France Tour for 13 Days   3 Grand Tour of France , QLD, Australia, May 2024
Trip well organized in general, good group, but good and bad details as usual.

Hotels 3* with very basic facilities (missing hot water/coffee facilities and fridge in all hotels, except one) and medium/small size room, but comfy. Great beds! Some were quite distant from the city center but most were manageable. Hotels' staff were good and fluent read more in English. Our Guide was a lovely guy, gentle, polite and calm. Good basic knowledge about touristic sites, however some times the communication of plans with the group were not so clear, generating some frustrations amongst some (and almost "forgotten luggage at lobby of hotel" one one occasion!), but in general very responsible and caring in all aspects. Always trying to help as he could in some unplanned bad situations. eg. Forgotten mobile on highway restaurant!

Our Driver was polite and a good driver, I suppose, despite a bit of more opening to help, maybe bending a bit the time schedule, could have saved a lot of stress on the "forgotten mobile situation", but in part understood due to the "highway possible difficulties".

Our route and attractions : great towns and attractions but quite in a hurry. Major difficulty was coordinating the meals and available time around visited towns to avoid missing the coach. Some of the major attractions, despite described on tour, were in fact independently done, not really part of the tour, like Mt Michel visit.

Included dinners were the low part of the tour, except for the last hotel, the included dinners were extremely poor in quality. Disappointing french cuisine in fact quite "uneatable" and ridiculous in some occasions. (My suggestion is to pleases revise the quality of meals before including it as dinner..for the sake of tour name!). Breakfasts were good in my point of view in all hotels (but I'm sure not complete for those who are used to hot bkf..)

A big failure of the planned trip that made me think twice for possible next trip with Cosmos was the badly explained beforehand and unexpected bad surprise on last tour day. Example: Last Paris day with 2 optionals for the same day, included on same day of a quick Paris Bus city Tour, where, whoever wouldn't be signed for the optionals were left on their own to find their way back to the hotel, for the sake of the optional tours to be completed. This was a bad surprise. About 12 travelers tried to sort Metro station/lines, walking literally 40 min to the right spot, relying in continuous street people advices and google maps, in Metro peak hour, some with mobility difficulties. (One couple separated due to fullness of metro train had to wait for next one alone).Seriously??!! The minimal expected would have been to drop who was not on" optional " tour , back at the hotel or at the very least close to the exact Metro Station. (They should be a priority in my point of view as a client paid to be"spoiled by a preorganized tour. This transport "adventure" was explained only on the last day. Maybe some people wouldn't even bother to go to the rushy bus city tour if were aware that optional tour would have priority above the regular clientele).

