My husband and I have been so lucky to see and experience all that our tour provided. Each day was different, well planned and extremely enjoyable. Rosie, our tour guide was fabulous, with an excellent knowledge of all areas we travelled through. Kamil, our driver... no other words but extremely skilled. He was always polite and helpful.
The three read more countries we travelled through were all different, with Norway a stand out for us... simply stunning, and I felt blessed to have my sight! This was our third Cosmos tour and it won’t be our last! On finishing I would like to suggest that Cosmos vet their prospective tour members, if the tour is an English speaking tour... no English no go!
Had the best time, on my second time around through the Rockies. This time with my husband. Highlights of the tour were seeing the plentiful wildlife. I originally did this tour in July/August 2014 and was asked by many people, which season I liked the best. They both had their own magic. Seeing Lake Louise frozen this time around was amazing. The only read more thing I would suggest is that Cosmos offer breakfast each morning on their tours, some of the starts are really early and even a couple of bananas in your room would be appreciated.
The wildlife and their babies were wonderful to see. Whereas from July to August, seeing the salmon swimming up the river and the bears catching them was also magical. So, whatever time of the year you choose to go. You will have a wonderful time.
Whole experience of this holiday was fantastic. From the initial booking to the Tour Guide (Linda), our coach driver (Jason), our adventures along the way... Great vacation.
This trip was super well organised, the staff all the way amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful in all instances. The hotel choices were quite good, the transport during the land part great, driver and guide very nice. The extras, despite bit “bitter in prices” mainly at the Alaska part, were great and I suggest to get a few of the extras to have read more a better idea.
The ship part was good, expect to come home with extra kilos. Food was great... The Holland America line was great, however it can be a bit confusing in terms of fees that started to be charged daily, so ask about it so you don't have surprises. There were a few attractions and presentations, mini courses, shows during ship trip, but not too many options.
In general it was a great experience, great place to visit, Alaska is magic as well as the Rocky Mountain area. We were surprised with the organisation and a new trip with same group is in our list.
It was a great trip. One of the best places I've been. Good and bad details but in general great tour, good guide and driver. Food also good..hotel quality OK,basic facilities, some better than others. Cruise was amazing.
Great holiday. Hotels were very good quality although some were in suburbs and not in city centre. Good value for money with inclusions taking us to some very nice attractions. Good choice of optional extras. Repeat customer six times now and would recommend Cosmos and Global Journeys to family and friends.
This was a well organised trip that I would recommend to others. Lisa was an extremely good tour guide. The coast driver Randy was excellent. The motels were all good. I believe it was great value for money. Jemma from Global Journeys was a pleasure to deal with. Both my husband and I had an amazing time.

I would travel with Cosmos again, I am pleased with the performance of the tour director and the driver. Hotel accommodation was okay but provided dinners weren't the best.
Had a fabulous time on my 18 day trip around UK and Ireland seeing so many interesting places that were on my bucket list. Would not have been possible without our wonderful and knowledgeable guide Gordon. Big thank you for making sure we weren't left behind anywhere!
As with Gordon our trip wouldn't have been as awesome without the amazing driving read more skills of Georgie, I am in awe!! And you did this whilst looking truly immaculate every day. And finally our tour group was such an interesting mix of nationalities, personalities, age, etc who blended so well to help make awesome and lifelong memories. Thanks to you all.
The hotel in Jasper was disappointing (Marmot Lodge), the food and service in the restaurant were really bad. The tour director and driver were excellent. Fellow travellers got along really well.
This is the third Cosmos tour for us and they never disappoint. Our guide (Todd) was exceptional, I cannot speak highly enough of how he absolutely made this tour. This tour is the perfect mix of cities and national parks - the parks were our highlight.
All accommodation was really good, usually in centre of everything and very convenient. This read more is also our third booking with Global Journeys because they are more economical than booking direct and make it all very easy. Thanks Jemma for organising this for us.
