Value for money coach trip. We traversed some 4600 miles across the USA from New York to Los Angeles. There were 49 guests on board the coach. The coach driver (Dennis) was excellent. The tour director was knowledgeable and cheerful. Hotels were generally of a high quality but some were not centrally located. There were several long days on the coach read more but this was offset by the many wonderful sites we visited. Highlights for me included Niagra Falls, The Smithsonian museums, Mount Rushmore and Chicago, Make sure to take your camera on this trip!

Amazing holiday, great sights, Tour Director Todd was very good. Met some good people and good value for money. Our third Cosmos Tour now. Highly recommended.

We had a great trip, it exceeded our expectations, I didn't expect to see and do so much. I would recommend this trip to anyone who would like to see such a vast and diverse area of the USA. We also had an excellent tour director Jason and ever smiling and safe driver Matt. Thanking you.

We had an amazing tour through America. The pace was fast but we were aware it would be to see so much in such a short time. The tour guide Jason was outstanding as he entertained us throughout the journey. Matt our driver was such a nice person and always joined in on the fun. We saw and experienced so many things it is hard to pick a highlight. From read more big cities to small towns and so many wonderful national parks it will stay in our memories forever. I LOVED this trip.

I had a great trip on this tour, saw everything I wanted to see, more time in some places would have been good, but time is always the constraint on these kind of trips. The fact our bus wasn't full was good as well, as it gave every one a bit more room to move about. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in seeing a lot of the USA in a short read more amount of time, but realise you can't see everything, and there is a lot of one night accommodation stops, but it's all good accommodation. It is a long tour and it's tiring but well worth it. My highlights were the National Parks, and the friendly people in the Midwest.

Cosmos the operator of this tour delivered a enjoyable all-inclusive experience, it was conducted by an extremely well organized and experienced Tour Director along with an excellent driver. I like the freedom the tour offered giving me plenty of free time to explore my own interests. The accommodation was as expected and represented value for money. read more I would have like to spend more time in some places however my overall experience was very good and i wouldn't hesitate in recommending this tour to others.

Our online booking was perfect, with Michelle, organizing our documents to be mailed early to accommodation our departure for pre tour travel. Thank you Michelle! Our 23 day tour New York to Los Angeles, was extremely comfortable, in a brand new coach, driven by Mike, who was always cheerful and friendly, never seeming to tire of loading and unloading, read more our ever increasing luggage. Tour Director, Doris provided everything from postage stamps to shopping and dining tips. We received excellent tour information, and videos of our destinations, along with games and competitions. The tour content was excellent... we especially enjoyed the National Parks. Thank you to a great team!

Emily Cran at Global Journeys had all my questions answered and travel documents arrived to me at a timely manner. Todd Asperger is an excellent Tour Director. He ensures everyone is treated fairly and happy. He is also a problem solver that puts everyone at ease. Craig is our very safe driver. He gave us the peace-of-mind with his excellent driving. read more Eddy (our New York local guide) and Marsha (our Arlington local guide) have wealth of knowledge in their fields. The whole trip is just amazing with plenty of free-time for me to do my own exploration. Some optional excursions are expensive. I would choose Cosmos again for my future travels.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The trip covered vast distance and some great locations and cities. It's definitely value for money. The group size of 39 and all friendly people made the trip truly enjoyable. On top of that we had a fantastic tour director named Todd who was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. Overall the trip was fabulous - well planned and well timed. There were a few places we would have liked to spend more time, but guess it is hard to please everyone. The accommodation was good, with the exception of the two log cabins, that were far too small for the luggage for two people and the bathrooms were very small and pokey. We nearly froze read more overnight in the one at the Grand Canyon. Some of the hotels were generous with their personal products (shampoo, body lotion etc) while others were a bit stingy. We were left envelopes for tipping in a couple of the hotels, and were later told by our tour director that this was not necessary as all tipping was included. Not a big issue though, as it was only a couple. Our Tour Director was fantastic. He has obviously done his research and was able to present information on each location, as well as points of interest along the route, in a very informative and entertaining manner. He was patient, considerate and went out of his way to please everyone.

