Fantastic, hassle free tour of Eastern Capitals & the Dalmatian Riviera (Insight Vacations)   1 , VIC, Australia, May 2018
Booking our trip through Global Journeys was very easy and hassle free. Everything went very smoothly. The price was the cheapest we could get anywhere else. This was our first time doing an Insight tour. It was all pretty good but we felt our guide lacked a bit of experience to make our tour more enjoyable. Some of our accommodation was really good ...read more but a couple would have only been a 3 1/2 star. It was very good to have only 32 passengers on the tour and they were all very nice people. We all got along well with each other. We will probably book another tour with Insight in the future. And we will definitely be booking through Global Journeys for our future holidays. Thank you very much Hannah!
Wonderful trip except National Park just too crowded. 1 , New Zealand, Sep 2017
Wonderful trip except National Park just too crowded - they need to reduce the visitor numbers or have them go one way only.

Rained quite a lot during mid-September otherwise it was overall a good trip. Dubrovnik is beautiful, along with the long drive along the coast.
Scenery was beautiful and the travel comfortable 0 , QLD, Australia, Apr 2015
The tour was very enjoyable with a knowledgeable friendly guide. The guide was always available and happy to help, well organised and managed the tour group well. The scenery was beautiful and the travel comfortable with a friendly expert driver.
Overall I had a good time, coach and driver were terrific 6 , Australia, Jul 2014
Overall I had a good time. The coach comfort and the driver were terrific. The tour director was a lovely lady yet her accent was often hard to understand. She worked tirelessly to help us all out - particularly with one person who used a wheelchair. The cities we visited were amazing and the Adriatic coast stunning. The tour only had 27 people and ...read more so there was lots of room and as a group we all got along very well - one of the great aspects of the tour. Some of my expectations were not met however, particularly in regards to accommodation. Insight markets their tours as providing accommodation that is 'mostly' of First Class, Superior First Class or Deluxe standard. Room amenities are second to none' This simply was not the case. The Insight tour I did in Spain provided far better accommodation. Some examples - torn linen in two hotels, Sheraton was very tired and in need of a refurbish - cupboards chipped and peeling, hotel in Dubrovnik had a disgusting odour and at least 6 rooms needed changing. I woke up the first night and was having trouble breathing with the disgusting smell. I thought that some of the optional extras should have been part of the tour. eg - Szentendre and Lake Bled. A few of the optional extra dinners were just OK considering the cost of them. The one in Ljubljana Castle being the best quality restaurant we went to. It was great to learn more about the geography and history of the Dalmatian area.
Tour director made for a very pleasant experience 1 , Australia, Jun 2013
This was our fourth Insight tour and we enjoyed it very much. There were however some things that we thought could be improved or dropped from the tour. The quality of the food provided varied greatly, even on the optionals. Some were of a good standard some were terrible. Most hotels were of a good standard and the tour director was really professional ...read more and personable, she made the tour a very pleasant experience.
Another great Insight tour (our third) 1 , Australia, Apr 2013
Interesting countries visited and lots of variety. An interesting feature of this trip was that for the first three days we were accompanied by John Boulding, CEO of Insight and by Brett Tolman, CEO of the Travel Corporation, of which we were told Insight is one of 15 companies. These men particitated in all our activities and shared meals with us, ...read more they questioned us on all our opinions of the tour. It was surprising to find that such serior executives really wanted to find out how their business operated at the consumer level.
