View the delightful crisscrossing canals, the gondolas, arched bridges, palaces, and piazzas. Your included orientation features a boat ride to St. Mark's Square, and time at leisure for a chance to explore on your own or to join our signature optional excursion. You can also just relax with a cappuccino at one of the many cafes and watch the world go by. (B)

Say arrivederci to Venice and cross into bordering Slovenia. Discover the picturesque fishing village of Piran, with an enchanting medieval square lined with cafes. Continue to the spa town of Portoroz (Port of Roses) for an overnight. Today's Distance: 127 mi/ 205 km (B/D)

Enjoy a free day to explore the pretty seaside resort on the Adriatic. You could pamper yourself at one of the wellness spas, or try your luck at a casino. Cross the border into Croatia, then relax and drink in the natural beauty of Opatija, a town nestled between the sparkling waters of the Adriatic and a lovely forest of bay laurels. Next stop is Zadar. This tour can be made more memorable if the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana and Bosnia/Herzegovina, Mostar was included in the itinerary.
A great time exploring the Dalmatian coast with Cosmos   3 , WA, Australia, Jun 2019
Cosmos has done an excellent job in planning this tour of Venice, Slovenia, Croatia & Montenegro. It is amazing how much we saw in the time. Our Tour Director and Driver went out of their way to help everyone get the most out of the tour. Although half of us were from Australia, the group covered six countries and a wide range of ages. We have done several tours with Cosmos and enjoyed every one, they have all been excellent value. At Portoroz our hotel was on the waterfront, but others were out of town. This didn't really matter. There was an included dinner on the first night at every place and our Tour Director gave us a range of suggestions for the other nights. Jemma, our consultant from Global Journeys, gave us excellent service, always replying promptly and helpfully to our emails.
Far better than expected - Venice to Dubrovnik with Cosmos 14 , ACT, Australia, Sep 2018
I have travelled a few times with Cosmos, in fact it is my operator of choice. I have always considered Cosmos a good value for money operator and expected a lower standard of accommodation as part of the deal. On this trip everything was of a superior quality, this applies not only to the accommodation but includes the guide, coach driver and sche ...read moredule.
