Itinerary

Tour begins: 6:00 PM, Hilton Anchorage. A transfer is included from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport to Hilton Anchorage. We invite you to join us this evening for a welcome reception and dinner. . Stay: Hilton Anchorage (D)

Sightseeing in Anchorage this morning includes scenic touring along the breathtaking Kenai Peninsula, where snow-capped peaks, glacier-fed rivers, and rugged coastal cliffs create an awe-inspiring backdrop. Journey through vast wilderness, passing dense spruce forests and shimmering lakes that provide a habitat for moose, bears, and bald eagles. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way as you take in the ever-changing scenery before continuing to the port.

Later today, board your elegant Silversea ship, settle into your suite, and begin your 7-night cruise through Alaska's spectacular coastal waters, where towering glaciers, remote fjords, and breathtaking scenery await. Stay Seven Nights: Silver Moon (B/L/D)

You'll spend the day cruising to the spectacular site known as Hubbard Glacier—the largest tidewater glacier in North America. Stretching over 76 miles from its source in the Yukon, this immense river of ice is constantly advancing, creating thunderous cracks and towering icebergs as it meets the sea. Named after Gardiner Greene Hubbard, a lawyer, philanthropist, and the first president of the National Geographic Society, the glacier honors his contributions to scientific exploration and geographic research in the late 19th century.

Set in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the massive glacier is dramatic, mesmerizing, and historic. Watch for calving ice as your ship navigates the icy waters, and take in the breathtaking panorama of snow-capped peaks, deep blue ice, and rugged Alaskan wilderness. Keep an eye out for wildlife, as seals often rest on floating ice, and eagles soar overhead. With its ever-changing landscape, Hubbard Glacier offers an unforgettable glimpse into the power and beauty of nature. (B/L/D)

The city of Juneau is the capital of Alaska, surrounded by valleys carved by glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Accessible only by air or sea, it offers a unique blend of frontier charm and natural beauty.

Your sightseeing choices today include a visit to Glacier Gardens, where vibrant flowers bloom atop upside-down trees, followed by panoramic views of the Gastineau Channel and a stop at Mendenhall Glacier, a massive river of ice with scenic trails and interactive exhibits detailing its formation and impact on the region.

Alternatively, embark on a wildlife cruise through Stephens Passage, where you may spot humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, and bald eagles while enjoying commentary from an onboard naturalist and complimentary local treats. Or paddle through the pristine waters off North Douglas Island, watching for porpoises, seals, and eagles while navigating along the rugged coastline. Weather permitting, you may catch a distant view of Mendenhall Glacier, a striking contrast to the lush forests surrounding it.

Enjoy some free time in Juneau, then respond the evening at sea. (B/L/D)

Arrive in the historic gold-rush era town of Skagway for a choice of excursions. Step back in time aboard a vintage streetcar and the world-famous White Pass & Yukon Railroad, tracing the rugged route of Klondike stampeders through breathtaking mountain passes, glaciers, and waterfalls.

Enjoy panoramic views along the Klondike Highway and explore Skagway's National Park Historic District, with time for shopping or independent discoveries. For a more hands-on adventure, visit an Alaskan musher's camp, where you'll ride in a custom-designed summer sled pulled by energetic sled dogs, then meet the next generation of racing champions at a puppy play session.

Travel back through the site of the historic gold rush town of Dyea before returning to Skagway. Or take to the water on a Glacier Point Safari, cruising along a wildlife-rich coastline before paddling a voyager canoe across an iceberg-studded lake to the face of a remote glacier. A short hike brings you close to this frozen wonder before your return journey by boat. All choices return to Skagway, then continue sailing the amazing Alaskan coast. (B/L/D)

Arrive in Sitka, a town rich in both Tlingit heritage and Russian colonial history, set against a stunning backdrop of forested mountains and island-dotted waters. Once the capital of Russian America, Sitka blends indigenous culture, historic landmarks, and abundant wildlife. Set out on a Sea Otter & Wildlife Cruise, where a naturalist guides you through Southeast Alaska's pristine waterways, home to sea otters, whales, sea lions, porpoises, and bald eagles.

Aboard a specially designed vessel, navigate narrow island passages for up-close encounters, learning about the delicate ecosystem and the sea otter's dramatic recovery from near-extinction. Enjoy sweeping views from the observation deck or relax inside the heated cabin.

After your cruise, enjoy free time to explore Sitka's charming waterfront, local shops, or historic sites. (B/L/D)

Arrive in Ketchikan, a historic fishing town surrounded by lush rainforest and steeped in Native Alaskan culture. Today's shore excursion choices include a visit to Saxman Native Village, where Tlingit traditions come to life through storytelling, dance, and intricate totem pole carving. Learn about Dungeness crabs, with the chance to pull up traps alongside local fishermen, or explore a rainforest wildlife sanctuary, home to eagles, bears, and deer. For adventure seekers, embark on a thrilling Alaskan crab fishing expedition or paddle through pristine coastal waters on a kayaking adventure.

Return to the ship early afternoon, and set sail for Victoria. (B/L/D)

Spend a full day at sea aboard ship, cruising the Inside Passage and coastal landscapes of British Columbia en route to Vancouver. This famed waterway is a labyrinth of forested islands, secluded fjords, and misty mountain peaks, offering breathtaking views at every turn.

As you sail, admire the rugged coastline where ancient forests meet the sea, and watch for whales, dolphins, and sea lions in the water, as well as bald eagles soaring overhead.
