This is a very good US Tour, We did it as a way of getting a "feel" for the American Way. Our Driver was exceptional in his driving ability and local knowledge for the whole trip Chicago to LA. Likewise our tour guide/director. With a big group of people, in our case around forty six passengers it's hard to please everyone all the time, but both these read more guys did an excellent job. The trip certainly gave us the Route66 experience plus the added features of the Grand Canyon and Los Vegas were scene setting for us.
The add on tours that were offered were generally good value and catered for different tastes and budgets. Only one concern/disappointment for us and many other folk on the tour was the very long "free" time at the Grand Canyon, after we had been shown the highlights, we had to endure nearly four hours waiting for the Coach to return from other duties to pick us up. We recommend that the gratitudes/tips for driver & tour director be prepaid before leaving, in our case Australia, that would be much more cost effective than running the tipping gauntlet/con in the US while on tour.

Our booking from start to finish was handled perfectly, our questions were answered promptly and everything was done for us. Thank you Madeleine (and Michelle) for all your help leading up to our holiday and for creating our stress free holiday.
The tour was fantastic, I would definitely recommend Cosmos for anyone travelling. Our tour director Truss read more was wonderful, she made the trip more enjoyable with her knowledgeable and amusing commentary. The places we visited were amazing, we ticked so many experiences off our bucket list! Riding the cable car up Mt Titlis in Switzerland and seeing snow for the first time, riding a gondola in Venice, walking up the Champs Elysee, swimming in the sea on the Greek islands. It was a very fast paced tour but we saw so many wonderful places in the 29 days. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. (Ed. Itinerary amended slightly and name changed from European Masterpiece to All About Europe in 2019)

The Cosmos tour was excellent. Good hotels in good locations. Excellent beds making for sound sleep. The tour was well planned and executed. Our tour director Mark Love made each day effortless. He provided very useful and interesting information about the history and geography of the areas we were seeing. The scenery was fantastic. This particular read more tour takes you on a different approach to the Rockies and we would highly recommend it. There are 2 days that are long, so be prepared and read the itinerary. If your up for it then you will be rewarded with spectacular sights and vistas.

I would recommend to all who would want to see beautiful scenery, experience the two great states of Canada and Alaska. There could have been some slight improvements eg. breakfasts offered. Another day around Jasper & the Rockies. More access/options with coach /guides on free time to see more. What a magnificent experience.
We had an amazing experience on this our back to back tour. Once again we cannot fault the efficiency of our agent Jemma Rosen at Global Journeys, she was very pleasant and prompt with our booking. We would highly recommend Jemma and Global Journeys to everyone. Great trip thanks for organizing everything. Everything went like clockwork, not one hicth. Tour director (Gavin) was superb and the coach driver (Clive) was brilliant the way he drove the coach on some of those up country roads. Thanks a lot.

The Baltics & Scandinavia trip was very good. Warsaw, the Baltic countries & Russia are amazing. The old town centres are picture postcard. We spent time in Scandinavia before & after the tour. It is a beautiful part of the world. Our tour had 42 people which was quite large. Would have been nice to have a few less as meeting so many new faces took read more time. Our tour guide had her hands full with such a large group. She worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of activities & extra visits. Meeting new people was a real highlight though as we have normally traveled by ourselves. Their were some seasoned travelers (some had done 3,4 or 5 cosmos tours before). Overall a great trip.
Some days there was a lot of driving & because of health & safety you were unable to move about the coach.Their was a toilet on board (it was tiny). We were discouraged from using it. Don't think it was ever used. Our courier fitted in as many comfort stops as possible.
It would have been nice to have an extra day in a few places but we new the itinerary before we left. 16 days was probably long enough for the tour as it was fairly full on. Some early starts. There are extra activities (and extra costs) such as visits to castles evening meals out. They do add up so do your sums (some are quite expensive & probably in hindsight not good value for money).

