Cruise Health - Your Safety is a Priority for Princess CruisesIn response to current times Princess Cruises is adopting a safer way to cruise and travel. The situation for cruising is ever changing and details of protocols for each ship in the fleet will evolve with the return to cruising. In the meantime, here are a few of the measures Princess are...
Your comprehensive cruise fare includes onboard accommodation, ocean transportation, main meals on board, some non-alcoholic beverages and most entertainment.
Excluded are meals at some alternate dining venues, meals on hosted land tours unless noted otherwise, transfers and items of a personal nature such as, but not limited to, spa services, shore excursions, beverages and some snacks, photographs, gratuities and medical services. Other services may be available at the time you sail.
Guests must be at least 6 months of age at the time of embarkation and at least 12 months of age for trans-ocean crossings and remote itineraries, where there are more than 2 consecutive sea days.
On Sun Princess, Sea Princess and Majestic Princess cruises departing and returning to Australia, there needs to be at least one guest 18 years or older in each stateroom. However, to accommodate families cruising together, children may occupy a separate stateroom to their parent/legal guardian, providing one child is 16 years or over.
For cruises departing from an Australian port between 1 November and 7 January, any guest under 19 years of age on the day they board the cruise, must travel in the same stateroom as a responsible adult 19 years or older. In addition, from 8 January to 31 January, there is a limit on the number of guests under 19 years of age who can travel unaccompanied. Once the limit is reached, a responsible adult 19 years or older must travel in the same stateroom.
On all other Princess Cruises' ships, there needs to be at least one guest in each stateroom aged 21 years or older. In order to accommodate families cruising together, children may occupy a separate stateroom to their parent/legal guardian, providing one child is aged 16 or over.
Please note, Princess reserves the right to restrict the number of passengers between the ages of 6 months and 17 years aboard their vessels.
Several countries require special documentation for children travelling with only one parent or accompanied by an adult who is not a parent and these requirements can change without notice. Many foreign countries require a single parent or guardian to bring documented permission for the minor to travel abroad. It's your responsibility to ensure you have the proper documents for all of the countries you'll visit. Please verify requirements with the consulates of these countries prior to your cruise.
Children are welcome on all Princess Cruises ships, but facilities vary. Youth centres entertain ages 3 and up, offering dedicated spaces for kids. Age appropriate customised programs are hosted in The Treehouse (3-7 years), The Lodge (8-12 years), and The Beach House (13 – 17 years).
Children less than 3 years of age are welcome to use the Children Centre's facilities under the direct supervision of their parent/guardian. To attend the Children Centres without a parent/guardian, children need to be over 3 years of age and toilet trained. Use of the Children Centres requires daily registration and entry is on a first-come first-served basis as places are limited.
Pacific Princess does not have formally designated youth centres. However, whenever 20 or more minors aged 3 - 17 are travelling, a Youth Activities Coordinator will be onboard to schedule a variety of supervised activities.
If your child has special needs and/or medical requirements, please advise your Global Journeys Cruise Advisor at time of booking. You can also add accessibility and dietary requirements into your Cruise Personalizer. When registering for the Camp Discovery youth and teen programs, let the youth staff know of any medical, special needs and/or allergies, and Princess will make every effort to accommodate them. Please be advised that youth staff may not offer one-on-one supervision or administer medication.
Princess' team of experienced youth counsellors undergoes stringent background checks and must be recently certified in CPR and basic first aid. They've also undergone training focused on caring for children with special needs. In case of a true medical emergency, onboard medical staff are just a phone call away.
Princess offers group complimentary babysitting in Camp Discovery during the day, and for a small fee, also in the evening hours. On all ships, except Pacific Princess, group child minding for children 3-12 years is available between 10pm and 1am for a charge. Private in-cabin babysitting is not available on any Princess Cruises ship.
Absolutely. Discovery and Animal Planet tours are good places to start. Every excursion designates appropriate age ranges, as well as the level of activity to be expected. For most excursions, there is no minimum age for children as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guests under the age of 18 years cannot participate without a parent or guardian. A few operators may allow an unaccompanied minor on an excursion if a wavier is signed by the parent or guardian in the operator's presence. If you'd rather explore on your own, your children can stay on board at Camp Discovery, and utilise the complimentary Camp Discovery kid's programs.
With the Traditional Dining option you get the classic cruise experience, having dinner the same time each night, at an early, first or second seating, in Princess' upscale main dining rooms. You'll enjoy the same table with the same company and wait staff throughout your voyage.
