Fantastic and relaxing tour that covers lots 4

This tour exceeded my expectations, plenty of time to stop in places, never felt rushed like other tours, and stopped in little towns most times for lunch instead of auto grills. Would thoroughly recommend this tour. Spain is a lovely place. Food is fantastic. (Ed. This trip has changed this season, so this review refers to a slightly different itinerary.)

We chose the last tour of the season, and had the most spectacular weather to add to the spectacular scenery.
An extremely well organised tour combining the Rocky Mountaineer in GoldLeaf, the Cosmos land tour with our wonderful tour guide Tamara and wonderful accommodation along the way, then connecting to the Holland America cruise to Alaska and read more the Inside Passage. Don't leave it too long to add this trip to your bucket list...

There are just too many historical places we visited to detail individually but highlights included the beautiful picturesque town of Harpers Ferry where John Brown staged a revolt against white slavery, the Kentucky Horse Park which is the final resting place of Secretariat, Lincoln Museum and the Museum of Appalachia.
Our day at the Jamestown read more Settlement and particularly Colonial Williamsburg was like stepping back in time and the detail of the buildings and displays were brilliant. Our tour of the Biltmore House was mind blowing and impossible to imagine the wealth of George Washington Vanderbilt who built the biggest and still privately owned house in the United States.
The optional extras of a day at Dollywood theme park and Dolly Parton's Stampede dinner and show were both well worthwhile choices. Both our driver Bob and tour guide Brenda were fantastic. Brenda had so much knowledge of this tour and provided us with endless details of each destination.

What a great trip we had. Sun, sand, sangria, camels, belly dancers and much more. Who could ask for anything more. The guide and driver on our coach were marvelous. The other 41 people on the coach were great and we had some wonderful times and laughs with them. Everywhere we went was magnificent. It was a quick on off the coach affair but it didn't read more matter to us, because we wanted to see so much. I can recommend this to anyone.
Booking through Global Journeys was a breeze and so too was this, our second Cosmos trip. Natural beauty and water was in abundance. It was late in the tourist season but overall the weather was good and crowds were manageable. Accommodation & location overall was good, exception being the last 2 nights at Bromma domestic airport. The Globus coach was read more comfortable and our group comprised Australians, N.Z.'s, U.S.A.'s, Canadians, Indians & English. A good time was had by all.
The tour was divided into two sections with a different tour director for both tours. The first tour of Rome, Capri and Naples was relaxing with more than one night in each location. The highlight was the two nights on the Island of Capri. The second tour of Sicily flowed seamlessly on from the first tour. This tour covered more territory with shorter read more stays in each location. A highlight was the visit to the active volcano Mount Etna.
We had an amazing trip to Ireland. We really have no criticisms about anything. The hotels we stayed in were all very good - clean, comfortable and varied i.e. some modern and some older. Our tour director was very knowledgeable about Ireland, its places and history. The bus drivers we had were also very good. The only thing I would have liked to have read more seen was a get-to-know-other travellers event on the first day/evening. This could just be a glass of something where everyone says their name, where they are from etc. I think this would make it easier for people travelling by themselves. But we really enjoyed our Ireland trip.

I travelled over land & sea. There will always be personality clashes & where this is easy to avoid on a cruise ship that holds 2100 people, unfortunately on a coach you can't get away from them (especially with rotated seating). I have been doing coach tours for 30 years & have always found like-minded folk. Cosmos does not cater for 4-5 star accommodation read more & this was reflected with the great, the good & the bad along the way. But even the bad supplied what was required, just not as comfortably. Be prepared for crowds at the major attractions in Yellowstone & the elbowing you'll receive from the viewers that arrive in the big yellow buses. You'll know them when you see them.
If you wish to see the majority of the geysers at the Old Faithful complex, walking at a brisk pace, allow yourself around one & a half hours. This will give you time for photo ops & to stop & watch the geysers erupt. The bigger ones (such as Daisy) have eruption schedules. As I didn't receive my cruising documents earlier, I wasn't able to book any of the optional excursions before I boarded & though some were already sold out there were still plenty to choose from - helicopters, sea planes, whale & bear watching, hiking & biking. One of my choices was a 'pilot's choice two glacier stop' out of Juneau. It was expensive but I looked at it as a once in a lifetime opportunity & am so glad I did. We landed on two different glaciers & at the time there was only us, one pilot & five passengers. This is now at the top of my list of experiences & will be hard to beat. Would I travel with Cosmos again, yes. Would I book with Global Journeys again, yes.

