Once you've arrived, we'll take you to your hotel where you can settle in. Stay Two Nights: Toronto, Fairmont Royal York

Mingle over a welcome breakfast before setting off on a discovery of the city, including a visit to the CN Tower. (B/D)

Stop in at Niagara-on-the-Lake, and then head for Niagara Falls. Maybe set off on a helicopter flight (own expense) before cruising to the base of the falls. Stay: Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview, in a Fallsview Room (B/D)

Signature Experiences:
  • At dinner, overlook the spectacle before an exclusive visit to the Illumination Tower where you can project your very own light display on the falls.

Today, travel along the Thousand Islands Parkway, stopping to cruise through the beautiful Thousand Islands. By the late afternoon you'll arrive in Ottawa, where dinner has been arranged this evening. Stay Two Nights: Ottawa, Fairmont Chateau Laurier (B/D)

Start off your day with a guided tour, pausing at Parliament Hill among other sites. Afterwards, choose what you want to do. (B)

  • Maybe a flight in a vintage open-cockpit biplane is your style? Or would you prefer to visit the Canadian War Museum? Maybe you'll spend time at the Canadian Museum of History, or set off on a guided bicycle exploration.

Today you're on high alert for deer and black bears at Parc Omega. Continue to Mont Tremblant for a gondola ride. Stay: Mont Tremblant, Fairmont Tremblant (B)

Today, head for Ile d'Orleans. Nicknamed the ‘Garden of Quebec', this sleepy island is a food lover's paradise. Continue to Quebec City and set out on a guided tour. Stay Two Nights: Quebec City, Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac in a Deluxe ‘Old Québec' View Room (B/L)

Travel through the iconic Canadian Rockies along the Icefields Parkway. With a morning at leisure to discover Ketchikan at your own pace, you might like to visit historic Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum or the Southeast Alaska Discovery Centre. This morning, choose from the sightseeing activities on offer. A free afternoon gives you the chance to explore Sitka at your leisure. Perhaps discover the town's historic Russian buildings which have been maintained as miniature museums, learn more about Sitka's history at the Sheldon Jackson Museum, or visit the Southeast Indian Cultural Centre (own expense).   • Cruise through the incredible Tracy Arm Wilderness Area, home to deep fjords and sheer granite cliffs. Your boat will get as close as possible to the ever-changing Twin Sawyer Glaciers, which cannot be accessed by larger ships.

  • You might choose to head out on a seaplane excursion to the Juneau Icefield, including an Alaskan salmon feast at the remote Taku Glacier Lodge. Another option is a helicopter ride over the Juneau Icefield and Herbert Glacier, home to spectacular rock formations and icefalls.