Had a great time on this trip especially seeing Bryce Canyon, Zion and Yellowstone. Enjoyed meeting a lot of new people from other countries. Accommodation was generally good and our coach was very comfortable. Most of the optional excursions were worth the extra money but found the Snake River Float way too long and expensive. We found Global Journeys read more very easy to deal with, as we booked this trip very late and nothing was too much trouble.

A really well planned trip by Cosmos. Tour guide and especially driver were really friendly and smart enough to arrange special additional stops if we were doing good time. And what really stuck out for me was the quality of people Cosmos attracted. Really lovely people that had travelled Cosmos before. As you know there's nothing worse than travelling with awful people!
The 14 day Cosmos tour of the National Parks and Canyon Country in the U.S was amazing. I enjoyed all the sites that we visited. I would have preferred to spend more time within nature at the parks and places of interest rather than move on so quickly. Time spent in nature would have been more restorative and perhaps given more opportunity to observe read more wildlife. The allocated time at some places of interest was too short to take in/or see all that was on offer e.g Buffalo bill Museum at Cody.
Overall an amazing trip and offered all that was promised. The optional excursions were all a treat and thoroughly enjoyable. The coach and bus driver were excellent. The accommodation was excellent - probably exceeded my expectations.
I found the tour guide O.K. There was an incident involving other guests which impacted other members of the group. I feel that the tour guide could have managed this situation in a more timely and assertive manner. Also, the return flight (Las Vegas-Los Angeles) was delayed which meant staying in los Angeles another night. This complicated the travel back home. Overall a great trip. I would like to do it again....and spend some extra time!

I had an amazing time. The tour director and coach driver were excellent. Really enjoyed this holiday. This was my second trip with Cosmos and both trips have been more than expected. Madeline at Global Journeys has been wonderful to me. I am not good with computers and she helped me out. Just checking out next years holiday! I'm sure it will be as great as the last two.

The tour saved us so much stress, it was perfect and we loved the history of all countries. There was nothing that wasn't fabulous about the tour.
I would recommend this trip for anyone wanting to get a real feel for Ireland. I travelled with my 84 year old mother and found this trip accommodated every age group from the young to the old.

This tour was very good. The first four days were long but we saw a lot. The days crossing the Russian border were long due to delays of 3 & 4 hours at the border. Accommodation and included meals were very good. The tour leader was helpful and informative. Overall the tour exceeded my expectations but it would have been good to spend another day in Stockholm.

As in life, our travel experiences in this tour will be different for everyone and you make the best of it. We were fortunate that "making the best" out of our tour was made easier by our highly efficient and hard-working tour director Ausra. She has done her best and more to make sure that everyone was kept happy and all issues sorted out...not an read more easy feat for such a big group like ours. Thumbs up to Ausra- my "dream" tour guide. How Darius (our driver) managed to maneuver on all those narrow streets and alleyways in Berlin to avoid traffic was an experience in itself...nail-biting. Overall, I had ball with this tour and with my tour buddies...highly recommended. Special thanks to Yvonne for organising and making this trip a reality for me.

We all had such an amazing tour. We enjoyed every aspect. We took advantage of the optional tours but not the dinners and live shows ..which allowed us the evenings to relax. It is very difficult to decide on any highlights , but probably our tour guide, the optional tour of Toledo and the included tour of the Alhambra Complex stand out for us.
We read more did enjoy having free time in most cities we visited, and always our tour guide would go over possible places we might like to visit, places to eat and shop, and how to get to and from our accommodation. He also gave us his phone number and assured us help was only and phone call away if we needed it. Fortunately, we never had to but it did reassure us. Our tour guide was amazing , called Angel, his knowledge, humour and care for everyone on the tour really bound our group together.
It was a hot time of the year to travel but we did manage and it was lovely to have the tour bus always ready to pick us up at the appropriate times , with the air conditioning switched on. I cannot recommend this tour enough... thank you to Global Journeys for the bookings, nothing was a problem.

We had a wonderful time with an excellent guide and a very good bus driver. A small group namely only 18 people on a large coach so had plenty of room to spread out and it also made for quick stops for viewing sights or photographing sites.