I am really glad I did this tour. Croatia was such a beautiful country. Our tour director was wonderful. The hotels were below expectation though.
We have just returned from a 24 day tour of the USA with Cosmos which was organised through Hannah Campbell of Global Journeys. The trip started in New York and concluded in Los Angeles. The tour was listed as Cross Country USA. From the moment we contacted Hannah I knew we were in good hands. Hannah was exceptional, answering all our questions and read more providing excellent advice along the way. Any questions were answered promptly and fully which made us feel very comfortable. I cannot recommend Hannah highly enough.
The trip itself was excellent. We visited 19 states and experienced all the major attractions that you would expect when visiting the USA - the cities of New York, Washington, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles as well as Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and Mt Rushmore. The highlights for us were the National Parks including Yellowstone, Zion, Bryce Canyon and the Badlands of South Dakota. This trip had something for everyone whether it was the hustle and bustle of New York and Las Vegas or the beauty of the natural landscape - well worth the money and an experience to last a lifetime.

This tour lived up to my high expectations of Cosmos Tours, having travelled on many of their excellent tours in the past. As always, it was well planned, great value for money & professionally executed with the wonderful assistance of my guide, Michaela. Yvonne Brooks, from Global Journeys, is always a pleasure to contact for assistance with my bookings read more & I can't speak highly enough of her professionalism & knowledge.
Cosmos ensured we had a fantastic trip and saw the main attractions in every city. There was plenty of time to please ourselves and to extend the experience with hotels well placed in terms of the center of town. Hotels were very good, even better than our previous tours. Our group were punctual and all got to know each other by the end of the trip. read more We would recommend this trip to everyone who wants to see the highlights of Central Europe and only has two weeks available to do it. Poland was amazing and well worth seeing.

Great trip that takes you to the best places along the European Mediterranean coast. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Cinque Terre and some of my favourite cities including Valencia, French Riviera, Venice and Rome. The pace was great, not too hectic with some leisure time. Our Tour director and local guides were very knowledgeable, helpful and read more entertaining. A few hotels and meals could do with some improvement but overall I recommend this Cosmos tour, it was a fantastic experience I won't forget.

Great holiday with breathtaking scenery in Norway. Two hotels were below par and two included meals could have been improved. It was a good value for money trip.
Marco, our tour director was excellent and I would highly recommend this trip. You do have to walk to the hotels but they were always close to the station and anyone except those with mobility issues would not have a problem. I really liked the itinerary and having two nights in Zermatt. I loved the included excursion to the Gornergrat Railway. I was read more not so impressed with the Swiss Cultural evening which was loud with OK food. The Chillon Castle was a very good optional tour. The tour director gave great advice about where to eat in such an expensive country saving us a lot of money and travelling by train was very different to a coach and gave us the freedom to move around whilst on the move. A very enjoyable tour, very well organised and run. Would use Cosmos again.
Having visited Italy many times, I decided to tour Sicily hoping to see something a little different and I was not disappointed! Sicily is rich in Greek history, is a little more rustic than the mainland and is beautiful. The tour length was perfect and allowed us to see many of the main attractions from volcanoes, beaches, temples and more. Overall read more a great trip that was well organised and enjoyable.
This tour was amazing! I met some fantastic people from around the world who now are friends for life! The tour director, Gianpaolo, was amazing and made the tour fun and enjoyable along with the 40 people who I shared this amazing experience with. The places we saw were exactly what I wanted to see and experience. The hotels were OK, but could be a read more bit better in standard, but overall the tour was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Cosmos as a tour operator and would do another tour in the future.

This is one of the best tours I have done with Cosmos. The tour guide was an extremely capable and knowledgeable guy who enjoyed what he was doing. The entire tour group were very punctual and caring. I was disappointed there were not more breakfasts included but there were lots of eateries as well at that time of the morning. The optional tours were read more of a good standard. I would recommend a Cosmos tour to any of my friends. Some accommodation I found the airconditioning to be very noisy when it cut in and out.

Could not be happier with the way our tour was organised and operated. All enquiries were answered promptly by Georgie before we left. Georgie made our decisions easier to make. All transfers, of which there were many, went exactly as planned which saved a lot of frustration and hassle. The tour director Scott McEwan was fantastic, very informative, read more answered any and all questions from us and made sure we were on time and where we were supposed to be.
The train from Toronto gave us spectacular views and we had fun sleeping, eating and rocking our way to Jasper. The coach tour through the Rockies exceeded our expectations, everywhere you looked there was a photo to be taken. We were very lucky with the weather, sunshine throughout. The transfer to the ship was well organised and we had 7 lovely days cruising, eating way too much, and looking at the sea life and beautiful scenery. It was a trip of a lifetime. Highlights were the train, glacier walk, scenery, zip lining, Grouse Mountain, Butchart Gardens... there were just too many.