Anytime Dining offers a flexible dining experience – just like a restaurant would – and gives you the freedom to dine with whomever you wish, at your convenience between 5:30 pm and 10 pm. Please note Anytime Dining is not available on Pacific Princess and is not available on Diamond Princess while in Japan.
Requests for preferences and changes are considered on a first-come first-served basis. It is not always possible to alter dining preferences or seating arrangements once they are reserved. Once on board and subject to availability, you may attempt to switch preferences with 24 hours' notice to the Maitre D'. Princess will do their best to accommodate your preference.
Princess Cruises is happy to meet your request for low-sodium, low-fat, low-sugar and vegetarian meals (restrictions apply). Visit your Cruise Personalizer to indicate your dietary preferences. In addition, kosher meals (frozen main meals only) may be available on request. Any other special diet requests must be authorised in advance by Princess Cruises. Please notify your Global Journeys Cruise Advisor at time of booking of any special diet, allergies or medical needs. Once onboard, please check with the Maitre D' to confirm your request.
Pregnant women are not allowed to sail if they are entering the 24th week of their pregnancy by the last day of the cruise. You are required to disembark the vessel by the start of the 24th week of pregnancy. All pregnant women are required to produce a physician's letter stating that mother and baby are in good health, fit to travel and the pregnancy is not high risk. The letter must also include the estimated date of delivery (EDD). Please ask your Cruiser Advisor for documentation requirements.
Princess Cruises makes every effort to accommodate guests with disabilities. There are wheelchair accessible staterooms on all Princess Cruises' ships. If you require a mobility device, you must provide your own. When bringing your own wheelchair, Princess highly recommends collapsible wheelchairs, as the width of the stateroom doors varies. Some Princess Cruises ships have areas that are not wheelchair accessible. Lift-equipped transportation options are limited so arrangements must be secured in advance.
Travellers with disabilities should check in with the onboard Shore Tour Office to ensure all pre-reserved tours can accommodate their needs. Not all port facilities are accessible for those using mobility devices. Ports of call may be accessed by a variety of methods including, but not limited to, a ramped gangway, series of steps or by tender, which is a small boat used to ferry guests ashore. In some cases, you may be able to access the tender; however, the shoreside facility may not be accessible. With guest safety and comfort in mind, the decision to permit or prohibit guests from going ashore will be made on each occasion by the ship's Captain, and the decision is final.
Princess crew are not specially trained personnel to assist guests with physical challenges, and it is recommended you be accompanied by someone who is physically able to assist you both on board and on shore if necessary. Please notify your Global Journeys Cruise Advisor of any wheelchair usage, mobility or special needs and/or requests at the time of booking.
If you have undergone any recent investigations or treatment for a significant medical condition, please bring a doctor's report and/or investigation results with you on your cruise. Please also notify your Global Journeys Cruise Advisor at the time of booking if you have a medical condition, take medication, are undergoing dialysis, or require oxygen supplementation during your sailing.
Passport requirements vary by destination and your citizenship. For international voyages (cruises that visit a foreign port), passports are required for all guests and must be valid for a minimum of six (6) months beyond the date of the cruise return. In addition, travel on Princess cruises will not revalidate an Australian or New Zealand re-entry visa.
For domestic voyages (cruises that do not visit a foreign port), a valid passport or government issued photo identification is required (Queensland 'Adult Proof of Age Card' will be accepted, however the older version of Queensland 'Card 18+' will not be accepted). For Australian domestic voyages, a current Medicare card can be used for guests under 18 years of age. For New Zealand domestic voyages, an original or certified copy of the child's birth certificate or a school pass with photo will be accepted for guests under 18 years of age.
Australian Medicare, New Zealand ACC and private health insurance will not cover you for any medical costs on board. All cruises (even cruises that do not visit foreign ports) require international travel insurance. It is strongly recommended that you organise your travel insurance at the time you pay your deposit.
Travel insurance is an essential part of your holiday plans. Be aware when organising your insurance, that uninsured travellers (or their families) and travellers without the appropriate level of cover, are held personally liable for cancellation, medical and associated costs incurred at any time whether before the cruise, on board or overseas.
Ensure you are covered for general medical expenses overseas, existing medical conditions, hospitalisation and medical evacuations. If you plan on participating in sports such as scuba diving or parasailing, ensure your policy covers these activities.