In general tour gives an idea of country France, superficially, as expected for quick moving tour, but a taste of France. Food and hotels will always have + /- ,all accepted as "expected"..but the last day arrangement I believe it is a big failure in planning, that should be reviewed.
Wonderful Mediterranean Teaser 2 Mediterranean Flavors , NSW, Australia, May 2024
Fast paced introduction to many quaint villages and large cities that are found along this tour's itinerary. The two weeks passed very quickly because of the amount of socialising with fellow travellers and sightseeing, whether it be by looking out the window of the coach or walking around the cobbled laneways. Having a very informative Tour Director read more and safe Coach Driver was a bonus as it lets you relax and simply enjoy the trip. If you know before you go that Cosmos's hotels aren't in the middle of the city and you do not have porterage of baggage included, you simply make the best of the situation and don't whinge about it. Also the optional excursions are usually worth taking to complete the experience, but we found having a bit of free time to explore ourselves was also beneficial as this was the first of 5 tours we were doing.
The Canadian Rockies   1 The Canadian Rockies , QLD, Australia, Apr 2024
We started our Cosmos tour in Vancouver on April 29. The weather was perfect the entire trip and lots of wildlife to see. The highlight for me was the up close view of the black bear on the side of the road, and orca sightings for my partner. The tour guide Jennifer Roberts was amazing and very knowledgeable. The bus driver Mike was marvelous. A very read more safe driver. All of the accommodation along the way was clean, tidy and comfortable. Great mix of fellow travelers and everyone had a great trip. We would definitely book with Cosmos again!
Great tour of Canada Rockies   1 The Canadian Rockies , QLD, Australia, Apr 2024
We really enjoyed our tour through Canada. The scenery is so beautiful. I was surprised a lot of lakes were still iced over in May and some areas were closed, but we had snowfall in Banff which was magical. Have used Cosmos before and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Our guide Tarek was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful and Dennis the read more driver kept us safe. I had previously been in spring (many years ago) and chose to go in May so as to see more snow and I was not disappointed.
Great first experience of Japan 1 Classic Japan: Land of the Rising Sun , QLD, Australia, Apr 2024
Convenient booking online and very helpful direct contact with Georgie. Process and trip went to plan. Our guide Emi went out of her way to make everything right. Pottery visit was a highlight and wondered if similar paper and fabric craft visits would be a good addition if available. Accomodation standard was good. Really glad we had Georgie add read more the transfer from Narita Airport into our Tokyo hotel. Late April timing of the trip meant that the full bloom of the Cherry Blossoms were over but still some good examples were seen. Good basic view of Japan, thanks.
Fast paced but covered the main attractions   1 From St. Paul's to St. Peter's , NSW, Australia, Apr 2024
This was a great tour which covered all the major highlights - I chose this tour to give my grandchildren a taste of UK & Europe history. It was a great choice. We had a great time.
Europe ohhh just wow   1 Central Europe , VIC, Australia, Apr 2024
This was the trip we wanted to do pre Covid and have finally done it!. It was beautiful, sad and very informative. Such a beautiful country, great history but sad in that what happened there during WW 2. Wehad the best tour guide in Zsusan and our driver Sanitli. The hotels were all great and handy to the towns we stayed in. My only complaint was the read more Roomz hotel in Vienna, it was a nice room but you had to hire the jug and buy coffee - not good! Overall a great trip for history buffs.
Classic Japan   2 Classic Japan: Land of the Rising Sun , Scotland, Apr 2024
This was an amazing journey. My highlight was Mount Fuji and the blossom trees. Our accommodation was very good, the rooms were small but had everything in them you could possibly need. Our tour guide Mina was simply the best and often went above and beyond. My travelling companions were from 4 different continents but we got on really well and had lots read more of fun. I would recommend Global Journeys.
Fantastic Trip to Japan   2 Classic Japan: Land of the Rising Sun , VIC, Australia, Apr 2024
Japan was a great trip with wonderful fellow travellers. We saw the best of Japan with visits to Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, Hiroshima & Osaka. Our guide was knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend this trip to anyone contemplating a trip to Japan, and I wouldn't hesitate to travel with Cosmos again.
A Great Trip. Brilliantly organised by Global Journeys   0 Classic Japan: Land of the Rising Sun , VIC, Australia, Apr 2024
Japan is a beautiful country, and the trip was organized well. We saw so much, I thoroughly recommend a visit.
Irish Discovery   7 Irish Discovery , NSW, Australia, Mar 2024
Thank you to Georgie for making the booking process so simple. Everything was arranged very quickly and seamless from the booking, to payment to arrival in Dublin for the beginning of my trip. Georgie was very quick to respond to any questions I asked.

Just got back from doing the Cosmos Irish Discovery 9 day tour- well what can I say other than read more loved every minute - I went solo and chose to do all the optional extra tours & so glad I did. Our group was a good mix of young and old, couples, friends travelling together and a few solo travellers from the USA, Australia, Canada and England. We had a few teenagers travelling with family. The hotels that we stayed in were cosy and clean. On those nights where dinners were not included, the hotel locations were quite central. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety on offer each morning. Our tour director โ€œDeborahโ€ was fantastic, very friendly, full of such interesting knowledge of the whole country!! She grew up and lives in Waterford and had a personal touch to her history and culture and stories she shared with us.

Jarek our driver was professional, courteous and fun and ever so considerate, like driving really slow and at a snails pace so we could all get the perfect photo. We also used seat rotation of 2 rows of seats forward each day enabled others to have front row seats on coach. The coach was extremely comfortable and included WiFi and individual USB ports for recharging phones etc on the go. The scenery was spectacular and we were fortunate to have fine weather most of the time, with just light showers on a couple of days in March.

