Our coach tour director, Judes, was fabulous. The group that we travelled with was full of fun and very inclusive. It was easy to book through Global Journeys. Hannah was very helpful and responded to questions very quickly. The trip itself was amazing! Visiting Canada (BC and Alberta) and Alaska has been on my bucket list for a long time, and this read more trip ticked all the boxes. I saw black bear catching salmon in the wild, went on a sled ride with the huskies, up in a float plane in Alaska and a helicopter flight in Banff. Seals, Otters, and Bald headed eagles are a common sighting in Alaska.
Everything is just so, so very beautiful. Glacier Bay in Alaska is a special experience. I would definitely recommend that people upgrade to Gold Leaf on the Rocky Mountaineer - what an experience! Thoroughly spoilt whilst travelling through some of the most beautiful scenery that the world has to offer. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone planning to visit this part of the world. Very good value for money.

For my wife, we requested a disabled bathroom (shower chair, toilets and shower area hand rails). We got them only in some hotels, and in some hotel rooms there was not enough space to use the wheelchair. There wasn’t any microwave ovens and kettles in most of the hotel rooms. When we had to make our own breakfast it was hard to do without a microwave. read more We are happy to mention our Tour Director Judes Douglass and Peter Smith the coach driver, they were so helpful and very professional about their jobs. Overall the tour was very good. We enjoyed it.
An amazing, beautiful and unforgettable experience we had on the Focus on Scandinavia tour with Cosmos. The highlights were the Fjords in Norway and hassle free bookings with Global Journeys with the help of Yvonne. Sure we will plan for another trip soon. Our tour director Anna Losonczi and Csaba our tour driver did a wonderful job. Our tour went so read more smoothly. Thank you for all the job well done.
We thoroughly enjoyed our coach tour of the Rockies. Booking online with Global Journeys was very easy and efficient. On the tour our guide Dan was very knowledgeable, not only about the area in which we were travelling, but he also gave us lots of information about Canada generally, all the while keeping us entertained with music, DVDs and the occasional read more quiz. Our driver Keith was courteous, helpful and always cheerful, but most importantly, a careful driver.
We loved how this tour had four free days which broke up the routine of early starts and sometimes long days on the coach. Those long days though were well paced with frequent stops. The accommodation was excellent with one exception being the Sandman in Vancouver. Some guests had good rooms, others not. Ours was small with no fridge or microwave. The air conditioning was noisy. The location of the hotel was good, however. We fully recommend this Cosmos coach tour.

We had a great trip of Spain, Portugal & Morocco with Cosmos. Very well organized, could not find any faults. The Tour director and our bus driver were great.

The trip surpassed all my expectations. Every day was a new and beautiful part of Canada that got better and better. The Cosmos tour was fantastic. It showed us so many hidden gems and I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to experience western Canada and Alaska.

We had a wonderful, well organised holiday through Canada and Alaska. A coach full of only Australian tourists, who, apart from 2 people, all continued on the cruise. Great friendships made and good times had by all.
I could not fault this trip.. so well organised, professional in all aspects! Our guide was beyond knowledgeable he was fun helpful and really took care of us. It was an experience I will never forget!!

This was by far the best trip we have taken with Cosmos. The tour was well planned, the tour leader (Judi) was brilliant giving us all heaps of info, telling us the quickest away to get to places etc. The driver was the best, never stressing in the heavy traffic and even got off to remind a car that he was in the bus lane.
This trip was my first overseas experience and it was fantastic. Elaine Wright the tour director was fantastic and was extremely knowledgeable and had everything and all 43 travellers organised and on time every day. Mike the driver was great as well. The scenery in the Rockies was fantastic and no photos actually do it justice and I enjoyed the tour read more and the company of the other travellers so much. Would definitely recommend Cosmos in Canada again.

Toronto to Toronto. Lots of highlights but Niagara Falls the standout. Cosmos put together a great tour. In hindsight could have ended the tour in Montréal and linked into our Rockies tour from there. Montréal back to Toronto is just backtracking really, but tour director Susan was so entertaining and enjoyable to be with it made it a worthwhile trip read more back. For us this was the ideal trip to add to our Rockies and Alaska tour, just took a flight to Vancouver and it linked in well. Perfect weather all the way as well. July/August is a good time to go.

