This is the first tour I have been on. My tour consultant at Global Journeys answered many questions that I had before booking and also before leaving. Right at the start of the tour there was a hiccup as our first nights hotel had been changed just the night before - this was not Cosmos doing but the hotels. After that things were great. We had a read more great tour guide and driver. The tour guide gave us so much information and history which helped me to enjoy and understand Ireland more. The optional extras were great. There was a good variety of things to do and see. Each days travel was broken by stops at different places to see, photograph, shop and explore. It was a great tour and I would use the same company again if I want to go touring again. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see as much of Ireland as possible in a short time.

Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation with Extended Stay in New York City

This tour was great, covering several cities on the Eastern side of the US and Canada with a fun and caring Tour Director. The booking and handling was also very efficient. We went on this tour in October 2015 and had perfect weather for the entire trip, enjoyed New Orleans but as there is so much to do there I would advise adding a few extra days before starting the tour as we did, our visit to Memphis was fantastic as was the included tour of historic RCA Studio B in Nashville, lovely place to unwind and relax in Savannah read more Georgia and we enjoyed our time in Orlando. The level of accommodation was of a good standard as was the pace of the tour. Our tour guide, Peter, was well organised and we had a very capable and safe coach driver, Hector, both making this an enjoyable holiday. Georgie at Global Journeys took care of all the organising and gave competitive rates, I highly recommend going through them to book your holidays as this was our fourth Globus Family holiday we have taken & look forward to our next one, thank you Georgie.

We took this holiday through Texas at the end of September 2015 and had a wonderful time. The tour was well paced and the level of accommodation excellent, especially the Drury Inns in 3 of the cities visited. Our tour director, Patrick, was informative, very organised and professional, accompanied by our very friendly and safe coach driver, Torris, read more both making the tour a pleasure. Loved Dallas and our visit to South Fork Ranch, had a great time in Fort Worth and also along the beautiful riverwalk in San Antonio and a wonderful visit to Houmas House Plantation & Gardens in Louisiana, if you love beautiful gardens this one in not to be missed. Global Journeys & Georgie took care of all the organising and gave very competitive rates for the holiday, this was our third holiday Georgie has arranged for us with the Globus Family of Brands and we look forward to our next one.

We had an amazing tour through America. The pace was fast but we were aware it would be to see so much in such a short time. The tour guide Jason was outstanding as he entertained us throughout the journey. Matt our driver was such a nice person and always joined in on the fun. We saw and experienced so many things it is hard to pick a highlight. From read more big cities to small towns and so many wonderful national parks it will stay in our memories forever. I LOVED this trip.

I thought this tour was good value for the price paid and included plenty of interesting sightseeing. Accommodation ranged from basic to 4 star and breakfasts usually had plenty of choice, having some included dinners was also a cost saver and ranged from mediocre to excellent. Felt that some of the optional excursions were a little overpriced. This read more tour was taken with my husband who is french born but living in Australia and had not seen a lot of his country before moving here and our 26 year old son who also enjoyed it. Would take another trip with this company for the value it gives.

Had a wonderful tour director, Ruben. Visiting Spain with Cosmos was a great experience, we were well looked after and saw some great sights. We stayed in some great locations and were impressed by some of the inclusions and extras. The only negative some of the evening hotel meals were average. (Ed. A great overview of Europe in a few days. Hectic but expected with what was covered during the tour. Well organised - good guides & drivers. Itinerary was well planned & covered many of the main highlights of Europe.
I had a great trip on this tour, saw everything I wanted to see, more time in some places would have been good, but time is always the constraint on these kind of trips. The fact our bus wasn't full was good as well, as it gave every one a bit more room to move about. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in seeing a lot of the USA in a short read more amount of time, but realise you can't see everything, and there is a lot of one night accommodation stops, but it's all good accommodation. It is a long tour and it's tiring but well worth it. My highlights were the National Parks, and the friendly people in the Midwest.

This is our 4th Cosmos Tour and the 3rd that we booked through Global Journeys. Overall our Highlights of Route 66 tour was excellent, sightseeing and places visited were as we hoped. All accommodation was great, especially the Dury Inn and Suites which had complimentary drinks and snacks on arrival and greatly appreciated after a day of coach travel. read more Our tour guide, Beth was a great person who, by the end of our travels became like a friend to us. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited, provided us with loads of facts and details and entertained us with appropriate music and DVDs along the way. Our coach driver David was excellent and we always felt safe with him, he could not have been more obliging and accommodated the ever growing amount of luggage that was accumulated by the 47 passengers he cared for. Our coach was always clean and the onboard WiFi was a bonus. Only negative, we felt some of the optional excursions weren't the best value for money, but at the end of the day, these are optional. Our experience with Global Journeys and Michelle White could not be faulted. Once again our booking, payment process and ticket allocation was seamless. As long as Global Journeys offer tours we are interested in, we will always book with them. (MD. Thanks heaps Janne & Michael!)
I enjoyed the tour very much. I travel as a single and as the others on the tour were very pleasant the trip was great. Matt (our tour director) was very informed and had a long history with Cosmos which made everything go very smoothly. Alistair (the driver) was able to get the coach into spaces most of us would never be able to do, with ease. read more He also kept a clean coach and we all felt safe in his capable hands. One optional in Ireland went a little bit late but was enjoyable just the same. Would have liked more time in Bath as there was so much to see and do. Overall I had an amazing holiday and have already booked another holiday with Cosmos.

