Tour location was great. We visited the main highlights of Spain and Portugal. Our Guide Roxana was helpful and the Local Guides were very informative.

I really enjoyed this tour- well organised itinerary and helpful tour guide. There were some long travel days but they were usually broken up with visits to various medieval towns. Have travelled before with Cosmos and booked through Global Journeys. Global Journeys (Hannah) made booking easy, and Cosmos are always good value for money. Saw a lot in the time, but didn't feel rushed. A very enjoyable trip. Great scenery and fabulous locations visited. A knowledgeable and helpful tour guide. Accommodation was basic but OK. Breakfasts were a good start to the day. Optional tours were good value especially Toledo which was a highlight.

Good experience & good tour guide but due to the crowded places, was not as appealing as when less crowded. Previously been to to the area later in October, early November & found it more appealing as a lot less crowded so able to see more & spend more time at interesting places. We really enjoyed our tour of Spain and Portugal - it was just right to get a fabulous taste of these regions. Our tour guide Estefania was amazing - really fantastic, and the local guides that managed our optional excursions were also very good. We would certainly recommend Cosmos tours for great value and will definitely tour with them again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Spain and Portugal. From the booking process right to the actual tour, everything has been a breeze. Our only complaint was the hotel in Lisbon, Portugal. Customer service was lacking and front desk staff was very rude.

I feel that overall the tour was great - Spain is so interesting, steeped in history, beautiful scenery & architecture, great food, people and so many other wonderful things about the country. I do feel however that you should provide more information in the brochure and the tour information about the places to be visited as generally the descriptions are scant and rather boring. Perhaps also give more suggestions on places to visit and things to do in each place that are not included in the tour itinerary. The accommodation was generally of a good standard, if at times a little out of the way. Holiday Inn Madrid was well located to city centre with bus & metro services right outside the door. But what were they thinking when they designed the bathroom - the space between the toilet & bidet is so small that even my skinny legs could barely fit and you need to sit on an angle to use the toilet - I wonder how the 'bigger' members of the group managed? We stayed in Hotel Abba, Madrid on the last night of the tour and whilst a nicer property it's much further out of the city centre so my preference would be to stay at Holiday Inn. Hotel Don Paco in Seville was good and the rooftop swimming pool and bar were a definite hit with the group. Las Piramides Fuengirola - great location but the hotel is looking very tired and interesting mixture of decorating styles - a little bit of Egyptian, Mediterranean, Asian, Classic, ultra modern. Definitely in need of refurbishment and they should choose a style and stick with it! Estefania our tour director was lovely and provided a lot of commentary along the way. The driver, Jesus, was excellent and the coach was very clean and comfortable. Rest stops every 2 or so hours were good and nice locations. Another suggestion I would like to make is that on the 'at leisure' days it would be good for the tour director to be available in the hotel lobby for about 1 hour in the morning and again late afternoon/early evening should passengers require information and suggestions on where to go and what to do in that particular city. This would also be opportunity for pax to contact tour director if they have any issues. The tour director could also provide pax with some general information about each city. +e.g. city map, transport information, etc. Would definitely do another Cosmos tour and book with Global Journeys and having done it once I have a better idea of what to expect. I enjoyed this tour. We visited some very nice and beautiful places in both Spain and Portugal. The hotels were all pretty nice and our tour guide was super nice, friendly and very helpful. The coach was comfortable and the optional dinners and shows were also very enjoyable.

We had great expectations of this tour and were never disappointed. It was almost as though our tour operator had planned a special event at each of our stops, just fantastic. Our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of both Spain and Portugal which made the otherwise uneventful bus travel very interesting.
