Great trip for the cost. We had New Zealanders, Americans and English amongst the majority of Australians. We all got on extremely well, and made the most of our time together.

Our Cosmos Train Tour of Switzerland could not have been more enjoyable. Our tour director Fiorenza (Flo) was brilliant in providing detailed background to the scenery we were enjoying. Her instructions were clear so that no one kept the group waiting and all particular needs were remembered and catered for.
Swiss trains are extremely comfortable. read more We were in First Class most of the time with luxurious panoramic windows to enjoy the snow covered Alps, the rushing mountain streams, the amazing viaducts and the cute Swiss villages dotted across the alpine terrain. The Swiss engineering which makes such a tour possible is incredible.
Our hotels were very good with only one in Krienz below our standard. The breakfasts were always tasty with an extensive selection, and the included dinners much appreciated. Flo always directed us to somewhere for lunch with inexpensive but healthy options. In particular, Flo had a very positive influence over the group so that we travelled together very harmoniously, making our tour fun for everyone.

Ontario & French Canada

An excellent tour travelling through the eastern cities of French Canada. Our tour guide Peter and coach driver Steve were excellent in keeping our group organised and informed throughout the trip. Peter kept us all entertained and informed with his vast knowledge of this region. A few highlights for me were Niagara Falls, Ottawa City, the included read more cruise around the thousand island region and the French influence of Quebec City and Montreal. The accommodation included in this trip was excellent and the optional tours are something everyone should consider.
We followed our Canadian and Alaska tour with a Yukon tour. The sights of the Yukon and the towns on the Gold Rush run, were amazing. the people were so friendly. The land of the midnight sun takes a bit of getting used to, but most hotels have blockout curtains. Again cannot say which tour was the best, they both have something to offer. Again, breakfast read more should be offered by Cosmos. Overall good value.
What a fabulous overview of Eastern Europe travelling with Cosmos (booked through Global Journeys). So many highlights but in particular... the Wieliczka Salt Mines, cruising the Danube River in Budapest, the many old city squares which were beautiful, The Kursalon Waltz show in Austria, the Folkfore dinners and so much more.
An incredible history read more of survival and rebuilding in these previous war torn countries of which I really knew so little about, but now have a better understanding and a greater empathy for what they’ve gone through. Our coach and driver Gianfranco were exceptional, and our guide Timea was professional, enlightening, insightful, helpful and fun! We had twenty travel companions in our group from both Australia and the USA who all looked out for each other so rather a good mix in my opinion.
This was my second holiday with this company and both tours have been excellent so I would most certainly consider booking with them again in the future. Our accommodation was of a high standard generally and as a solo traveller I paid a single supplement and had my own standard double room up until the last two cities where I was put into very pokey, cramped single rooms. The last bathroom was so small I had sit on the toilet bowl sideways (try it sometime) and had to dry myself and my hair outside the bathroom itself. Aside from that minor issue, all in all a fantastic trip which I loved and I would recommend to everyone.

Canadian Masterpiece with Rocky Mountaineer & Alaska Cruise

We had a wonderful tour with Cosmos on the Canadian & Alaskan Masterpiece which included the Rocky Mountaineer. The weather was perfect and quite warm in some places, we only had one rainy day on the cruise in Ketchikan.
The highlights for us were seeing the Black Bears and also the Grisly Bear feeding on the side of the road... The other standout read more was going down and walking on the glacier... what an experience as I have never seen snow before... The overall journey was more than I expected and the accommodation was OK although not 4 stars, Jasper would only rate 2 stars but that is only is only minor.
I would like to thank Yvonne for her excellent organisation for us through emails as we had no hiccups at all through the whole journey.

Wonderful Rocky Mountain Tour 1
Canadian Masterpiece with Rocky Mountaineer & Alaska Cruise

We had a wonderful trip on the Gold Leaf Rocky Mountaineer. The scenery of the lakes and the glaciers was stunning. We have taken hundreds of beautiful photos of them. The Tour Director was very good and knowledgeable. From her we know more of the places, the native plants and animals there.
However, we were a bit disappointed about the Alaska Cruise. read more We did not see much of the glaciers because we went in early June. It would be better if the cruise started in early May. Anyway, the service on the cruise was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Booking process was easy. Favourite stops in the Rockies were Banff and Jasper. Weather was fantastic for most of the trip. Tour Director very knowledgeable and Coach Driver was fantastic. Good value for money. Favourite stops in Alaska were Skagway and Glacier Bay. Our Rockies tour package didn’t include meals and I read more would go that way again as there is no shortage of places to eat at reasonable prices. Had great stops and sight seeing along the way. Very happy overall. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Cosmos again.

