We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The places we visited were excellent, and could not faulty any. Our tour guide Corina was absolutely fabulous, words cannot describe her. She had a lot to put up with on our tour, but she coped extremely well. She deserved a medal! Alain our coach driver for most of the tour was also excellent. He had to back up a read more narrow one way street because a couple of cars were illegally parked, and Corina had to go and direct the traffic so that they would not come down the street. All in all a wonderful trip.

Good tour but some of the hotels were very basic, although that is to be expected in Europe. The tour director was very good and it's great to see free wi-fi on the tour coach.
Tour director Corina Moga was excellent. Her knowledge, sense of humour and expertise made the tour very enjoyable, especially considering there was such a large group. Majority of accommodation was good. Bus driver Alain was also very good. Set meals pretty uninteresting with no menu choices.

France was really different and the weather was great at this time of year.
We had a great time on the tour. Not a thing to complain about. Sue had never been on a coach tour before and she loved every minute of it. Driver and guide were both fantastic.
We were stuck in a very narrow street because a car was parked where it should not have been. Our driver had to back up the street with our guide guiding him. Wow what a read more great job they did. The photo is of the street where we got stuck and had to reverse back the whole street.
Have since been on one more Cosmos tour and have booked another one for September 2018.

I am very happy to have worked again with Michelle White from Global Journeys. This is my second tour with Cosmos and I would rate the tour operator Erol B. not in the same category as the European Shrines Tour. His knowledge of the country was strong, but he didn't have any interest in bringing everyone together at the end of the trip, it was a non-event. read more He would rush people onto the coach, but if someone was say, deliberating on a purchase at the carpet factory, the time to get on the coach was extended. It came across to a number of people that he had a vested interest in getting a commission. He pushed me in the back to go through a turnstyle when I was turning around to get my ticket and he did this to another female passenger when she was getting on the coach, totally inappropriate. The optional tours except for Ephesus were not value for money. The Cappadocia half day tour was far too long and could have been condensed to about 2.5-3 hours.
The optional dinner did not meet expectations about seeing Istanbul's lights at night. I do not think getting in a coach and driving along two streets to the restaurant was at all satisfactory to meet that expectation. The tour guide didn't turn up and sent someone along who did not introduce himself or even talk in the coach. The dinner itself was good but as the dancing got started the tour guide came in and told us we had to go. We did not have any local guides. The accommodation was mixed and while I know this is a low cost tour, it was interesting to hear the tour guide describe it as a budget tour. One of the hotels had this dreadful sewer smell in the rooms (Konya) and I heard this complaint from a other guests on tour. This area was not very nice either. I tipped the tour operator 50 Euros but I did so only on the basis of his knowledge and that he did organise the balloon flight over Cappadocia and a Turkish bath as side tours for a few of us.

Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation

This was a delightful tour commencing in NYC from 4 October. We enjoyed superb autumn colours in picturesque countryside along with the amazing historical cities of Eastern Canada and the USA, without a care in the world. We had the most delightful, organised and patient tour guide in Becky Alexander, a modern comfortable coach and a smooth, good humoured read more driver in Nelson. All hotels were spacious and some were 5 star. Suggestions for improvement are a welcome dinner on the first night to get passengers mixing with each other more quickly, a full day in Montreal, and hotels with refrigerators and a microwave as this is a self catering tour. This is an economical tour which more than delivers value for money.
This tour was wonderful. It was my third with Cosmos. As well as beautiful scenery including the majestic Fall colours, we enjoyed learning about the richness of the local history. Our tour guide, Becky and driver, Nelson were excellent and worked together as a team to provide everything we needed. The local guides were very knowledgeable. The hotels read more were mostly excellent. If they were a little out of the centre of town, Becky and Nelson would arrange for drop offs and pick ups at given times. All hotels had free wifi. My fellow travelers, 40 in all, were from Australia, England, New Zealand, US, Israel and Malaysia.

The tour director was excellent. Very organised and gave us excellent preparation and managed our expectations throughout our journey. Local guides were mixed. Some were outstanding In Stockholm, Tallin and Berlin but a couple could have been more engaging and inspiring particularly in Russia and Poland. There was a good mix of free time with tours read more and we were surprised with the quality of the hotels. Overall we had a great time and got a great overview of the countries we visited. Hannah at Global Journeys did a great job prior to leaving for Europe in making sure we had all the information we needed for visas and for packing.

