Excellent coach tour as per usual. 5 The Canadian Rockies , New Zealand, Aug 2017
Excellent coach tour as per usual. Very informative and friendly tour director along with the coach driver. Highly recommend as a way to get and see everything. We had a fantastic group on our coach and everyone got along.
Leanne was very helpful in organising things for us and kept in touch right up to the beginning of the trip and immediately after.
Worry free trip and an excellent tour experience 3 Irish Discovery , New Zealand, Aug 2017
A trip so wonderful and the Tour was excellent the accommodation was totally out of the world with breakfast an excellent day to start with the tour guide and driver well informed and we had a very lovely time tour excursion was well worth and not to be missed.
Well organised 3 Heart of the Canadian Rockies with Alaska Cruise , WA, Australia, Aug 2017
Professional operators and paced well for the time away. Great scenery and plenty of time to enjoy. Would have preferred to have breakfast included though.
The trip of a lifetime. 9 The British Isles in Depth , New Zealand, Aug 2017
I have had a wonderful holiday with a very nice group of people - 41 on my tour and all got along well. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a good overview of the UK to establish your favourite places to return to. It was hard leaving some places as they were so amazing. I tacked on an extra 8 days and explored London a bit more and read more that was excellent.

Our Tour Director was very helpful and a lot of fun. The coach was very modern but the seat belts were uncomfortable and cut across my neck. They were also hard to do up so I did not bother most of the time. I would most definitely do another tour with Globus - hopefully next year or 2019. Thanks for making it all so easy and hassle free.
Fabulous British Isles In Depth 10 The British Isles in Depth , NSW, Australia, Aug 2017
Best weather, great trip, so much to see and do. Very knowledgeable and helpful tour director Nicki. Good overview to return and see again at our pace like 2months not 24 days. Very friendly crew of travellers, many enjoyable memories, highly recommend global journeys and many thanks to Yvonne for everything. Some accommodation a little cramped, 2 meals read more below par, everything else was fine for us.
Coast to Coast Experience 7 Trans-American Adventure , New Zealand, Aug 2017
Very much enjoyed this tour. Reasonably priced, excellent tour guide, comfy coach and great driver. Accommodation was largely better than expected. Got to see so much of the states, including the great cities of New York and Chicago, and the wonderful rural areas of South Dakota, Yellowstone Park, Grand Canyon, Zion National Park and the Hoover Dam. read more A lovely experience that we would certainly recommend to others.
England, Scotland and Wales - what not to love? 10 England, Scotland & Wales , WA, Australia, Aug 2017
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and had a fantastic time. It's easy to say now that I wished we'd had more time in most cities visited, but to be fair, you don't know that until you visit them. The UK is truly beautiful and unique, I just loved it. London, York, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff were my favourites but every stop was amazing. We really read more got to see as much as we could given the time we had.

Michael our guide was excellent. His knowledge was amazing and his sense of humour kept us entertained. Dereck our driver was great too, always very helpful and courteous (Guides and Drivers do many little things along the way to make your holiday easy and it is very much appreciated). The accommodation was really good and included meals outstanding (except one). I went on all optional excursions, except London as I had been before. They were all worth while and reasonably priced and I'm glad I did them. The meals on the optionals were outstanding too. Our coach was quite full but everyone got on really well. It's lovely to meet people from all over the world and share this experience.

