Surrounded by Wicklow's dramatic landscapes, explore this sacred valley founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Continue to Kilkenny, stepping back in time in this medieval town on the River Nore, rich in history and charm, before traveling to Waterford for your overnight stay. Join your fellow travelers for dinner at the hotel.
Begin the day with a guided walking tour of Waterford with a local guide, followed by mass at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity. Depart Limerick this morning, traveling north through Ireland's heartland toward one of the nations most revered pilgrimage sites. Arrive at Knock Shrine, a place of profound spiritual significance where the Marian apparition of 1879 has drawn pilgrims for generations. Spend meaningful time exploring the shrine complex, reflecting in the basilica, chapel, and peaceful grounds dedicated to prayer and healing.
This evening, reunite in Limerick for dinner, sharing reflections on a day rich in faith, heritage, and Irish devotion.
Today's journey brings you to Clonmacnoise, the remarkable early Christian monastic site founded by St. Ciaran, where round towers, high crosses, and ruined churches tell the story of Ireland's spiritual and scholarly past.
