First rate wild Kimberleys trip 10 Untamed Kimberley , QLD, Australia, Aug 2017
Thanks for your assistance booking our trip. We really enjoyed ourselves seeing places we had been curious about for a long time. We would have no hesitation in booking with Global Journeys again or recommending this trip to others. The itinerary was packed with interest and we were more than happy with the meals and accommodation. The weather in read more the north at this time of the year suited us well. Our tour director and coach driver were particularly efficient, friendly and helpful. Our fellow travellers were a good bunch and everyone got along well.

I really can't suggest any improvements over what we received. We thought that the trip was very good value for money. We took part in only one optional extra which was the Willy Creek pearl farm in Broome on our free day which was all the extras that we wanted.
Great trip through the Kimberleys 5 Wonders of the Kimberley , NSW, Australia, Aug 2017
We had a wonderful holiday thanks to our tour director Liz ,driver Mark and a good touring group that made our trip very enjoyable, from Broome to Darwin we visited a lot of incredible locations our favourite places would have to be El Questro, the Ord river cruise and the full day tour of Bungle Bungles, most of the accommodation and meals were very read more good considering places we visited although it involves a lot of travelling and a hectic schedule it was all worth it we would definitely travel with AAT Kings and book through Global Journeys again, thanks Jemma.
Safari worry free holiday 2 Outback Safari , New Zealand, Jul 2017
Highlights was walking around Uluru and also climbing King Canyon. The tour was well organised and Pete the tour driver was very very informative.
Kakadu & Katherine Gorge Adventure 2 Kakadu & Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge , QLD, Australia, Jul 2017
Very informative coach driver, going into the past history of Darwin and the Aboriginal surrounding lands. Quite fast paced as only a three day trip covering a large area. Accommodation was pretty basic, in need of an update, included meals were reasonably good,
Wonderful trip through The Top End 1 Top End Highlights , QLD, Australia, Jul 2017
Excellent tour guide Tony! Very knowledgeable - overall it was a great trip for me and my wife. Good organisation by Global Journey too. Highlight was the stay in Wilderness Lodge although it was too short - an additional day would have been better. Kakadu Air scenic flight was also very good. The Katherine gorges dinner cruise and dinner was very good. read more "Be my guest" experience at Katherine was too long. A nice relaxing tour of Darwin, Katherine and Kakadu.
This was our first coach tour and the experience was very good 3 Untamed Kimberley , VIC, Australia, Jul 2017
This was our first coach tour and the experience was very good. AAT/Kings was a great company to travel with and we would definitely tour with them again and recommend them. The Tour Director was very knowledgeable and experienced, this made the holiday very enjoyable. The bus driver was very experienced and we felt comfortable with him operating read more the coach. The accommodation was very good to excellent. The tours were well organised and interesting. The included meals and wine were of good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. We think it was very good value for money.

Global Journeys were great to deal with and kept us informed and up to date of progress from our initial inquiry to concluding the holiday. We would definitely consider them for future trips.
Great Road Trip in the Top End of Australia 2 Top End Highlights , NSW, Australia, Jul 2017
To start with we had a great Tour Director Cam and a very careful and friendly Driver Narelle. We were are friendly group of 26 people that got along well and helped each other when required and I would highly recommend this trip to others.
A beautiful part of the world 2 Wonders of the Pilbara & West Coast , VIC, Australia, Jun 2017
I have travelled extensively overseas but wanted to see more of Australia. I had never been to Perth or travelled below Broome so I chose the Untamed Pilbara and West Coast tour with AAT Kings. What a magical part of Australia. The tour was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.
Wonderful trip through a magnificent part of Aus! 4 Wonders of the Pilbara & West Coast , VIC, Australia, Jun 2017
This AAT Kings tour was excellent. The itinerary was good and even though there were a number of places where we would have liked to spend more time, we could not identify a corresponding part that could be left off! The accommodation, meals and inclusions were excellent and we were very lucky that there were only 26 on the tour, so there was plenty read more of room on the coach. The Tour Director and driver were also excellent and really made this trip one to remember. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see some of this magnificent part of Australia.
Fabulous West Coast adventure   6 Wonders of the West Coast & Kimberley , Vic, Australia, Jun 2017
Overall - I am sooo glad I finally booked this trip - it was extremely enjoyable and well organised.

I wish to highly commend our tour director Delma Coulson for her combination of friendliness, professionalism, knowledge, fun, helpfulness and care. I was one of the younger travelers and one of the few still working (at 66yrs!) There was a mix read more of couples and singles and most of the time we all got on just fine - and there are at least a couple of people I will keep in touch with.

Although it would make the trip longer - it would have been great to spend a bit longer at some of the stops - e.g. Karajini I would have loved to be able to do some walks. Would have loved if a bit more indigenous experience was woven in somehow - but enjoyed what there was. Would have liked an extra night in Perth so we could spend more time in Kings Park and Yanchep.

The accommodation overall was great - small issues in a couple of places (Darwin Mantra - kettle hidden at the back of a bottom shelf in a cupboard (??) and a hand-held shower in the bath which collapsed when I tried to use it. If you have a group of of almost all senior travelers this is not OK - and I pointed this out to the hotel). Karajini, El Questro, Monkey Mia, Cable Beach and Ningaloo especially were fabulous. All beds were OK despite me having a bad back, and most places had free Wifi.