I particularly loved the tour of Dublin City sights, Guinness Storehouse, tour of Belfast with a very reputable local guide, the Titanic Museum, Giants Causeway, the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry, Muckross House, Jaunting car ride, Blarney Castle and gardens, the Tamore pub evening for the sing-a-long. All of it! A fantastic tour and highly recommend. I will definitely book with Global Journeys and Cosmos again, I particularly liked the CosmosGO app for guides, maps, tour notes to use offline. Looking forward to next trip now ๐Ÿ˜Š
Geologic marvels in Arizona and Utah 1 Highlights of the Canyonlands , NSW, Australia, Mar 2024
Wonderful tour through Monument Valley, Bryce and Zion with many unforgettable landscapes and activities. Tour director Lisa was very knowledgeable and always ready to help and driver Randy very experienced and conscientious. Weather in March at high altitude was still pretty cold with snowfall in some places.
Awesome Europe experience   2 Seven Countries, Venice & Paris , NSW, Australia, Nov 2023
We did the 7 countries in 10 days tour; it was a well-organised trip and whatever was promised, it happened; no surprises; can I say our amazing Tour Director Luigi has been great, very knowledgeable and giving us extra places to visit as long as time permits, making sure our visit to a country is all well-spent and worth the long drives from one country read more to the next. Our coach driver Mateo is the best driver, he drove us everyday in safety and we can all rest and sleep soundly on our seats. Moreover, he always keeps our coach neat and tidy. Thank you for this wonderful experience and great value for the cost of the tour; all the hotels were good and clean (Novotel, Accor Group). Will definitely plan our next holiday with Global Journeys.
Melbourne at a Glance 0 , New Zealand, Nov 2023
The 12 Apostles along the ocean shore line on our trip to Warrnambool. A wonderful 5 day tour with a fabulous group of people ๐Ÿ˜‰
Traveled to Kangaroo Island and finished in Adelaide.
Enjoyable short trip to NZ 1 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2023
We booked this 7 day coach tour of the south island of New Zealand to use up some credits Global Journeys were holding for us. Global Journeys had previously helped us organize 2 two-week tours in Canada but we had to cancel them. The NZ tour was good. There were 21 people on our coach, all Aussies and all over 50. They were all experienced travellers read more and good fun.

The tour covered all the usual places in the south island, including the TranzAlpine rail trip from Christchurch to Greymouth. We were really enjoying it until we reached Arthur's Pass, and the train was forced to return to Christchurch due to torrential rain. Fortunately our coach was able to pick us up almost immediately, and we continued on our way. We had to organize a few to many of our own meals but the tour was inexpensive, so that's understandable.
A Visit to Europe.   1 Europe's Highlights with London , Vic, Australia, Oct 2023
Had a wonderful two weeks. Cosmos were great again, George the tour leader, Giovanni the driver. Had a wonderful group of people on board. Highly recommend. Booking through Global Journeys and Georgie was hassle free once again.
Canyonlands Fall 2023 1 Highlights of the Canyonlands , TX, United States, Oct 2023
It was a wonderful trip. Blue skies, new motor coach and great guide. I think the highlight was each day, each park was better and better. The accommodations were all appropriate for the setting and the dining options were fine, but not memorable. Really impressed with the luggage handling and room check-in efficiency. Maybe a bit more info on Day read more 1 logistics to meet the guide and check-in would help but the hotel knew the drill. I would definitely take another Globus/Cosmos tour in the future.
Way to go!   2 Spain, Portugal & Morocco , SA, Australia, Oct 2023
Leaving Madrid and our first walled city of Avila, cobblestones, churches and overlapping cultures, was the start of journey through Spain, Portugal and Morocco to beautiful Lisbon and Seville, the mysteries of Morocco and the opulence of the Alhambra Palace in Granada. It is hard to pick one thing out as a highlight. The tour covered the countries read more and Cosmos looked after you. Some free time for the more independent traveller but great tour leader, drivers and comfy Coach, to make for easy travel. The wifi was a bonus.
Best way to see most of the Eastern USA and Canada! 1 Eastern Us & Canada Grand Vacation with Extended Stay in New York City , NSW, Australia, Sep 2023
The highlight of this tour for us is Niagara Falls where you will ride a boat to the falls nearly in front of it. Cosmos delivered what it says on the itinerary and the quality of the hotels is pretty good, With the exception of no breakfast on almost all days. The hotel rooms are much larger than in Europe and you will see a lot of places in 15 days. read more We loved Canada with its many beautiful places especially Ottawa and also enjoyed the eastern side of the USA which is historical and there's much more to see especially New York City and Washington DC where there are lots of museums that are free. Be sure to watch a Broadway show in NY for the experience as you will see Times Square at night and it's amazing! We had one of the best times of our lives and this tour made it happen!!!
Great time in Germany and more   4 Central Europe , SA, Australia, Sep 2023
Tina and Salvatore made our tour in Germany and Eastern Europe so easy. We saw so much, including lots of art galleries, without the hassle of getting places. Enough free time to do what we wanted and always a great orientation of each place we stayed in. The hotels were comfortable but this came at the cost of being further out from the city centre. read more Nothing was too much trouble for our Tour Director- she cared for each person and obviously enjoys people and her job. I would travel Cosmos again in preference to any other tour group.