Great value tour to see all the main iconic sites across the east coast to the west coast of America. Fantastic value for money tour and very well organised.
A thoroughly enjoyable trip to some lesser known destinations. Itinerary was perfect especially tours of Romania and Bulgaria. Most hotels were great except for the Ibis in Budapest and Yantra where the air conditioning didn’t work! The trip provided a good insight into the history of each area through the various local guides and tour director.
The only disappointment was Boston and the hotel. It was hard to find my room. The lift wasn’t working and the hotel wasn’t in a very nice area and not close to restaurants etc. My door and the door next door was impossible to open. I managed to get another room which was just as well as the door wouldn’t close.
Our Tour Director and coach driver read more were very good, I think we needed more time in Washington DC. I think breakfast should be included in each city as we were on the move quite early every day. There was a mix up regarding Go-Link picking me up so I missed my flight and had to pay $US 307 to get on the next flight.
This is a very popular trip, with 2 tours running concurrently on the same date. Our coach had 44 people, which is the largest we've encountered. The tour had a good pace, even though there are always places we would've liked to have seen more of (Mijas in Spain for example). Our tour director Paulina was the best one we've had on one of these tours read more (and we've done over a dozen) as she spoke excellent English, was firm, humorous, directed people well, and gave quality advice.
The only major negatives were (as usual on these tours) the hotels and the included meals. Most were good, some were average, and some were terrible (no safe in the room when we were told "every room has a safe", only one towel for a twin share, no telephone, poor wi-fi). It was an experience to see Morocco, but no matter how many times we were warned, some people still managed to fall prey to stomach issues. Overall a great tour and one I would recommend with a few caveats.
The Rocky Mountaineer was fabulous... and the coach section of the Rockies was amazing. Our tour director Brad and Driver Kong were exceptional. Made the holiday very special and one to remember.
I have returned from doing the Cosmos Canadian and Alaskan Masterpiece. This was a fantastic tour which I would highly recommend.
We had Georgie Walpole from Global Journeys as our travel agent, and she was excellent to deal with both on the phone and via email (we live in NSW Hunter area). I found all of my dealings with Georgie very good based read more on her being obviously very knowledgable, experienced and professional. Also Global Journeys offered the most competitive pricing, based on other quotes obtained. I would also highly recommend her as a travel agent as well.
We went on the first tour of the year which was 27 April, 2019. We found this to be great as we still experienced lots of snow in Banff and Lake Louise. Also the bears were just coming out of hibernation and we saw a few close up (out of the safety of the coach window). We also saw other wildlife such as elk and deer on numerous occasions. We did a whale watching Cosmos optional tour from Victoria and saw a grey whale along with sea lions and otters. We saw whales while on our 7 day cruise portion of our trip as well.
We had a mix of ages on our tour between around 45-75 years old, median age probably in 60s I would guess. Our very experienced guide Brad was a wealth of information and an all round great guy. We did the Rocky Mountaineer for 2 days of our tour. The scenery was spectacular and we saw wildlife from the train as well. The service and food were excellent as well.
I travelled with a friend and we both agreed that this tour was excellent value for money. All of our accommodation was great, our tour coach and driver were great. We got to experience a lot of different places in a short space of time around Canada and 3 different ports in Alaska- Juneau, Skagway & Ketchikan. The Holland America cruise was good too.
The scenery in the Rockies was unreal, Tareq the guide was excellent, very organised and good people on tour. The only negative was the cruise, a $600 deposit which is just an excuse for interest and $20 AUS per drink after taxes and tips?
Our Tour Director Judit was very knowledgeable and helpful, and our driver Pavel was a real professional.
The tour could perhaps be extended by a day or so, as we had a couple of very long days in the coach. I would also suggest travelling in May or June rather than early April, as it was still very cold read more then. Most of us from the Southern Hemisphere, who are not accustomed to that climate, quickly picked up a touch of the flu!
