The trip was wonderful. I'd never been to northern France - only Paris, so I learnt a lot of the history about northern France. My highlight was visiting the D-Day beaches.

Excellent tour especially for the price which was very reasonable. Hotel rooms were small and average but for the price that is all I expected and they were adequate. Always clean and everything worked. Tour was a good pace. We had plenty of time everywhere. Our guide Patricia always gave us a map before we arrived in each town, highlighted where the read more bus would be and the way to walk to the main attractions. Patricia and our driver Serge made it a very enjoyable trip.

This was an amazing journey through the North of France with Cosmos Tours. The tour was well-paced, well-priced and our tour guide, Clara, was absolutely outstanding. The whole experience was pleasant from start to finish, and Cosmos are the experts in European coach travel. I would highly recommend this tour as it is not too long and not too short and includes some of the best sights in northern France, including Mont St Michel, Normandy beach landings, Brittany and the stunning Loire Valley. We were very happy with this tour. It was not luxurious, but it was good value for money. Maybe the company could raise the price a little and then include a few extras, like hot drinks after included meals etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Jewels of France tour but would have preferred the pace to have been a little more leisurely. Too many places visited in too short a time. Although the optional tours were very good considered them a little expensive. Many thanks for your organization of our tour.

This was an excellent tour, just the right pace and group size. Our tour director, Corina was excellent, the best we have had so far. The places we visited were so well chosen we were very impressed. Occasionally, we were disappointed with a breakfast but on the whole the meals were superb. We would certainly recommend this tour, it went to all the read more places we wanted without the hassle of language, driving etc that we have experienced in the past. Well done, Cosmos!

The hotel accommodation and facilities not always the best. Meal inclusions were of average standard. The optional tours where meals were involved were expensive for what you got and the wine at one of the meals was terrible. Tasted like it was watered down. The tour is advertised as 8 days which in reality is really only six days and there is a lot read more squeezed into the time. Some activities were just a redo of previous activities, so same thing, different town. Quality of the tour guide made it. Simeon was excellent. Very informative and entertaining. This was my first time travelling on an organised itinerary as I usually travel unguided. The rushed schedule every morning did not really appeal and by the last day felt quite worn out.

I'm a first time tour user. I found the guide, Jenny, to be a friendly, well organised and informative leader. She was most helpful with anyone with problems or issues. The tour itself was fun and the fellow travellers were easy to be with. The included tours were good value but I feel that the optional ones were quite special and will hold lasting read more memories for me. The welcome dinner night was fantastic and a good way to break the ice. The Louvre, Versailles and the Chateau were very amazing. Accommodation was mostly good, though on our return to Paris, although the hotel was fantastic, the area felt a little unsafe for a lady on her own. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Global Journeys.

Our Cosmos tour was great. We counted at least nine highlights which were unforgettable memories. These were 1. The magical beauty of the garden and house at Giverny, 2. The unique breathtaking beauty of Mont St. Michel, 3. The quiet awe of the American cemetry at Omaha Beach, 4. The Bayeu Tapestry, 5. The stunning harbour at Honfleur, 6. The grandeur read more of the Chateau at Chenonceaux, 7. The fascinating history of the castle of Ambois, 8. The magnificent Cathedral at Chatres, 9. The historic waterfront buildings at St. Malo. The tour director (Riccardo Camillion) always excelled at finding ways to make the trip more interesting. The hotels were well located in relation to ammenities. My only comment for improvement would be that some of the Program was reduced to centre on the 'optional tours'. For example, the included sightseeing tour of Paris was brief and left out some of the items in the brochure (the Opera, Invalides, the Pyramid near the Louvre) so that the optional tour of the Louvre could start.