For me the least enjoyable activities were the visit to Carnarvon Space Museum - I found it very ho-hum, and the visit to Tom Price. Highlights were many - but especially had a fabulous day on a catamaran from Monkey Mia looking for dugongs etc; Had an amazing day swimming with whale-sharks (and one swam right under me!!). A very hot but wonderful day flying and walking into the bungle bungles. Many sunsets and some sunrises - espy at Monkey Mia - this was better than the dolphin feeding as I saw dolphins, turtles, pelicans etc close to shore as the sun rose with few people around!! The afternoon/sunset cruise on the Ord river was wonderful,

Most of the meals were OK to very good, but was disappointed in the dinner at the Sandalwood factory, and in the Farewell dinner in Darwin. I fell in love with Boab trees, snappy gums and salmon gums, enjoyed the geckos in my tent at El Questro, but was a tiny bit disappointed not to see or hear a dingo at Karijini - although I awoke to the most wonderful bird chorus. The photograph is one of my favourites - at sunrise at Monkey Mia - I love the dog on the small boat!!

Thank you for all your help in organising this trip - I had a wonderful time !!!
Wonderful Trip from Adelaide to Darwin 3 Outback Adventure , NSW, Australia, Jun 2017
It was great trip that allowed us to visit so many of the iconic locations through Australia's "Red Centre". The tour director was passionate about the many places we saw and shared his wealth of knowledge. We also were lucky to have a great driver. Our travelling companions were also great.
Tasmanian Wonders 3 Tasmanian Wonders , VIC, Australia, Apr 2017
Excellent Itinerary. Excellent Tour Guide. Excellent Accommodation. Excellent Food. Great sightseeing and interesting places visited. One of the best tours I have been on and we'd highly recommend it to others.
Tassy West Coast 1 Tassie's Wilderness Icons , Victoria, Oakleigh, Apr 2017
Hobart to Launceston on the AAT King coach. The organisation on the coach was great as this was our first time on this type of holiday. Especially like the rotating seat allocation. The west coast of Tassy was well worth a visit, especially the Gordon River cruise. Accommodation varied but clean and comfortable. The communication about arrangements read more and times was excellent. The tour broke up the day into achievable sitting and leaving the coach for sights etc except for a couple of 2 - 2.5 hour journeys that were a bit long at times.
High Recommendation on Tasmanian Wonders Tour 5 Tasmanian Wonders , NSW, Australia, Apr 2017
It's been a great experience with AAT Kings and Global Journeys in my 10 days Tasmanian Wonders Tour, Everything is well-organized and full of surprises. I didn't expect that we would have a few hours city tour in Hobart on the first day of arrival, which gave me some idea of the city. Our tour guide Gordon Prescott and coach driver Darren are very read more experienced. It's such a wonderful vacation with great people and stunning landscape. I highly recommend this tour to whoever wants to explore Tasmania for the first time!
Kakadu & Crocodiles 5 Kakadu & Tiwi Islands Explorer , NSW, Australia, Mar 2017
Loved the boat trip through the wetlands and also seeing the crocodiles (but they were not actually in Kakadu). The accommodation in Kakadu at the Crocodile hotel was average and the food expensive. $5 for a cup of coffee was outrageous. The flight trip over Kakadu was wonderful - but this was an add on. The tour guides were OK. But disappointed in read more some lack of knowledge. e.g. we were led to believe that Aborigines still live in Kakadu and when asked how come we didn't see any - nor any evidence as we flew over - we were told that they were there and could see us but obviously were hiding. This is untrue, as they tend to live in Arnhem Land.
Wonderful trip to tasmania 1 Tasmanian Wonders , VIC, Australia, Mar 2017
We had a wonderful trip to Tasmania which was so well organised. Not a hitch right though 10 day trip. Terffic guide and company and great weather for the whole time. Would book again through Global Journeys.
Beautiful scenery 6 Southern Wonders , SA, Australia, Mar 2017
Have booked online with Global Journeys on 2 occasions and cannot believe how simple and easy it has been. Documents have always been sent to us well before the departure date with no holdups. Global Journeys have always been prompt with their responses to emails. Love the way we can go online and view our booking.

This was our first trip with AATKings read more and found the bus very clean and comfortable. Overnight accommodation was excellent as was the breakfast and dinners. We found the bus driver to be quite aloof who did not interact with the group very much. The tour guide was good but tended to rubbish the Australians quite a bit. On the first day or 2 it came across as a joke but as the week progressed this became quite tiresome to listen to.

Were surprised to see that we were expected to give a large tip to the driver and the tour guide as New Zealand is not a country that ususally promotes tipping as a custom.
South Island of New Zealand - Ahhh! 1 Southern Wonders , NSW, Australia, Mar 2017
I travelled with Isobel (Guide) and Paul (driver), who were both professional, knowledgeable, and attended to all details of the trip. I would travel with AAT Kings and book with Global Journeys again. Both guides knew the country and were able to contribute interesting stories of the places we passed through. Accommodation was a mixture of 'to be read more expected' and 'better than usual'. Meals were well done and hotel staff were prepared for large coach loads. My fellow passengers were from different parts of the world and this made it interesting. My outstanding memory was of the coach being driven perfectly to the canyon floor on what appeared to be one lane, twisting roads very, very close to steep drops. The scenery there was magnificent - towering alps down to pristine waterways.
Great Trip! 2 Perfect Tasmania , NSW, Australia, Mar 2017
We had a great trip, could not have been better. Our tour guide Carolyn Tipper was just the best, very helpful and caring, has a wonderful knowledge of the history of Tasmania and was happy to impart it to the tour as we travelled around. Our driver Tom, must be your best driver, he was fantastic - we knew we were safe with him. The other people on read more the tour were very friendly and we all got on just great. I would recommend this trip to anyone, but I think we were very lucky to have Carolyn and Tom.
Great trip 2 Tasmanian Wonders , Vic, Australia, Mar 2017