Wow!! How good was our trip! Our tour guide Matthew and driver Alistair were the best you could possibly get, so friendly, professional, helpful, could not do enough for us. We loved everything about this Cosmos trip (this was our 5th trip with Cosmos). Cosmos are such a great value company to travel with, their attention too detail is so good. I would read more rate this trip 10 out of 10! We just loved everything about this wonderful trip! (Ed. Perhaps we should change our scales to 10 - glad you enjoyed yourselves :)
The tour took us through England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland and Wales. We were so lucky to get very mild and sunny weather on most days. Our tour director Matt was great fun and was able to share lots of information about every place we visited. The Giants Causeway was one of my favorite places to visit, although there was loads to see. read more Very happy with Cosmos and Georgie at Global Journeys for making this a memorable holiday.

Overall, a great experience. However it was disappointing that many activities were on offer as 'optionals' and therefore required more money! (Ed. That's right, Cosmos are a bit faster paced, offer more free time and/or 'Optionals', compared to their premium Globus brand of coach tours. This is why they are such good value for money. If one is after read more more 'Inclusions' then the Globus brand would be a better match.)

We did not realise that we would see so many mountain passes. Another tour company has country roads tours - well Cosmos surely had 'The Country Roads of the Alps'. It surprised us as to how much we saw. The tour guide, Zsofia Balpap, was excellent. It took a day to fully understand her, but she was everything we wanted/needed. Always happy and smiling, read more always prepared to help with any problems we thought we had. Zsofia was the best guide we have had on 5 Cosmos tours. (our guide in Ireland came very close.) Coach driver Massimo was excellent and provided a lot of support for Zsofia. He worked that extra long bus in very difficult situations. We all felt very safe with him. As a tour it was exceptional in places we visited and value for money. We will recommend it to anyone we hear is travelling to Europe and wants to see the Alps. Thankyou Cosmos, Zsofia and Massimo!
Had an enjoyable time on this tour, the tour guide (Brad) was simply amazing with his knowledge about BC & Albert and commentary during the tour. He was remarkable and made the whole tour very interesting. The driver (Dennis) didn't say a lot but his driving was exceptional. Didn't do many optional tours as we had been travelling for over 3 weeks and read more it was nice to spend time in the cities we visited. Like the Canadian tour we did prior to this tour, we would have preferred to pay a little extra in the cost of the tour to include breakfast in all the hotels we stayed at. A lot of mornings we had to depart early and a provided continental breakfast would have been sufficient. Some of the rooms in the hotels we stayed in, did not provide enough space for two suit cases.

As a family, this tour was very affordable and at a suitable pace. Our Cosmos tour guide, Joost, and driver, Georgio, made an excellent team. We were impressed by the wealth of knowledge by Joost, and the amazing driving skills of Georgio. The tours included were informative and interesting. Some walking is involved, but it added to experience. The read more optional extras tours were lots of fun, and fantastic value for money. We highly recommend this tour.

Delightful! This was our fourth Cosmos tour and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a small group of 31 with 20 being Aussies. We travelled approximately 3,200 kms in 14 days and so the day would start with bags out at 7am and on the bus by 8am. We would normally get to our hotel accommodation around 5pm or later. The standard of the hotels read more exceeded our expectations, but the location of a few were not close to the city. We used public transport or taxis to navigate our way to the city at night time. There is adequate free time to explore on your own and we did our own research in advance to make sure that we did not waste a minute of our holiday. The optional excursions on this tour are the best that we have encountered on all of our Cosmos tours and we recommend all of them. The absolute highlight of this tour was Niagara Falls and the included Hornblower boat trip was just awesome and should not be missed. Other highlights included the Thousand Islands cruise (also included), CN Tower in Toronto (optional), monuments and museums in Washington DC and old Quebec City. We were provided with seven local guides for the different cities and all the guides were locals and knew their city very well. Thank you Cosmos, once again, for such a well organised tour.

Cosmos the operator of this tour delivered a enjoyable all-inclusive experience, it was conducted by an extremely well organized and experienced Tour Director along with an excellent driver. I like the freedom the tour offered giving me plenty of free time to explore my own interests. The accommodation was as expected and represented value for money. read more I would have like to spend more time in some places however my overall experience was very good and i wouldn't hesitate in recommending this tour to others.