Thanks again to Jemma, my Lady on the inside at Global Journeys. This site is my 'one stop shop' to research and compare my holidays and Jemma is always quick to respond to questions and make suggestions along the way making holiday plans so easy. Well done Jemma and thank you.
Traveling with Cosmos great value for money. 10 The British Isles in Depth , NSW, Australia, Aug 2017
This was my 4th Cosmos tour and value for money they offer is great. People on tour were all Aussies except 4 kiwis and were great too. Coach driver Ian was a fantastic driver and Rosalie was outstanding in taking care of us. My first tour was more than 20 yrs ago and I am still very impressed with them and would not travel with anyone else.
Worry free holiday and a wonderful time through Italy   4 Italy's Best , VIC, Australia, Aug 2017
Italy's best was a wonderful taste of all the places you would like to return for longer stays. The tour guide was great and everyone on the tour got on well together. A couple of the hotels weren't the best. I would like to thank Georgie for a wonderful job organising everything. It was all done smoothly and all documents were received on time. I read more would definitely use Global Journeys again.
Mother - Daughter trip to Italy 11 Italy's Best , VIC, Australia, Aug 2017
My mother and I went on our first trip overseas together and we decided to book with Cosmos and tour Italy. My mother had used Cosmos before but this was my first time.

The tour was Italy's Best and it was an amazing tour. I had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, GianLuca and our bus driver Antonio were amazing and full of knowledge. They had to cater read more to our needs several times as we are vegetarian and we found that it was a bit difficult to get vegetarian meals in Italy. We both found it a bit frustrating with our dietary requirements and we were offered meat a couple of times. So if you are a vegetarian you may struggle a bit with some meals.

I found the excursion to Pompeii/Sorento was very rushed, we visited Pompeii in the morning - Pompeii is amazing but its a full on day. This gave us very little time - 3 hours in total - in Sorento and I was lead to believe we would be staying in Sorento but we weren't. I found a lot of the hotel accommodation was very far from the city centres, so if you weren't doing the optional excursions you were at the hotel - and most of them had little to do around them.

I personally found some excursions were pretty rushed and there wasn't enough free time - unless you chose to not do the excursions, but you want to visit all the famous landmarks while you are there!. The weather was extremely hot and some of the hotels that were chosen didn't have proper working air conditioning either so that made it a bit hard to sleep some nights. I have too many highlights to mention! I really did have an amazing time and made some wonderful memories.
Great Tour, Great Driver and Great Guide   10 Irish Discovery , VIC, Australia, Aug 2017
Normally an independent traveller, this was my first guided tour ever. I am in my 50's and originally booked this trip with my mother. In the end I was a solo traveller. The group was varied in age and diversity. For the most part it was majority of travellers from the USA, then followed up by Australians, Canadians, New Zealanders. We had a few teenagers read more travelling with family all the way to senior couples. The group was good and the coach seat rotation was an excellent way to be near different people and get to know others in the group.

Jeff, our guide was interesting, often random and unexpected which just added to his appeal. Our driver - excellent. I never felt anything but in safe hands. The tour was rated as budget but our accommodation was always comfortable and in good locations. Whilst we were booked for specific sights and tours, where time allowed, there were other sights we got to see. The onboard WiFi was a bonus.
Italy dream come true   1 Italy's Best , VIC, Australia, Aug 2017
I got to see everything I wanted to see and lots I did not know I would want to see, that is the glory of using a tour to see a country, a great experience visiting so many famous places with a great group of fellow travelers under the guidance of a great guide. Unforgettable memories that I now carry with me and regularly reminisce.
A great tour at read more an affordable price that has given us the adventure of a lifetime.
Switzerland by train 11 Scenic Switzerland by Train , NSW, Australia, Aug 2017
Exceeded my expectations. Whilst we were on the move a lot the trains were comfortable. Accommodation was first class and the included meals were excellent. Flo,the tour director was the best I have had in 12 tours.
Rocky Mountains and Cruise to Alaska 5 The Canadian Rockies with Alaska Cruise , NSW, Australia, Aug 2017
The Global Journeys booking process was great. The cruise to Alaska was very good but the ship was a bit too small to offer enough on-board activities. it will always be a good idea to check the average weather situation for any of the ports of call. We learned after the event, that one visited port was referred to as the 'rain capital of Alaska' (for read more good reason).

