Excellent first discovery experience of Europe with Insight!   1 , Australia, Dec 2018
Excellent all round. Global Journeys kept me confident & well informed, whilst the Insight Road To Rome Tour was a trip we'll never forget. Truly had nothing to worry about, great pace & accomodating/considerate towards my pregnant wife. Knowledgeable & professional staff, head & shoulders above the rest.
Insight Tours Road to Rome (Winter)   2 , QLD, Australia, Dec 2018
Overall a good trip. Saw a lot which could not do on your own. Busy schedule but not stressed as everything taken care of.

Accommodation in Florence & Rome could be better. Really need to do the Optional tours to benefit from it so budget for these. So you could say the optional tours are not really optional.

Allow a few days at the end to relax ...read more & do shopping if you want as you don’t really get enough time for this on the tour despite what they say. The guide Gary was excellent & professional. As this was our first time to Italy & the europena continent it was a good way to do it with this tour.
Fantastic Holiday   1 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2018
We were looked after so well by Philip of Insight Vacations, the tour was fast paced and very informative. We saw so many sights in such a short amount of time, the Eiffel Tower, gondola ride just to name a few. The choice of hotels was excellent right in the heart of all the big cities, and were all of a high standard. We could not fault Jemma from ...read more Global Journeys, she looked after us and did a perfect job, thank you.
Wonderful and fantastic Road to Rome   3 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2016
Reading reviews from TripAdvisor regarding Insight Vacations before our tour started created a wait and see until we hit the first day. (GJ. Why didn't you read ours?) We met our Tour Director Brendan Lampard in the hotel and he was so very helpful. All the second thoughts of being on a tour are a thing of the past. All we can think is how to enjoy ...read more what is there for us to discovery. Brendan has been fantastic from day 1 until the last hour of our tour. He is the most patient tour director I would say. I wish he would be the tour director on every tour that we take in the future. Insight Vacations had taken care of everything for us. All we had to do was enjoy the scenery and the places we all had to see. The coach was very comfortable with extra legroom that you can fit a truckload. The coach ride from Lucern to Salzburg is the leg with the most beautiful scenery. Highly recommended. Optional tours were great as well, with local tour guides that had a broad knowledge of the area - walking in Venice, riding the Gondola, Murano Glass, Burano dinner, San Gimignano and the Eagles Nest were the most popular ones that you should not miss. Visiting Pisa and Orvieto as part of the inclusions on the tour was well worth it. We all had a great time and it's a highly recommended introduction of Europe.
Would recommend the tour to anyone 2 , Australia, Jul 2011