You are strongly advised to seek advice from either your doctor or an approved public health travel advisory service to identify any specific vaccination or health precautions required for each port of call. Australian public health authorities strongly recommend that all cruise ship passengers receive an influenza vaccination at least two weeks before the start of their cruise. It is important that you see your doctor 6-8 weeks prior to departure to discuss and plan all necessary travel vaccines, including the influenza vaccine.
There are many regulations that apply to differing nationalities visiting international countries. You should check with the relevant embassy or consulate about your visa requirements. As governmental travel requirements change periodically, you must check with the government authorities for all countries you will visit to determine or verify the requirements at the time of sailing. Please note that travel on your cruise will not revalidate an Australian re-entry visa. All visa requirements are your responsibility. Princess assumes no responsibility for advising guests of such requirements. More information can be found here.
Printing your boarding pass and luggage tags is fast and easy. Beginning 75 days prior to sailing, you can print your boarding pass and luggage tags once the booking is paid in full and Princess has been provided with all your guest immigration information and credit card registration. Simply login to your Cruise Personalizer to access and print this information.
Your Cruise Personalizer is an online account where you can fill out required voyage information such as your passport details and emergency contact information. You'll be able to view your booking information, personalise your trip by pre-reserving shore excursions or adding packages, and print travel-related documents including your Boarding Pass, Travel Summary and Luggage Tags.
You can book your shore excursions through your Cruise Personalizer from approximately 180 days before travel, and up to 5 days before you depart. A Shore Tours Office with a Shore Excursion Manager is also on board each ship, ready to assist you with your port and shore tour related questions and purchases.
Princess Cruises wants you to feel confident, when booking your Princess Cruises Shore Excursions, that you are getting the best price. Once you have purchased a Princess Shore Excursion, if you find that same shore excursion elsewhere at a lower price, you can receive 110% of the difference in price in the form of a non-refundable onboard credit. This currently applies to select voyages. The Best Price Guarantee is not available in Asia, Southeast Asia or Japan ports.
The guarantee applies to shore excursions advertised with pricing and publicly available. This is valid pre-cruise only and requests must be submitted at least 7 days prior to your sail date.
Allow at least 60 minutes between each excursion. All excursions depart from and return to the cruise ship pier. By scheduling in this manner, you will have sufficient time to take multiple excursions.
One very important feature of taking an excursion organised by Princess is that they closely monitor the departures and returns of all excursions. Therefore, Princess ships do not sail until all organised excursion transportation has returned, so you can be assured that you won't miss the ship.
Please keep in mind that when you make your own arrangements in port, or if you leave an organised excursion, Princess will no longer be aware of your whereabouts; so be sure to schedule yourself with ample time to return to the ship before it sails.
Pre-paying beverage packages offers a great way to save time at embarkation. From a bottle of wine to beer specials to Princess' all-inclusive* option that features cocktails, soft drinks and bottled water, there's a beverage package to quench every thirst. To take advantage of pre-payment, log in to Cruise Personalizer to pre-pay online.
* Please note: The All-Inclusive Beverage Package is available on Australia and New Zealand voyages of eight nights or longer. The All-Inclusive Beverage Package does not include bottles of wine; however, when purchased in the bars, dining rooms, or in stateroom, they will be available at a 40% discount from the menu price. Applicable to all bottles below $100 retail.
Yes, if you purchase a Princess airport-to-ship transfer you'll be met by a uniformed Princess representative at the embarkation port airport. From the airport, you'll be transferred to your ship or hotel. If you haven't purchased your air travel arrangements from Princess, please be sure to provide your independent flight arrangements on the Cruise Personalizer no later than 15 days prior to sailing or Princess cannot guarantee that transfers will be provided. If you require special assistance, be aware that lift-equipped transportation may not be available in your port of embarkation or disembarkation. Arrangements must be secured in advance to accommodate your needs.
For your cruise, Princess recommends no more than two (2) bags per person. Each bag can be no bigger than 140cm x 60cm x 40cm and cannot weigh more than 32kg. It is important to remember that airlines may have different luggage restrictions.
In addition to your personal identification tag, please attach a completed Princess Cruises luggage tag which has been included in your pre-cruise documents to each piece of luggage.
You should dress for a cruise with Princess the same way you would for any stylish land based resort. Casual sportswear, including shorts, lightweight pants and jogging suits, is the order of the day both at sea and ashore in hotter climates.
