Only complaint was Ibis hotel otherwise excellent 2

We had a marvelous tour director called iris she spoke 5 languages and was very informative, our accommodation meals and optionals were really great. We covered so much in the 27 days and saw everything on tour plus some extras. it was good value for the money and accommodation in London and Chelsea were great - no complaints at all. A shame we didn't read more stop in San Marino for the night but there was a soccer tournament on so booked out, we stopped in a small town just outside of there but the accommodation was not the best. It was called the Ibis hotel - can't remember the towns name. Only complaint otherwise excellent. (Ed. Itinerary amended slightly and name changed from European Masterpiece to All About Europe in 2019)
Was excellent the tour was well organized. My only gripe was that the coach had a comfort stop every 2 hours (We just wanted to get there!). Word of advice - plenty of free time to do your own thing and as the organized optional activities can be a bit pricey - plan your free time in advance!

Thank you to Cosmos Tours, we had a wonderful time visiting all the beautiful scenery that Canada has to offer. Great weather and tour guide Peter and trusty bus driver in Steve. Great value for money and we will be back. Alaska cruise was also wonderful and more beautiful scenery to discover with great service and food awaiting each day.
The tour director was excellent and so was the coach driver. Felt very safe. Only negative was that some of the hotels were very far from the venues and took a lot of time getting to and from them and the hotel in Switzerland was not the standard of every other hotels we stayed at.

Excellent tour with so much to see and enjoy. Though sometimes exhausting, we enjoyed every minute and every place we visited. The operators were excellent, the tour guide was exceptional, knowledgeable, helpful and very understanding to the group dynamics without any oversight to individual needs. The places we stayed in were overall great, nothing read more really with unacceptable standard. The food offered was good and with variety. The only draw back possibly is lack of enough time for shopping.
It was very good tour and we are intending to use the Cosmos and your services in the future.
Tour of the British Isles in Depth was wonderful tour - very full on. Our guide Roseanne was excellent. Newcastle and Brighton evening meals were only just! Kensington Close Hotel is in a good location. Our bed at Kensington Close was shear torture after the tour.
Our tour was very good. Our guide Roseanne was excellent, so organized, knowelgable and approachable. She really made our tour & she also kept the large group under control and on time. We saw all the things we wanted to see and more, all hotels where good with some very good & meals where also very good. We had a most enjoyable and memorable time.

There was a good balance of included tours, free time and optional tour experiences. The guide (Larry Schwartz) initially appeared tense. However, he proved to be very knowledgeable and extremely well organised. He gauged the interests of the group very well and catered for this. Local tour guides were generally excellent, apart from Al in Boston. The read more group found him very difficult to understand. The hotel accommodation was very good, except for Boston (the Brookline Hotel) where the room was very cramped and both the air conditioner and the indoor pool pump were noisy, making it difficult to sleep. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have recommended it to our friends. We would have no hesitation in booking another Cosmos trip.

Everything about the tour was generally up to expectations, except that we did not have free wifi in certain hotels. The last hotel, Kensington Close, was disappointing not only because the wifi was not free, but the room was small and out of date and mouldy and smelly. (Ed. This trip changed slightly in 2019, so this review is based on the previous longer itinerary)
This being our first overseas trip was excellent 1

From the coach to the tour director to accommodation to tours and our extra tours, we found everything very comfortable and exciting. We are looking forward to booking our next tour with you & travelling with Cosmos.

Focus on Scandinavia

While previously the thought of a bus tour had not held much appeal, this seemed our best option when considering how to see as much of Scandinavia as we could in a short time. We were more than pleasantly surprised! The tour delivered all the best city sights with plenty of time to wander around getting 'the feel' of the place as well. The castles read more in Denmark and the mountain routes in Norway were spectacular and the time spent beside or on the fjords was breathtaking. There were also the unexpected - an amazing and very unique sculpture park in Oslo; the site of an heroic act of sabotage against the Germans in Telemark; the imposing and unbelievable 17th century Vasa warship in Stockholm to name just a few. And of course a great tour director and bus driver added to it all! We were only disappointed that the first and last days were only meet and depart days and not actually tour days despite this being called a 12 day tour. Two more days would have made it outstanding!

Very well organised and punctual arrival and departures each day. The pace was constant, without being too hectic. There was sufficient free time. It could not have been better.

The tour guide was inexperienced, although helpful, but after just completing a Trafalgar tour it was evident he was not in the same league as our first guide. The tour stopped for too long at insignificant places for lunch (mainly little places with just shops to look at, and did not spend enough time in more interesting places). Two hours in these read more places for lunch was way too long. The driver was not as helpful as the driver on the European Tour we also took and at times was rude to some of the passengers when it came to their carry on luggage. The rooms at all but a few of the hotels were very small and old. I would not travel with Cosmos again as a result of my experience with them.
From the outset let me say that all our bookings, both flights and tours, were expertly handled by the very competent, pleasant and enthusiastic Yvonne who made everything flow like clockwork. Our actual tour of the UK and Ireland was well organized and professional, the only exceptions to me, were a couple of the hotels that we stayed in were not up read more to scratch and the perennial one on tours of having too many stopovers at shopping outlets, but outside of that we had a great bunch of people, went to many magnificent places and most of all it was even paced and relaxing. The reason why you travel.
We will no doubt go with Cosmos again 1

Doris was an above average to excellent tour guide and Dennis the bus driver was also above average to excellent we no have complaints at all. The trip was frantic and fantastic. We got more than we thought possible for the price. Except for the accommodation in the cabins and Cody which was nowhere near the standard we had become accustomed by the read more rest of the accommodation. We were more than happy with what we saw & where we went, and how much fun it all was thanks to Doris and Dennis. We would recommend this tour to any who would like to see America. And we will no doubt go with Cosmos again.

There is only one complaint and that was our accommodation in Cody (US) but every where else was really good. The pace was a bit fast but we did see a lot of the country so that how it has to be. Overall our trip was very good and our tour director was exceptional as well as our coach driver. Would definitely recommend it.

Many thanks to Yvonne at Global Journeys for making the experience so easy to arrange & organise.The tour itself? Wow! It easily exceeded our expectations. The hardworking Cosmos team went out of thier way, to ensure everbody had a great time. Doris the Tour Director was professional, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Dennis our coach Captain - cool, read more calm & the expert driver. This is the tour you want if your looking for an affordable, always changing, see it all experience. From the bustle of the major cities like N.Y. to the stunning beauty of Yellowstone & the Bad Lands - its hard to top it, so relax, enjoy the ride & soak it all up. We'll definitely be back. And to those that we had the pleasure of travelling with - Superstars Rock!!

This was a fabulous tour. Our tour director Doris was fantastic. I met some great people and I am sure we will remain friends for a long time to come. Global Journeys was awesome so I will definitely use you again. I am already researching my next trip. Just need to save some funds.

Our tour director, Alley was absolutely fabulous. Her knowledge of Irish affairs and history is remarkable. I could have listened to her all day. All the accommodation and meals were first rate. I would recommend a Cosmos tour to anyone. I hope I will get the opportunity to go on more.
