Itinerary

Departs: 4:00 PM

The Port of San Francisco annually hosts more than 80 cruise ships at the James R. Herman Cruise Terminal (Pier 27) and nearby Pier 35. The terminal is in a prime location, with easy access to popular attractions including Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, the Ferry Building and Union Square.

One of the most spectacular things about cruising from San Francisco is passing under the Golden Gate Bridge. Make sure you are on the lido deck for the sailaway party. It’s certainly a ‘hold your breath’ moment as the ship sails under the bridge.

Even if you’re not sailing to Naples (this time), you can still enjoy one of their greatest contributions to the culinary world. Alfredo’s / Gigi’s Pizzeria serves up certified authentic Neapolitan pizza made to order from scratch in a cheery restaurant named after our very own executive chef and inspired by the colors and landscapes of the Amalfi coast.

Arrives: 7:00 AM Departs: 6:00 PM

Big Island, officially known as Hawaii Island, offers a diverse range of attractions and landscapes. Visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to witness the awe-inspiring activity of Kilauea and Mauna Loa, two of the world's most active volcanoes. The park’s lava flows and unique geological features make it a must-see destination.

Head to the east side and explore Hilo's lush rainforests, beautiful waterfalls like Rainbow Falls, and the serene Liliuokalani Gardens. The west side boasts sunny Kona, famous for its coffee farms and historic sites like Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park. Don't miss a visit to the stunning black sand beaches of Punalu'u, where you might spot sea turtles basking in the sun.

Port:Kailua-Kona

Kailua-Kona is located the beautiful western shore and is known for its sunny warm weather and calm, clear waters that offer the perfect playground for ocean adventures. Explore the historic Hulihe‘e Palace, once a vacation home for Hawaiian royalty, and visit Mokuaikaua Church, the oldest Christian church in Hawaii. Stroll along Ali‘i Drive for charming shops, cafes, and oceanfront views.

For ocean enthusiasts, Kailua-Kona offers exceptional snorkeling and diving at sites like Kahaluʻu Beach Park, teeming with colorful coral and fish. Don’t miss a tour of a local coffee farm to sample the world-renowned Kona coffee.

Arrives: 7:00 AM Departs: 6:00 PM

Maui, known as the "Valley Isle," is home to the world’s largest dormant volcano in Haleakalā National Park. The sunrise view from the summit is a spectacular experience, but the park's trails and unique flora and fauna are equally enchanting throughout the day. In the afternoon, head to the scenic Road to Hana, a winding drive that offers stunning coastal views, waterfalls, and lush rainforests. Stop by the charming town of Paia for a taste of local cuisine and unique boutiques.

Port:Lahaina

Lahaina is your port of call in Maui - a destination famous for its miles upon miles of sandy beaches, rugged waterfalls, and tropical drives. Lahaina was a whaling village in the mid-1800's and you can still get a feel for old Lahaina as you stroll down lively Front Street. Ships will anchor offshore and tenders will be provided to the shore.

Arrives: 7:00 AM Departs: 5:00 PM

Oahu, known as "The Gathering Place," is a vibrant blend of natural beauty and urban charm. From Honolulu's Ala Moana Center, the largest open-air shopping center in the world or alternatively for nature enthusiasts, hike up Diamond Head for breathtaking views or relax on the famous Waikiki Beach. For a taste of local life, visit the North Shore to witness world-class surfing and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. Don't miss the chance to sample local delicacies at a luau, where traditional Hawaiian cuisine and entertainment create an unforgettable evening.

Port:Honolulu

Dive into history at the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the United States, and pay respects at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial, a poignant reminder of World War II. Stroll through the lively Waikiki Beach area, where you can sunbathe, surf, or shop at upscale boutiques.

For panoramic views of the island, hike up Diamond Head, an iconic volcanic crater. Sample local flavors at the KCC Farmers Market, featuring fresh produce and Hawaiian treats, or relax in the serene Honolulu Botanical Gardens, a lush oasis in the heart of the city.

It’s no surprise The Shops are awarded “Best Onboard Shopping” from Porthole magazine year after year. You’ll find fine merchandise from brands like Swarovski, Chanel, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Lancôme, Calvin Klein, Citizen and Tissot, plus local crafts, keepsakes and souvenirs. Venues vary by ship and are subject to change.