Niagara Falls was so great to see l can’t believe that it froze last year it was just beautiful. Quebec was a jaw dropping sight. The hotels were great and the mix of people were great.

A great tour through the Canadian Rockies where we were able to see such wildlife as grizzlie and black bears, moose, elk, deer and bald eagles all from the comfort of our coach seat. The accommodation arranged for the tour was excellent. The optional tours available are something I urge anyone on the tour to consider as i felt they made the trip more read more memorable. The two people who really helped make the trip a success were our tour guide Elaine and coach driver Kong. Their organisation and approachable manner, their knowledge of the regions and humour kept our group amused throughout the trip.

Wow what can I say about this tour the pace was great (9am to 5pm) except for the last day 8pm. So plenty of free time to do some exploring on your own. Small group and everyone mixed in well.
As for Iceland, a land of variety of landscapes and adventures. Locals were friendly and helpful and most spoke English which saved us having to learn Icelandic. read more Only drawback was the cost, a wee bit expensive. But hey either you pay or go without.
Tour guide and driver, spot on. We have never met a guide the likes of Soffia. Easy going, accommodating and very thoughtful. Provided us with some unscheduled extras such as the most northern Botanical Gardens. If she saw a particular tour site was busy she would reschedule the stop. As to weather - arrived back in Australia and colder than Iceland. Cosmos you are on a winner here.

Only negative was that although gratuities were pre-paid, this only covered 14 days & not the 17 day extension tour. Had to pay extra gratuities to tour guide/driver for these 3 days as different to original driver/guide.

Great tour, wonderful presentation in Civil War history, beautiful mountains, parks, town and cities. Knowledgeable tour leader. Skilled bus driver. Accommodation high quality. Good organisation, no hiccups at all. A thoroughly enjoyable trip.

We cant speak highly enough of our total experience. Jemma Rossen at Global Journeys has been absolutely amazing. We are first time travellers and she made the whole trip stress free and answered everything we threw at her. We would absolutely use her again and highly recommend Cosmos too.Daniel Wilson is the most incredible tour director - we cant also praise him enough.

We had an amazing holiday, we would recommend it to anyone. The Rocky Mountaineer train in Silver Leaf was all you needed and the service, food and drinks were excellent. The scenery and wildlife on the train and coach was great to see.
Our tour guide Sharon from Cosmos was brilliant and made the whole journey one we will remember forever.
The read more cruise up the Inside Passage to Alaska was also excellent with glaciers, mountains and more animals and the meals and service onboard could not be faulted. All in all we will remember it for a lifetime.

Had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour from booking to the end of the tour every detail was looked after. Saw wonderful sights, attended great optional tours, stayed great hotels. My tour director Judy was the best I've had, nothing was too much for her to do. Our driver was experienced interactive. Great tour all round, recommend for sure.

Every where you look on this trip from the moment you set foot in Canada you are surrounded by postcard views. This is a "must do" tour. The bus touring was a joy.To see grizzly and black bears, moose, goats, sheep from the coach made for an exciting time, helped by our great driver Derick who would stop and go back for us to see better. The travel read more was not too fast and the accommodation was all good, (could do with USB ports). The whole trip, coach and ship was a seamless operation. Can highly recommend this trip to all and all ages, you won't be disappointed. We went in May /June the end of winter, got the best of both seasons.

This was a tour of contrasts - the wonderful history and culture of Rome and the amazing scenery of the Amalfi Coast and Sicily. The tour split at Sorrento when some people returned to Rome with the original tour director and more people joined us with a new tour director. We would have preferred to keep one group constant for the whole tour.
Hotel read more accommodation was very good, a standout being the Hotel San Michele at Anacapri, where we had a magnificent position overlooking the sea, and the whole island of Capri was breathtaking. Sicily was so beautiful! We enjoyed the overnight ferry crossing from Palermo to Naples, the hilltown of Erice was charming and such fun to ride up in a cablecar, and Taormina was very pretty, the Roman villa at Piazza Armerina and the Greek temples were stupendous.
We had quite a bit of rainy weather but we still managed to enjoy all the sights! The drive around the Amalfi Coast was stunning. Well done to Cosmos for an enjoyable tour! And Georgie at Global Journeys made our bookings with efficiency and friendliness.

Hannah from Global Journeys was fantastic. Great holiday, plenty of time to enjoy our time in Ireland. Our tour guide Tom was the best and made the holiday so enjoyable. Lots of laughs. Tour group were great too.
Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Cosmos - the itinerary was fantastic and we visited some wonderful places and towns. While a very fast paced tour, we saw a lot and overall had sufficient time to take in the most important sites. Very pleased with the accommodation used throughout the tour and great English breakfasts included.
