The trip overall was wonderful. The driver was awesome and very knowledgeable about all aspects of Ithe places we saw. He even had to do some repairs to the coach. My main concern was that the travel details from Travelmarvel arrived too late. We were both packed and I had actually started my holiday having left home in Melbourne to Brisbane. We read more then realized we had to repack in a different case as a hard case would not be accepted. I also did not receive my name badge as this came after I left home. We were also not given the opportunity to pre book for the extra trips; eg. eco tour on ferry and the helicopter ride.

Another exceptional holiday with APT. Our tour guide Sonia & driver Thommo were excellent with great attention to detail and communication. Accommodation was generally excellent along with food no matter where we were. All fellow companions interacted well with each other especially with help and support thru some unforgiving terrain. What a fabulous trip with a great bunch of fellow travellers. The itinerary was packed but there is so much to see. I would definitely travel with Travelmarvel again and the booking through Global Journeys was so simple and easy and all done online. I will book again for another trip.

A well organised adventure. Good mix of people that mixed well. Tash and Grant, guide and driver, organised and good communicators. Accommodation comfortable, clean and special in Cairns and Port Douglas. Food good no matter where we were.
Travelling days were planned so not too long, with highlights each day. Helicopter trip over “the tip” gave read more a wonderful overview of the top of Australia, followed by ferry trips to Thursday and Horn Islands. Cultural Show on Thursday Island and discussion with organiser after offered an insight into efforts being made with the youth to carry on the culture. APT a comfortable and informative way to visit a part of Australia usually only available to “ road warriors”.

Another excellent holiday with APT! The organisation and attention to detail by our driver and tour guide left nothing to be desired.
Many highlights, but the standout ones are the time spent in the Daintree NP and the journey to the tip itself. Accommodation was generally excellent - there is no choice in some remote areas! We got on well with fellow read more travellers, and it was marvellous to see how the older and less able passengers were encouraged and supported by fellow travellers as well as the crew.

A very comfortable way to see an historic part of Australia that sits in our collective memory. Wild life, amazing scenery, vast open vistas, big sky’s, amazing sunsets experienced with a small group of like minded travellers. Easy travelling that is well organised and thoughtfully paced. Every day with a new experience. Some allowance is required for read more rustic accommodation still getting back to business after floods and staffing shortages. All up small allowances for an otherwise excellent travel experience. Highly recommended.