Princess recommends you bring a sweater, a jacket or an all-weather coat for cool evenings, and for shore excursions, depending on your destination. Be sure to bring appropriate clothing for visits to religious sites. You'll also want low-heeled, rubber soled shoes for strolling on deck, as well as comfortable walking shoes or sandals to wear when going ashore.
During the day, casual clothes are suitable. After 5.30pm, smart casual attire is required in the public lounges and restaurants or as published in the ship's newsletter. Guest attire should be in keeping with what they would wear to a nice restaurant at home. For example, skirts/dresses, slacks, and sweaters for ladies and suit pants with dinner jackets for men. Dinner wear such as pool or beach attire, shorts, ball caps and casual jeans (with fraying and/or holes) are not welcomed in the dining rooms. Shoes must be worn. On formal evenings, Princess suggest gentlemen wear a suit, or jacket and tie, and for ladies an evening or cocktail dress.
Princess Cruises has formal nights on cruises of more than four days. The number of formal nights will depend on the length of your cruise. Cruises up to 14 nights duration usually feature two or three formal nights, cruises up to 28 nights duration usually feature three or four formal nights, while longer cruises feature a minimum of five formal nights. Formal wear rentals are available and can be arranged prior to embarkation (not available on Sun Princess).
Cruises of seven nights or more usually also feature theme nights. Outfits are available for purchase onboard, or you are welcome to bring your own. Theme nights vary from cruise to cruise.
On the day of embarkation, guests are permitted to bring one 750ml bottle of wine or champagne onboard per voyage, which will not be subject to a corkage fee if consumed in your stateroom. Additional wine or champagne bottles are welcome, but will incur a $15 corkage fee each, irrespective of where they are intended to be consumed. Liquor, spirits, or beers are not permitted.
Any alcoholic beverages purchased duty free from the ship's gift shop, or at any port of call, will be collected at the gangway for safekeeping and will be delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the cruise.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday for all guests, items which may pose a risk to the safety of guests and crew are not allowed to be brought onboard Princess ships. Guests are fully responsible for either storing these items ashore or disposing of them prior to embarkation. A list of prohibited items can be found in your Passage Contract in your Cruise Personalizer.
The Princess Patter is your daily schedule of ship activities and entertainment events. It's also your guide to shipboard services with hours of operation. The Princess Patter is delivered nightly to your stateroom.
The age for gambling on Princess ships is 18 years old. The age for drinking on Princess ships is 21 years old. For cruises between Australia/New Zealand, China, Europe and Singapore ports, the drinking age will be 18 years old. For cruises between Japan ports, the drinking age will be 20 years old.
Clearly marked "Designated Smoking Areas" are available on board. Generally, these areas include cigar lounges, a section of the nightclub, as well as a portion of the open decks. The Casino and Casino Bar are non-smoking areas, with the exception of designated slot machines. The Casino will also have one or more non-smoking nights (6 pm to closing), depending on length of voyage. Show lounges, dining rooms and all food services areas on board all Princess ships are non-smoking, as are guest staterooms and balconies. The use of electronic cigarettes is allowed within the confines of the guest's stateroom (balcony not included) and within designated smoking areas only.
Princess offers onboard laundry, press-only and professional cleaning service for a nominal fee. Full suite guests and Elite Captain's Circle members also enjoy complimentary laundry and professional cleaning service, except for Presto (same day) service, which carries a charge. For your convenience, Princess vessels have self-service launderettes where washers, dryers and laundry products are available for a negligible charge. Please note that irons/ironing boards are available in the self-service laundry rooms.
Onboard charges are in United States Dollars (USD) except for guests on Australia sailings operated by Princess Australia, where all onboard charges are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
All prices onboard Sun Princess, Sea Princess, Diamond Princess, Majestic Princess, Ruby Princess and Golden Princess cruises departing from and returning to Australia and Majestic, Golden and Ruby Princess sailing one way Sydney to Auckland and vice versa and Majestic Princess repositioning voyages from Asia to Australia and vice versa are in Australian Dollars.
Prices onboard all other Princess Cruises ships including Princess cruises repositioning from USA to Australia (including sector on repositioning sailing Auckland to Sydney and vice versa), Regal Princess repositioning from Europe/Asia to Australia and Diamond Princess cruises departing from and returning to Japan are in US Dollars.
When you check in for your cruise, you'll receive a Cruise Card (a personal identification card). The Cruise Card is used to access your personal shipboard account to which all purchases are charged.