Arrives: 4:00 PM Departs: 8:00 PM

With its warm climate, rich cultural heritage and activities for any adventurer, Ensenada is one of Mexico’s most popular cruise ports. Located on the west coast of Baja California, it is a colourful and exciting city that is also home to the largest production of wine in Mexico. Ships will dock at the Ensenada cruise port.

Top Things to Do in Ensenada:

  • visit a winery in the Guadalupe Valley
  • marvel at La Bufadora, the largest marine geyser in the world
  • shop on Avenida Lopez Mateos
  • snorkel around Todos Santos island

Take a dip in our sparkling freshwater pools and leave your everyday world behind. Unwind on a padded lounger and soak up the sun, catch up on reading, listen to music or dream of your next adventure on board or ashore. And what better way to relax and revitalize after a day exploring the world than a long soak in one of our whirling hot tubs. And don’t forget, there is always a server nearby to bring you a refreshing cocktail or favourite beverage.

Sydney - Fiji- Sydney 1 , VIC, Australia, Mar 2025
We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise and only have positive thoughts. All aspects of the journey before and during the cruise were great. Hannah was most helpful and recommend her professionalism as a travel consultant.

From booking the cruise to sailing the experience was magnificent and would love to stay longer. The vessel facilities, service, food and entertainment where first class. The staff friendliness and attention is wonderful to experience.
Global Journeys have done a fabulous job with my booking on our Princess Cruise to NZ   1 , ACT, Australia, Dec 2024
The service from Grace was exemplary as was the Royal Princess cruise. Our cabin was exactly what we wanted, just the best outlook.

Onboard and Relax 1 , New Zealand, Oct 2024
Thank you Sam for booking us on the cruise Auckland to Sydney, and quickly helping us with our queries. Embarking and disembarking is straightforward and pleasant! Beats any experience passengers are subjected to by airport staff and procedures. It was a thoroughly enjoyable 6 night cruise on the Royal Princess liner. Fantastic food and entertainment read more and a lovely gym. Could not fault the staff- friendly and helpful, professional and genuine. NB: The cabins had American power points. For people with NZ & AU electrical devices please consider packing an adaptor plug with usb ports. The cabin attendants will provide the loan of an adaptor plug but it won't have a usb port.
Great Cruise Through inside passage Alaska 1 , QLD, Australia, Apr 2024
Amazing scenery that you wouldn't see anywhere else in the world, towering snow-capped mountains, and huge glaciers absolutely wonderful would recommend it to everyone.
Perfect Royal Princess Sydney to Yokohama 3 , Nelson, New Zealand, Apr 2024
Our first-time cruising with Princess and we'll definitely return. The Royal Princess is not a Wow looking ship, but it's absence of waterfalls, ice-skating rinks, shopping malls and the like really suited our style of cruising. The staff were all exceptional! The entertainment was fabulous, the meals were delicious and our bed was extremely comfortable! read more The itinerary included quite a few at sea days (one stretch of 4 days and another of 5 days) however the entertainment was ramped up so you never felt bored. We enjoyed the ports-of-call and had a mix of ship-booked excursions and doing it alone. The ship's excursions were very pricey and the main comment we heard was that they weren't worth the money.
Our booking experience with Georgie at Global Journeys was faultless! She kept us readily informed and couldn't have been more helpful. An excellent service.
Last minute NZ cruise 3 , New South Wales, Australia, Jan 2024
Last minute decision for a cruise from Sydney. Having been well served by Global Journeys on our last NZ holiday and having cruised with Princess in Europe, it was an easy call. Hannah promptly provided a great quote for one of the last suites available and it was arranged in no time. Communication was excellent and everything went smoothly. Cruise read more and weather was great and we loved returning to NZ. We are now asking Hannah for a quote on an Uluru trip later in the year. I have recommended Global Journeys to our family and friends when they are looking for a reliable travel agency.
Princess Cruise and Georgie   5 , Cambodia, Australia, Jan 2024

Amazing 10 days cruise from Sydney to Auckland 0 , New Zealand, Dec 2023
Royal Princess is a really good ship, lot of entertainment options, good food variety and quality, and amazing places to visit, special mention to Doubtful sound and Milford Sound. The Medallion system (digital room key) and the Princess app makes a difference. Really enjoyable cruise.
