Canadian Masterpiece with Rocky Mountaineer & Alaska Cruise

The holiday was a wonderful experience. Thank you Hannah from Global Journeys for your usual attentive care with our holiday bookings including the extras you arranged for us. There is a reason we have come back to you over and over again - you handle all arrangements with professionalism and attention to detail.
I would recommend tour groups between the ages of 35 - 50. This trip was good but due to the age of some, not everyone participated in the active activities therefore losing the group networking. The accommodation was in excellent locations however fridges would be more helpful.
On our Alaska, Yukon, Canada trip we had the most amazing guide, Wade. I cannot speak more highly of him he made everything come alive and there was passion in the country we saw. We saw such a diversified lot of country and the culture of the land which was most interesting. Even though we had to buy most meals this was OK as we didn't overeat so that read more was a bonus considering we were going on a cruise for a week after the tour.
It was fast paced but we were given lots of breaks on the coach so no time for the joints to set and stiffen up. Our days were filled with places of interest especially the days of long travel it made you feel as though it wasn't just bus sitting but we saw things. Wade played a few documentaries which were applicable to each place and gave us the history of the area which made our visit to places more meaningful. Overall it was an awesome trip and I would recommend to any age to go on.

Canadian Train Odyssey

We loved the misty mountains and pristine crystal clear blue lakes, it snowed in summer so we had a cold couple of days in the mountain region. The train journey from Toronto helped us realise that Canada is big, with miles and miles of forests, rocks and lakes. We saw some wildlife and enjoyed the National Parks before ending the tour in Victoria and read more Vancouver. We had a great group of people and a lot of fun and camaraderie, and our tour guide and bus driver were excellent.
We agree that it was a good time of the year to be doing our holiday as the weather was fine and very clear for the whole of our trip, this is a plus for getting max enjoyment. The organisation of the tour in regards to where we went and when was very good. The tour leader we had was very good and her knowledge of the country and all parts of the trip read more was outstanding. She tried hard to gel the 37 people from all places and countries around the globe.
The bus driver Angelo was outstanding, I salute him and rate him 15 out of 10. Accommodation was very good and we did not have any complaints and it was very appropriate for the requirements. Overall we saw a great deal of France and in a lot of circumstances it was very inspiring and gratifying to be able to see and witness some of the places and monuments in France. We would thoroughly recommend this trip to others as a way of seeing a lot of what France has to offer.

Rosa, our guide was excellent in all respects. Have done 5 cosmos trips and she tops all other guides. Mix of people were good. We were the oldest couple but that was no handicap. Enjoyed holiday and would travel with Globus family again.
The above tour was overall a very good tour and we recommend it. We had some long days on the bus, but that was to be expected. The mix of passengers was interesting but we all got on very well and had a great tour. We visited some great cities and all the excursions we did were certainly worth the effort and the extra cost. Our guide, Maja Goronjic, read more was exceptional and she certainly put the time and effort in to make the tour successful.

We were greeted at the hotel by a lovely man at reception. He made us feel welcome. We were really hot and tired and the room was beautifully cool when we entered. We noticed a note from our Tour Guide when we entered the hotel so knew what time we were going to meet. Jorje was delightful. He managed to explain everything and made one feel very welcome. read more He seemed more excited about our trip that we all looked. He was incredibly knowledgeable. It was very hot - at least we could buy cold water from the lovely bus driver. The areas where we visited were very busy but we managed to see everything. One hotel had a swimming pool which was very welcome.
Very pleased with my 9 day tour around the coast of Ireland. Great tour director and driver and a good mix of passengers. All hotels were lovely, with the exception of one, but it was only a couple of small things there. We got very lucky with the weather, as it started off cold and wet but just got better every day. I would do another tour again and read more may look into going on another one soon, but for my 2019 holiday.

