  • Location: Uluru. Cost: $105.
  • Rise early this morning and drive to the exclusive location of Bruce Munroe’s Field of Light installation. Arriving in complete darkness, this once-in-a-lifetime experience will be etched in your mind forever. Walk through the 50,000 spheres of light at your own pace and then make your way to the top of a large sand dune to the Field of Light sunrise viewing area. Enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate as the sun starts to rise and lights up the surrounding desert. From the viewing area you can see both Uluru and Kata Tjuta as the desert comes to life. Duration approximately 2 hour(s). Transportation is not included It is a good idea to bring a small flashlight or phone light to use while walking through the Field of Light or walking up and down the sand dune, as it can be very dark. Warm layers in cooler months are advised. To access the Field of Light pathways from the viewing point, travelers will need to walk up and down a sand dune, which can be uneven. As such, mobility scooters or walkers are not recommended for this tour.