The 8 Day tour of Slovenia and Croatia was fast moving, 2000+ kilometres in 7 days, but nonetheless amazing and spectacular. Highlights included the huge Postojna Caves, Split and the beautiful Dalmatian Coast, Dubrovnik, and the Plitvice Lakes National Park, and we loved Ljubljana even if we couldn't quite get the pronunciation right. Our tour leader, read more Oki, did a good job. Oki was very organised, and needed to be because of the fast pace of the tour. Thank you Yvonne for finding this tour which allowed us to see Croatia tagged onto the tour of Ireland.

This was the 3rd Cosmos that we have done and as usual it was very well planned and executed. Everything was taken care of, the hotels were good and we saw as much as we could in the time period. The tour Director and Driver were great. Loved seeing Madrid, Porto and Salamanca and all of the stops in between. The walking tours of the old cities were read more amazing - so much history. Thank you to Jemma at Global Journeys - always there to help along the way. We will be organising our next one in the next 10 months or so. Thanks again.
Tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was great funny and helpful. Would love to tour with him again as he was full of information and facts. Certainly would recommend our guide to anyone and the holiday as well.

Be prepared for a whirlwind tour in comfort. The Cosmos coach was roomy with good legroom. Every day seats were allocated in rotation, so everybody had a chance to sit up front, middle and rear of the coach. About every 2 hours or less the coach stopped for a comfort and coffee stop, often in a place of interest or scenic beauty. The pace was fast with read more early morning starts the norm. There were only a couple of 2 night stops and they were appreciated after packing and unpacking everyday. The group of 44 on the bus were mainly Caucasian, English speaking Australians, Canadians and Americans, friendly enough but never really gelled as a group, but it was argument and dispute free.
A little disappointing was that many of the stops where there was an attraction, that no admission tickets were included , the tour was well priced but personally we would have preferred to pay just a little extra and have these entrance fees included. If we had no interest in the attraction on offer, apart from the usual woollen and souvenir/cafe shops, time was wasted while those who chose to see the attraction were away. Be sure to take a good book to while away the waits.

We were first time travellers with Cosmos and I have to say we were both pleasantly surprised. In fact we really couldn't fault them. The accommodation in all instances were spacious, comfortable and very well located. Our tour director Sue was extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the tour and couldn't have been more helpful. Our driver Neil was read more very capable and always mindful of opportunities to stop when wildlife was spotted. We would not hesitate to recommend Cosmos as a tour company and we fully intend to travel with them again. Global Journeys who organised our travel arrangements for the second time now were as before very efficient.
I found some of the excursions a bit misleading, especially in Denali. A whole list but you could only have time for two at the most. The wildlife walk was more botanical than wildlife and not worth $115.
Following on from beautiful Canada, Alaska was equally fantastic. The rugged beauty of Alaska and from the coach, seeing native animals in their natural environment was unexpected bonus. The trip was well organized and the people on the tour were great company.
Look, there's not much I'd want to change with this wonderful tour. I can't express how amazing our Tour Leader, Helen, was. Such a lovely taste of everything UK... some places I need to return to and others I could have done with less time in. Having said that, we were there at a very busy time of the year and this most likely affected our view. I read more was happy with the accommodation, some issues at places, but it's really the least of your trip. Baggage was handled for us at every stop which was marvellous.
Some of the excursions were phenomenal (do not miss Bunratty Castle evening!), others not so much, but it's all still part of the experience. Plenty of free time to find your own feet, which I appreciate as I like to 'feel' a city on the public transport systems and chatting with the locals. Lots of included meals (quite expensive to eat and drink in the UK). My special tip: go straight to the lounge on the ferry crossings... will cost you a few $, but better seating, drinks and food included, and toilet facilities.

I enjoyed the trip. In general all was good and particularly liked the Rocky Mountaineer train and the coach trip. The Tour Director Dane Wilson was excellent. Accommodation in Jasper can be reviewed and it is not up to standard. I am not very impressed with Holland America Cruise. I have travelled by other cruises ships and Holland America is not of value for money.