Upon check-in, for guests who have a credit card on file for their shipboard account, an authorisation hold is placed on the credit card to ensure validity of the account. While you are on board, your daily charges will be authorised at close of business each day with your card provider. At the end of your cruise, your onboard spend will be charged in one transaction, and the holds will then be released by your issuing bank. Please note, some banks hold pre-authorised funds for up to 30 days, limiting the funds available in your debit or credit account. It is strongly recommended you check your bank's pre-authorisation process if you have any concerns about this system.
An itemised statement will be delivered to your stateroom prior to disembarkation. By providing your credit card in advance, you are automatically registered for Express Check-Out. There is no need to visit the Guest Services/Purser's Desk to settle your account. Guests paying by traveller's cheques or cash will be required to leave a cash deposit with the Purser's staff at the beginning of the cruise.
Internet access is available on all Princess ships through their wireless network — available in all staterooms and public areas – and through the 24-hour onboard Internet Cafe. You can access Wi-Fi through wireless-enabled devices, such as laptops, tablets or mobile devices. Or use the computers in the Internet Café to access your web-based email account or browse the internet. Select ships have been upgraded with MedallionNet allowing guests to text, post photos, video chat and stream shows, movies, music and sports with ease.
Information regarding available plans can be viewed pre-cruise in the guest Cruise Personalizer, by connecting to the ship's Wi-Fi once on board, or by visiting the Digital Communications Manager on board. Platinum and Elite Captain's Circle members receive a specified number of internet minutes for free as a loyalty benefit and on ships with MedallionNet, they have a choice to redeem their free minutes, or receive a discount on an unlimited package.
Mobile phone reception is available on board all Princess ships. A compatible mobile phone and a service plan capable of roaming internationally with Maritime Communications Partners (AS) is required. Make sure you check with your service provider for applicable charges before you depart.
Princess@Sea is a free, mobile friendly tool to plan your day's events and activities, review the ship's itinerary and port guides, browse restaurant menus, and even access your stateroom account. Plus, the Princess@Sea Messenger allows you to send text messages to other guests onboard. Princess@Sea and Princess@Sea Messenger are now available on all ships.
Onboard medical centres are staffed by full-time registered doctors and nurses. In addition to twice daily office hours, they are available 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency. Onboard medical centres are primarily intended to provide acute care for illness and accidents that may occur while on holiday and are not intended to provide long term care for patients with chronic illnesses or as a substitute for regular health care.
Important: Charges for medical services will be added to your shipboard account and you will be provided with an itemised account to submit to your insurance company. All treatments are outside the scope of Australian Medicare, New Zealand 'ACC' or private health insurance and treatment is charged at private rates, including those incurred on Australian coastal cruises, therefore Princess strongly recommends you take out travel insurance. Verify with your insurer if your coverage applies outside Australia.
Tipping is not required or charged to your onboard account when sailing on a Princess ship that departs and returns to Australia and/or operates with Australian currency onboard. You are welcome to reward the onboard crew for exceptional service, however, tipping is not required.
For all other Princess itineraries and guests, tipping isn't required, however a gratuity will be automatically added to your onboard account and may be adjusted or removed at your discretion on board. This gratuity will be shared amongst those staff who help provide and support your cruise experience, including all waitstaff, stateroom stewards, buffet stewards, and housekeeping staff across the fleet. For your convenience, this gratuity can be pre-paid online via your Cruise Personalizer. An 18% gratuity is also added on board to bar charges and dining room wine accounts, as well as Lotus Spa services.
Please note gratuities will be deemed undisputed unless a request to modify is received prior to disembarking the ship.
Tipping is a discretionary matter. However, it is customary around the world, when guests are pleased with their excursion, to tip the guide.
Note your special occasions in your Cruise Personalizer, and Princess can prepare a festive welcome aboard note. You can also order celebration packages there, everything from fun gifts to unique experiences on board, even themed stateroom decorations. If the celebration is for one of your children, notify the Camp Discovery staff, and they'll be happy to collaborate with ideas.
Princess offers several Specialty Dining options for you to choose from on every ship. As these restaurants at sea are truly a special treat, a cover charge will apply per person. Reservations are suggested at these popular venues.
Guests can enjoy Ultimate Balcony Dining, featuring fresh lobster or steak, and other delicious delicacies, Champagne Breakfast and wait staff service, all on your own balcony. Treat yourself to this luxury morning or night. Service charge for Ultimate Balcony Dining is AUD125 per couple. Champagne Breakfast is AUD35 per couple.
