Visit Niagara Falls for a cruise to Horseshoe Falls, the largest and most famous of the 3 waterfalls. Named for it's horseshoe shaped crest, the water of Horseshoe Falls drops approximately 57 meters into the river below, producing a stunning display of nature's power and beauty. Reboard the Rocky Mountaineer as you continue your spectacular rail adventure today. Follow the North Thompson River past rolling landscapes before ascending through the majestic scenery of the Monashee Mountains. Journey onward past Pyramid Falls and the expansive glaciers of the Alberta Icefields. Then head past Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, before traversing the Yellowhead Pass.

Later you'll enter Jasper National Park, one of Canada's oldest and largest national parks.

Your discovery of Jasper National Park continues today as you explore Maligne Canyon. Enjoy time walking through its deep rocky ravines then hit the road as you travel along the Icefields Parkway, considered to be the world's most scenic highway. To say our trip to Canada and Alaska was amazing is an under statement. It was a trip that included everything you could think of plus more. Waking up to a Niagara falls sunrise view from our room was just breathtaking, as per our attached photo. Our tour guide Lezlie, on the east coast was excellent. Our tour guide Zac on west coast and Alaska was ...read more nothing less than amazing. His knowledge and compassion for the country and the environment is second to none. Also his care and concern for our group was always evident, thank you Zac. Also Georgie from Global Journeys was very helpful and arranged everything as I requested, thank you Georgie. We would not hesitate to use Global Journeys, or travel with Travelmarvel again.