The land based part of the trip saw large portions of each day devoted to sitting in the coach. There will never be enough time for multiple excursions when the coach arrives in town at, say, 4 pm with departure the next day at 8 am (some days were earlier). There were a couple of very poor hotels with sub standard rooms.
Lovely trip 7 The British Isles in Depth , QLD, Australia, Aug 2017
Having done a Cosmos tour previously and loved it, we were hoping this tour would live up to the first. It certainly did, we loved everything about it. The guide and driver were wonderful, our tour guide (Tom) was extremely professional and his knowledge was amazing. The hotels were mostly brilliant, a couple were just satisfactory but I have no complaints read more about anything. Loved it from start to finish.
A taste of the National Parks and cities in the West. 5 Western Wonders , SA, Australia, Aug 2017
Yosemite and Grand Canyon were the highlight of the tour for us, having previously enjoyed the Trans America NY to LA tour and the Bryce Canyon, Zion, South side of Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. The hotels were good and the pace of the tour perfect. Our Tour Director was excellent. He was passionate about nature and shared his knowledge at every opportunity. read more The bus was very comfortable and our driver was excellent. They were a great team, always cheerful, friendly and willing to oblige.
Finland and Norway 1 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2017
I really didn't like the Finland part of the tour, as it consisted of long days on the coach to get where we were going and what we got to see really wasn't that interesting in my opinion. The Norway part of the tour was good and loved the scenery. I have travelled with this company previously and liked them, but I did think that this tour was overcrowded read more and not a particularly good mix of people.
USA & Canada 5 Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation , QLD, Australia, Jul 2017
The tour was good as stated but the disappointments were the Skyline Hotel was poor compared with others stayed in. Only the last hotel we stayed in supplied breakfast so always going out to find some place to get food either the night before or early before leaving, a lot of people mentioned this as it added to the cost of the tour also no evening read more meals included so again added to the cost.

The optional excursion in Boston of harbour cruise and lobster dinner, the cruise was good but no one we spoke to thought the meal was good in fact terrible was the most common term used. The dessert was an afterthought of slicing a chocolate cake in half horizontally and put on plate so some had icing on top whilst others didn't and the cake wasn't cooked properly. Recommend taking this off the options. Of all the Cosmos tours we have taken this is the only one not including breakfasts (except one) or dinners, why? This significantly increases the tour cost, we would happily pay extra to have included save having to hunt around for shops for food.
Best holiday ever 5 , WA, Australia, Jul 2017
We had the best holiday ever on this magnificent All About Europe tour (previously named European Masterpiece). It was so well organised, we didn't have to worry about anything. Our tour director Truss was so well organised and had a great sense of humour. Our driver Flavio was such a wonderful driver, we all felt so safe in that big coach. So we read more would recommend this tour to anyone that has not been to Europe and wants to see so much in 29 days. Places that we would not have seen had we travelled by ourselves. The cost of the tour was very good compared to other companies and what was included. Well worth doing. (Ed. Itinerary amended slightly in 2019)
Kicks on Route 66 16 Highlights of Route 66 , WA, Australia, Jul 2017
This is a very good US Tour, We did it as a way of getting a "feel" for the American Way. Our Driver was exceptional in his driving ability and local knowledge for the whole trip Chicago to LA. Likewise our tour guide/director. With a big group of people, in our case around forty six passengers it's hard to please everyone all the time, but both these read more guys did an excellent job. The trip certainly gave us the Route66 experience plus the added features of the Grand Canyon and Los Vegas were scene setting for us.

The add on tours that were offered were generally good value and catered for different tastes and budgets. Only one concern/disappointment for us and many other folk on the tour was the very long "free" time at the Grand Canyon, after we had been shown the highlights, we had to endure nearly four hours waiting for the Coach to return from other duties to pick us up. We recommend that the gratitudes/tips for driver & tour director be prepaid before leaving, in our case Australia, that would be much more cost effective than running the tipping gauntlet/con in the US while on tour.