The driver of the coach was also fantastic. He was an excellent driver and very accommodating at all times. The coach was immaculately presented and cleaned every day to a high standard. Unfortunately, it took a while for the group (50) to gel - a suggestion would be to have a get-together on the first evening, and if every breakfast (or more dinners) were included, it would help to break the ice. Unfortunately, people split up and went their own way for the non-included meals. The group were a fun lot, comprised mainly of Australians plus some from UK and NZ. Our Tour Director organised a group pizza night at the Grand Canyon, which went over extremely well and set the pace for the rest of the tour. The highlight of the trip, regarding meals, was dinner at the John Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake City. Top class venue and excellent meal - despite not being able to have a wine (or 3) and coffee! LOL On the whole, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip and I would certainly recommend it to anyone contemplating a trip to USA. Thanks for your organisation, Emily.

We had a wonderful time. Our Tour guide, Doris, was wonderful, helpful, informative & made sure we never got bored on the coach. The bus Driver, Wayne was a fantastic, excellent Driver. Looking forwards to planning our next trip.

Trip highlight was the Grand Canyon. absolutely marvellous. One of the best things about this trip was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. Would recommend this trip to friends as as ages were catered for.

The transfer from JFK Airport to the hotel in NY resulted in a wait of almost an hour. A taxi would not have been much more expensive for two of us (as the taxi fare is a fixed price) and would have been quicker and more convenient, particularly after such a long flight from Australia. We would not recommend that anyone going on this tour pay for read more this tardy transfer. One participant on our tour was in a wheelchair and but for the efforts of the tour guide, the willing cooperation of the wheelchair participant and the fact it was a small group, this could have, but did not, adversely impact on other members. As this was "an on the go tour" it was surprising that it was sold to someone who could not fully participate. All credit should be given to Jim Ryan, our ever helpful guide, who made it work for everyone on board.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Trans-American 'adventure' ; good mix of big cities, small country towns and national parks. An excellent Tour Director (Todd) and coach driver (George) made this one of our best Cosmos vacations. Hotel accommodations were clean, comfortable and centrally located - even the 'rustic' cabins for our overnight stays in the parks read more exceeded expectations. Most optional excursions were enjoyable and well priced, though a bit more variety in some locations would be be preferred. Would definitely recommend this tour to others and plan to use Cosmos again in the near future.

We had an amazing time on this tour and would recommend this tour to everyone, we would and will book more Cosmos tours. Booking this holiday though Global Journeys was so easy and stress free, Emily was so good, nothing was to much trouble.

Our tour director Scott Dworkin and driver John were both very professional, courteous and informative. They both made our holiday with Cosmos fabulous. We really enjoyed the tour. Could of spent some extra days at some places but that would of made the tour quite long. Coach was always clean and accommodation was always clean with comfy bed and hot read more showers. We have taken away some wonderful memories and made some life long friends. Highly recommend this tour.

Tour director and driver very good. Some long days. The perfect holiday. Accomodation was great. The highlights were Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park.

Two hotels, one in New York and the other at Ontario weren't good compared to other accommodations. Ontario accommodation should be within walking distance of the falls. Breakfast should be included even if that requires an additional amount on the tour price. There wasn't tea making facility at the hotels. In the coffee machine that was provided in read more the hotels either you don't get water hot enough for a good cup of tea or it would be smelly. Something needs to be done for the tea lovers. Apart from the above comments, it was very well executed and enjoyable tour.

First time I have ever booked holiday online, but very pleased with the email communication and everything went like clockwork. An enjoyable experience and great value for money. Will consider future bookings with Global Journeys.

Overall, the tour was excellent value for money. Some days were very long because of the distances but that was to be expected. Accommodation was generally very good - some not as good as others but all were clean. Two of the optional tours should be taken off the list. The farewell dinner at Bubba Gumps at Santa Monica was appalling - a blatant rip read more off and the night river cruise in Minneapolis was a waste of time and money. We expected to see lights of buildings on the banks of the river but we sailed where there were no lights - it was pitch black and saw nothing. Other than that, the other optional tours were generally very good.