Room service is available at any time of the day or night. To have continental breakfast delivered to your stateroom, just fill out the breakfast card (one is placed on your pillow each evening) and hang it out at night on your stateroom door. You'll also be provided with a full stateroom menu. There are complimentary options, however, a service charge applies to pizza orders.
Yes, ATM facilities are available on board all Princess ships.
Princess MedallionClass takes service to the next level with unique experiences that help you get more from your cruise holiday.
It all begins with your OceanMedallion, a coin-sized wearable device that enables everything from faster boarding to the ability to locate your loved ones around the ship. You can also order food, drinks (and more) and have this delivered wherever you are on the ship.
Please note, not all Princess ships are equipped with MedallionClass features.
Visit Cruise Personalizer first and provide mandatory immigration information as you would on any other cruise with Princess. Then visit the App Store or Google Play to download the MedallionClass app. Once you have downloaded the app, open and follow the instructions to create an Ocean Profile and get OceanReady.
No. You can get all of your travel companions OceanReady who are in your stateroom. However, to get the most out of your MedallionClass holiday, each guest should create their own OceanProfile. (FYI this is different from a Cruise Personalizer login).
Yes! You must have your required travel documents (e.g. passport) available when checking in at the terminal.
There are several features that you can enjoy before your cruise such as getting OceanReady for expedited boarding, creating your own customised itinerary with JourneyView which offers a look at shipboard activities happening on your voyage, and creating your OceanTagalong using PlayOcean.
Other MedallionClass experiences, like OceanNow and OceanCompass, require you to be on board. Be sure to connect to the ship's free MedallionNet Wi-Fi once onboard to enable the onboard experiences such as on-demand delivery services. NOTE: MedallionNet internet packages which allow you to stay connected to home are available for purchase on Cruise Personalizer.
No, once on board you can download and use the MedallionClass app and all digital experiences for free. But to make it easier, you may want to download the app prior to boarding.
No, your Medallion doesn't store any personal information, so no need to worry if you lose it.
Yes, the Medallion is waterproof, as well as heat, sand and salt resistant.
Absolutely. You can choose from a variety of accessories, such as sports bands, clips, pendants and bracelets. Order them for yourself and your travel party through the OceanReady section of the MedallionClass app, or purchase them on board at OceanFront.
All guests can enjoy the expedited arrival benefits of getting OceanReady before embarkation. Medallions will be waiting at the port for guests living outside the U.S. Home shipping is available for U.S. residents.
Not at all, and you can still get OceanReady to make the embarkation process effortless when you arrive at the terminal. Follow the steps on the MedallionClass app to get OceanReady (without shipping to your home). And when you arrive at the terminal, just show your OceanReady Pass on your mobile device to enjoy a more expedited boarding.
Guests who do not want to take advantage of the full MedallionClass experience can exchange their Medallion for an RFID-enabled Cruise Card that gives them access to their stateroom and payments.
A phone or mobile device is not necessary for MedallionClass experiences. Most digital features of the apps are also available from touchscreen portals found throughout the ship as well as on your stateroom TV.
If a guest notifies the crew of a lost Medallion, it will be disabled and replaced at no cost. For security of purchase transactions, each Medallion is associated with a guest profile that contains their onboard security photo. If that photo does not match a guest during a purchase, the transaction will not be authorised.
The Medallion contains no personal information but transmits an encrypted guest I.D. to the Ocean guest experience platform. That network exceeds all cruise industry security standards and uses a combination of anonymisation and encryption to keep data stored there secure.
Just be sure to keep it with you at all times. In addition to unlocking a world of unique experiences, it also unlocks your stateroom door, and is used to make purchases on board.
Captain's Circle benefits depend on your tier of membership and may include (but not limited to) discounted cruise fares, invites to member only onboard events, priority check-in, complimentary internet packages, complimentary laundry and upgraded bathroom amenities.
You will be eligible to be a Captain's Circle Gold Member after your first completed cruise. Towards the end of your cruise, your New Member Pack will be delivered to your stateroom. This contains all the essential details you'll need, including your new Member Number. You will qualify for higher tiers of membership once the required subsequent cruises/cruise days have been completed.
Those sharing your stateroom are welcomed to join you in the Disembarkation lounge. There is limited space in the lounge and we ask that you do not bring more than 3 others in your group. If you would prefer to all stay together, you are welcomed to join them in their designated lounges.
