British Columbia and Alaska cruise Linda, WA, Australia, Jun 2025
It was as a great tour of B C. The tour leader Brad couldn’t have been better. He was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and kind. Our bus driver Dave was an excellent, safe driver which was needed on the many hair-pin bends or roads with precipitous drops! Some lunch stops were in service areas so the food options together with the scenery or shade ...read more were limited. Accommodation was comfortable with the highlight being in Victoria on Vancouver Island at the Royal Scot hotel. The hotel in Kolawan was in an area distant from the main attractions and the beautiful lake, so that location was a disappointment. Excursions offered, especially the marine-life watching off Victoria where we saw Orcas and Hump Back whales, were an enjoyable part of the trip. The lake excursion to Spirit Island was sublime.
The Alaskan cruise was probably the most decadent experience of my life. Royalty could not have been better treated! The food in the dining room and service were unsurpassed! Be sure to book a stateroom with at least a window though! I’d book a Cosmos tour again! I’d recommend it for value, interest and professionalism. Happy travels!
Enchanting Rockies and Alaska Cruise Peter and Jean, VIC, Australia, May 2025
Our tour of The Rockies and Alaska was Amazing. After contacting, the warm, friendly and efficient,Tracey Standing at Global Journeys, we were delighted at the smooth process of booking, and the many questions that were answered. Together with TravelmMarvel and their outstanding Staff in Canada we had the most incredible time. Shay our tour guide and Paul our driver looked after everyone with such kindness. Their knowledge of the Rockies, especially Shays, is also invaluable to travellers from afar. The Alaskan cruise was breathtakeing and a must do for everyone travelling these parts of Canada.
Virginia and Corrine from Travelmarvel joined us on Holland America. Any questions or issues, they addressed with a courteous smile and friendliness. We also met some new friends which made this trip even more special. I would recommend… Global Journeys and Travelmarvel to anyone wanting high standard hotels, and although busy, a faultless schedule. Happy Travelling.
Canada, Alaska and Glaciers Barry and Glenis, Northland, New Zealand, May 2025
This was a great tour with Emerald. We had an excellent guide and almost perfect weather for our tour in June. The scenery and cruise (on Coral Princess) exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to have great views of the Glaciers and of Denali. We had hoped to see more wildlife, perhaps a tour later in the summer season might provide better wildlife ...read more options but then the scenery might not have been as spectacular as it was for us with great snowy mountain views.
Canada/Alaska Dianne, VIC, Australia, May 2025
Good trip, but found hotel eateries sometime closed. I am mobility impaired so was unable to walk too far. Rooms were lovely and coach was clean and new. Guide was excellent, so other than the food situation it was a good trip. The cruise part was excellent.
