Once again, thank you very much Yvonne for your attention to our trip. We went, knowing that we were in for a great & exciting time. Wonderful memories.

This was a wonderful trip which included all that could be expected to be seen in such a vast continent during one month. The time spent at each destination was good, the tour guide couldn't be faulted, his organisational skills were excellent and I'm extremely pleased with it overall. Our tour guides throughout the APT tour were excellent and Tung our tour and cruise director did an excellent job making everything run very smoothly. All our accommodation was first class as was the beautiful food. I would have preferred a smaller tour group as it grew from forty six in Hanoi to over a hundred once we arrived in Saigon, however having ...read more said that the organisation went so smoothly, it really wasn't a problem. This is our second time we have booked with Global journeys with Georgie and I would definitely book through them again as the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.

The cruise down the European rivers with APT was sheer luxury. The visit to towns and cities each day added to the grandeur of the tour. It is definitely a relaxing way to enjoy a holiday, having everything prepared and planned, with the added bonus of only having to unpack/pack once in the 2 weeks. Tasting the wines of each different region at dinner almost converted me from being a confirmed beer only drinker. Thanks to Hannah at Global Journeys for organising a worryless vacation.

Could not fault the ship or the crew but Wi-Fi very slow, even when available. Staff at Global Journeys very helpful.

The Hotels were excellent but the 'Porthole Cabin' on the Ama Lotus left a lot to be desired. The air conditioner did not work at all well and when we switched off the bathroom extractor fan to try and keep some cool air in the cabin we then had to put up with the smell of drains. The lounge was good as was the dining room The food while not exciting ...read more was plentiful and well cooked. The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. While in Hanoi we were taken to see pots being made and also to throw our own pots as a souvenir. When we arrived there we found that there was no one working so (a) we did not see pots being made and (b) we did not get to try our hand at pot throwing. I was disappointed not to get a bike ride apparently because the roads were under repair. We were not told this until we arrived in Hanoi (very disappointing) The bike ride I did around Hoi An was excellent.

We had a wonderful journey. Definitely the best way to visit Cambodia. All staff were exceptional and the food delicious. The tours were great with absolutely beautiful experiences with knowledgeable and very helpful guides. Vietnam is a fabulous country with such good people. We loved every minute of our trip.

The entire trip from beginning to end was a fantastic experience. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves, which we certainly did. Both the tour guide and coach driver were very easy to get along with and their knowledge of the area had us listening intently, which made the trip even more interesting. I had a wonderful 12 days tour around Tasmania with APT. I am satisfied with all the arrangements by APT. Our tour guide Sandy was kind, caring, all-rounded and well educated. She could tell us many things about Australia and Tasmania. APT also have their own luxury coach which made me comfortable during travel.

The Tour Director and all the local guides were excellent and made our trip one to remember. Booking with Global Journeys was so easy and efficient.

The cruise guide was not as helpful as I expected. She completed the tasks required but was often short and impatient when people had questions or were unsure about directions. She often sent shore excursions off early. She needs to remember that 8.30 is 8.30 not 8.20 or 8.25. There was not enough free time in the larger cities.

Just wish we had a little more time in Paris. The Effiel tower was rushed, couldn't even stop at the gift shop or go to the top floor without missing the coach. Same with the Moulin Rouge, no time to stop at gift shop, very very very squishy in seating, bad seats, couldn't see the show properly. Ended up having sore back and neck. Need to be higher ...read more seating and would have been nice to choose what we had to eat. Overall, we had an enjoyable trip, but the older passengers need to be prepared for 'younger passengers' who come aboard without any prejudice. Loved Germany and Vienna, absolutely beautiful. All in all the organisation of this cruise was impressive. The staff were friendly, thoughtful and proactive. The standard of accommodation and meals was high. The off boat excursions were always interesting and on the whole not the sort of things which could be accomplished on a self organised tour. The guides, especially the guide in Cambodia (Minau), ...read more were helpful and informative. Well done all. I do have a quibble over the advertising. The brochure and initial tour schedule listed the cruise as passing through Lake Tonle Sap. This was amended just prior to us leaving Australia because of bridge work over the Tonle river. While we did in the end cruise on Lake Tonle Sap, comments from the staff indicated that no APT cruise had been through the lake since sometime in 2013; the principal reason being that the water levels were too low. This being the case, it is somewhat misleading of APT to include the lake in the cruise brochure without some reference to the likelihood of this part of the cruise having to be amended and substituted with a 5 hour coach journey. We were lucky. Our AmaLotus cruise was the first to go through the lake for over a year and was to be the last until the lake fills during the 2015 rainy season. Other cruises for the next seven months or so will not include the lake. I believe your clients should informed of this prior to booking confirmation.

One of our best holidays ever and would highly recommend this venture to others. We thoroughly enjoyed each day to the fullest. Only setback was me catching Bronchitis on the last day which has had me bed ridden for the last week. Until next time!

Despite a disruption due to flooding, the alternative arrangements were very satisfactory. APT did their best to ensure that everyone's further travel plans were accommodated.

This was an absolutely 'never to be forgotten' experience. On the M S Amabella, the Captain, the Cruise Director, Roland Noordermeer and all the crew were really helpful. I can't speak highly enough of Roland's efficiency, hard work and thoughtfulness towards us. There were a number of people in wheel chairs (4), on wheelie walkers and walking sticks, and although there was a 'Gentle Walker's Group', for those on sticks, it would have been good to have some sitting down places, maybe while the guide talked about the next thing to see. That is my only adverse comment. Well done APT!

Late October is a fantastic time to do Magnificent Europe. The Autumn foliage was breathtaking throughout the entire cruise. It was just as the brochures said it would be. We were very well looked after from the moment we landed until we departed, the staff could not do enough and were always cheerful and positive. It was a great experience and we would do it all again. Thanks to all involved.

Loved every moment of the cruise. The staff and crew were fabulous, the organisation of the activities impeccable, the food amazing!