Holy Land Discovery with Jordan (Catholic Itinerary)

This was a well organized tour, which included visits to a large number of interesting places. It was divided into two parts, 7 days in Israel and 5 days in Jordan. Our guides, Rafi in Israel and Sami in Jordan were very knowledgeable and informes us constantly, not only about the places visited, but about daily life in their countries. They also read more looked after us very well. Hotels were more like those expected on a premium trip. As these countries are compact we spent less time on the bus and more time exploring the sites. All the details of this tour were well organized by Georgie at Global Journeys.
This was the highlight of our overseas trip. A great way to see Switzerland - by train. Very well organized. Excellent Tour Guide. Hotels were good close to railway stations. Luggage looked after meeting us at each hotel when we arrived from trains. Because there were only 17 in our party it was a great atmosphere and interaction between us as travellers. read more Tomas our guide even organized incredibly wonderful weather! I would recommend this tour to everyone. Well done Cosmos!
We had an excellent tour guide for our New England Fall experience. John was so informative and new all about the history of the six New England States having resided in Boston. We found this tour very leisurely with plenty of time to wander around the villages. It was also great that the coach could go off the highways and go through the small towns. read more Also Barry our coach driver was very efficient and courteous. We could not fault the lovely hotels we stayed in fantastic beds!! We will certainly be taking another Cosmos tour in the future to the west coast of USA again.

The Best of Europe

We were extremely happy with our tour as we have been previously with our last 2 Cosmos tours. We loved our tour guide Iris. She was the best guide we have ever had, extremely knowledgeable, very patient in sometimes testing times, funny, helpful and generally terrific, we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much Iris, you really made our holiday read more special. We were very happy with all our accommodation. We got to see so many places, travelled a long way making our trip once in a lifetime experience. We have done and will continue to recommend Cosmos tours to others and if we decide to do another trip in the future will first look to see if Cosmos can accommodate where we would like to go. Thank you Cosmos :) The only negative comment I would make is that it was extremely expensive to do the Optional excursions, which added quite a bit extra to our trip, but after seeing how expensive it is in Europe I can understand.

It was very knowledgeable experience to the culture and the real life of Japan. I would suggest to take with you a reusable bag to reduce the usage of the plastics bags.
It was a wonderful trip. In places like the Grand Canyon would be great to have an extra day at least. Maybe find a better hotel in Las Vegas, specially when people arrive a day before the tour starts. Great experience overall.
This was our first tour with Cosmos and we have found them to be great, I'm thinking it's value for money. Despite the hotels sometimes are not right in the city, we had access to the cities and we stayed in smaller towns on the outskirts which suited me fine. Because we were always given time in the city to explore as well as city tours. I believe read more Cosmos gives the best of both worlds a chance to see the city but also to enjoy the feel of little towns. I would recommend this tour to friends and family.
I thought that tour was good value, excellent tour staff. The long distances needed to be covered to be able to see the most fantastic scenery. Autumn was a perfect time with mix of colors in the mountains. Thought tour could also have started in Oslo. I had a great time and looking to see where I will venture next.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Spain and Portugal. From the booking process right to the actual tour, everything has been a breeze. Our only complaint was the hotel in Lisbon, Portugal. Customer service was lacking and front desk staff was very rude.

This was the first tour that I had taken as a 'Single' and I was satisfied with all the arrangements of the tour. Our Tour Leader, Randy, was very professional manner but was friendly and very helpful in suggesting things that would suit me. Our coach driver JR Junior - was a total gentleman all the trip. I found the group of people on my trip amazing read more whether they were singles or couples. We had laughs everyday and I will miss their company. Just enough to keep us on our toes without being worn out. I was good having option nights for those that just wanted a quite one. Now that I have done this I will definitely look at doing another one in the near future without any hesitation.
Thank you so much Michelle for your efforts on my behalf with travel arrangements for my 'Eastern US and Canada Grand Vacation' tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was extremely well organised with a wonderful Tour Director (Brett Shingledecker) and driver (Roger). Although the Autumn colours were not as colourful as we had hoped (due to read more the longer period of warmer weather), the amount of scenic beauty, American history and fabulous local guides made it just as exciting. I truly hope to manage another Global Journey with your company soon. It all went so smoothly and fortunately the group on the tour were all lovely!