Canada was fantastic, Alaska was absolutely outstanding, stunning and beautiful. So glad we added the Rocky Mountaineer instead of a coach for our Canada leg, well worth it. Highlights for me? Banff, Glacier Bay, and Ketchikan.
Toured June/July 2018.This was our second trip with Cosmos and we weren't disappointed. If you are looking for a lively tour that shows you much of what the UK has to offer this tour is highly recommended. Our coach driver, Alistair, was very skillful and showed great professionalism throughout the trip in his ability in maneuvering our well appointed read more coach in some very tight situations. Our tour director, Annmarie, was also very knowledgeable in both the history, sights and tales of all the areas we visited. Her organisational skills meant we avoided the large crowds and enjoyed the sights that much better.
The meals provided were of good quality and quantity, and the hotels, whilst not usually in the "middle of town" were of a mixed variety. They ranged from modern brick, a/c buildings to rooms in old stately buildings with varying standards of inclusions within each of these properties. If we had a complaint, it was that during our trip the UK was having unseasonably hot weather and the hotels didn't cope with this at all. There were no fans available and in many cases the windows were incapable of being opened - meaning very uncomfortable sleeping conditions, but the positive was the washing dried o'nite! Another thing we found was that the Holiday Inn London Kensington High Street was extremely expensive and had very small rooms but was in a central location.
The optional excursions were mostly of a very good standard and they complemented the overall tour. One thing that might add to the tour's charm is possibly a bit longer in Wales, especially in the Snowdonia region.
We found the tour group very easy to get along with. It was a large group of 47 people from Australia, NZ, USA, Canada and Hungary who all wanted to see and do as much as possible on our trip. The booking process with Global Journeys was one we found to very easy and stress free. Madeline was in contact with us throughout this period and also ensured we were informed of the late hotel change prior to starting the tour.

It was very well organised and our tour director Katarzna was great. I knew it would be a busy tour, I think maybe it could be a few days longer. Possibly a night in the Dordogne area and a night in Provence.
A Grand Vacation Through Eastern US and Canada 2

We have just returned from a second Cosmos trip after travelling on a 15 day-tour through the Eastern US and Canada. We had an amazing time visiting various tourist attractions of 10 US and Canada cities. There was a lot to learn and absorb during the visit: the American history and the role each visited city has played, the unique character of each read more city of the Eastern Canada.
Most of the hotels were located near or right in the middle of the CBD. All were clean and comfortable for overnight or 2 nights-stays. Our Tour Director, Becky is an exceptional woman who was helpful and knowledgeable about US and Canadian history. She performed beyond her duty to bring us many anecdotes and cheerful thoughts during the bus trip. Nelson, our bus driver had a good sense of humour and always welcomed us with a smile when we entered or left the bus.
Overall, we quite enjoyed the trip and will do the Cosmos tour again in the future. I would also like to thank Jemma at Global Journeys for smoothing out the booking process and letting our vacation to start with no hiccups.

Our Trip to Greece and the Greek Islands 4

We booked our holiday online with the help of Juliet and could not have been more happy. She made it easy and we were off on our holiday to Greece. We were picked up at the airport and from then on we were looked after. The tour of Greece was so interesting and we were amazed how beautiful Greece was. After 8 days of travelling by bus we boarded a read more ship and stopped each day at a different island. The whole tour was excellent hotels clean and comfortable and as it was our first time on a ship we were pleasantly surprised. We do recommend this trip.
This is a holiday with everything taken care of. The destination, hotels, toilet breaks, luggage, etc. are well organised. Booking with Global Journeys was smooth and on time. Due to the distance covered, it was a bit tiring.
Big European Tour 6

Very busy tour, even though we sometimes had 2 nights in one place, we usually did not arrive until very late afternoon, so left very little time to explore in lots of places. We found on this trip we had to buy a lot of the extra tours just to see the places we wanted to, as the time was very tight. Disappointing that they no longer take you inside read more the Colosseum in Rome, you now only view from outside.
Hotels were all pretty good, included meal in Lucerne was terrible, can only say it was equivalent to Ikea Café meal. Food in German Hotel was the best, very good. Verona and Carcassonne were surprisingly nice. Would have liked more time in Nice, either Monte Carlo or Nice, no time to see both. All main tourist places very busy, even though not peak season, would go earlier or later again. Good crowd on the coach, all got along well and had fun together.

There are so many highlights about this trip it is hard to say which was the best. All I can say the trip was a very good one and what we saw was out of this world. Our tour guide and driver were great they looked after us and the knowledge our tour guide was just great. I would recommend this trip to all my friends.
The tour was pretty good but very tiring, I think they could cover a little less distance and more time in less places. The accommodation and meals were good. Some of the optional excursions were a little expensive for what you get. Overall not a bad tour if you can take the pace. The transfers were excellent.
