had to make over the years(due to COVID). We saw so many things we never dreamed we would. We ticked off many iconic sites and locations and went to places we never would have had we been doing it by ourselves. The tour was very well organized, read more and we covered many kilometers. Some of the days are very long, spent mainly on the bus, but they were made fun by our guide, John, and the rest of the tour group. The scenery changed from large cities, to small towns, to forests, to deserts, to National Parks. No two days were the same. The only thing we didn't like was the limited amount of breakfasts provided. We would highly recommend this tour, but be prepared, it is a full on trip with lots to see and long days.
Was an exceptional tour to see the most in a short amount of time. As a solo traveller from Australia to never have been to the USA yet was a real adventure and dream come true. The tour guide was average though, very basic and had been in his job for far too long, had lost the spark of travel I think. The hotels were amazing and superiorly comfortable read more no issues there. There was a lot of free time so it was up to yourself to get how much out of the trip you wanted. So if you planned and looked into things you wanted to do in the town you were in or travelling to, a day or two ahead then it was epic. However, if you weren't on the ball and waiting for someone to tell you what to do all the time you would have missed out.

I think at the very start of the trip a group dinner and meet and greet should have been formally arranged at an appropriate time to break the ice and get to know everyone as I found we were meeting people and getting to know people much further into the trip when it definitely should have been arranged from the start as there were so many nice people in the tour that had we been properly introduced from the start we would have done things together on the trip in our free time as we had common interests. Either way this trip is worth doing if you want to see many highlights in North America in only two weeks.

Travelled in August 2023. Excellent tour with friendly, experienced Tour Director and Coach Driver. A busy itinerary but with the advantage of some 2 night stays along the way. Early starts ensured arrival at various sites before the crowds and the heat of the day. Accommodation was clean, beds comfortable, included meals were great. Optional tours read more and local guides were excellent. Coach was always clean, large windows ensured great photo opportunities from all seats.
Booking on the optional dinners & excursions meant that "extra" highlights and surprises were sometimes included too.... views of the coast at Nice and Monte Carlo at twilight, sunset on the Eiffel Tower, viewing St Peter's Basilica from a bridge over the Tiber River at sunset, stunning views over Lucerne and surrounds while ascending Mount Stanserhorn by cable car are all memorable. A highly recommended tour.

A great tour with amazing scenery. I would definitely recommend this Cosmos tour. Although we had a full coach of 45, everything went smoothly under the expert guidance of Ausra.

My partner and I loved this introductory tour to the Rockies! The tour was a great mix of time with the group and free/leisure time to ourselves to explore places in the Rockies such as Jasper, Banff and Whistler. Our Tour Director was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and geography of the Rocky Mountains and took us to places that we would read more have never found on our own. My only complaint is how quickly the tour ended ;) Global Journeys made the booking process easy and seamless!

I was so glad we went with this tour it covered all the best places our tour guide (Paul) was very engaging and a extremely knowledgeable guide with loads of suggestions and interesting stories. And would highly recommend if this is your first trip to Ireland or your 10th you'll learn things you never knew before.
OMG, what an adventure we had during our Rockies tour, from beautiful scenery, to Snow at Sun Peaks in July to the ice explorer and walking on a Glacier to seeing bears, our group was amazing our Tour Director Heather- Fabulous and our Driver David outstanding.

Heart of the Canadian Rockies with Calgary Stampede

Booking with Global Journeys was hassle free and Cosmos made it easy to enjoy to great holiday with many highlights which included ticking off bucket list items such as the Calgary stampede, Banff & the Rocky Mountains. We would definitely recommend this tour to those looking for a great trip of the west coast of Canada.

A great tour with a fantastic and knowledgeable tour guide. Excellent local guides throughout the three regions also. Hotels got better as the tour went on, however all hotels have a bath in the shower, so space is limited. Meals were reasonably good but at least 2 buffet breakfasts were jam packed with people due to multiple tour groups staying at read more the same hotel in Spain on the first couple of days of the tour.
The tour is fast paced so if you include all optional activities be prepared to not have a lot of free time. The main issue for me on this tour was due to the regions not getting dark until later in the evening all dinners were served at 7:30pm or 8pm. I normally eat at 6pm so the dinners were a little late for me. At least three very long bus days too (approximately 500 kms each day). All in all a great experience visiting three amazing regions, Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Airconditioning throughout and apart from Morocco free WIFi on the coach throughout. Great drivers also, very safe.

We thought it was the best trip. The group wasn't big which was great, the tour leader Marco, was the best, the itinerary was great and we couldn't fault it...The trip was relaxed and we weren't rushed. Thank you.
If you are looking for alps, then this trip is for you 1

The tour combined many alps, substantial snow in places and castles, as well as quaint villages. There was great variety, much of which is spectacular. The title of the tour gives it away! The accommodation was variable. One thing we discovered was that it seems the hotels in some regions self-rate. Some hotels which were rated as 4 stars were really read more only 2 stars on an independent rating. As with most Cosmos tours, do not expect to be centrally located with accommodation. What shocked most guests was that we had to drag our luggage up to our rooms and bring it down. The problem here is that most hotels had tiny lifts holding 2-3 passengers at most. Also, there were stairs always involved. This is the first coach tour of any company I have done which did not bring luggage to our rooms and back. There were some elderly couples who really struggled. This luggage issue was only announced in the welcome meeting. Hannah from GJ was excellent in booking the tour and she has now booked subsequent ones.
