It seemed that every town had a hidden secret. Leonardo lived here, Joan of Arc died there, Jules Verne wrote and lived here. A lovely visit to a private chateau for lunch, surprising revelations on the Normandy beaches, explanations from a great Tour Director. A very enjoyable tour.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food offered. The pace of the holiday was right on and the places we visited were sot on what we wanted. A great holiday.

Loved this trip. It was an excellent mix of battle sites, scenic sights and historical experiences plus visits to beautiful chateaus. It contained enough to interest both males and females. I would recommend this trip to everyone. The countryside was a delight to view. The coach was comfortable and provided free Wi-Fi. What more could you ask for.

We loved this tour, everything was excellent! The tour director was fantastic, the food was amazing and we loved meeting lots of new people on the bus trip.

We really enjoyed the tour and the places that we visited. I thought the the pace was slightly hectic and would have enjoyed a more leisurely pace. This was particularly so on the last day of of tour when we rushed though the Sacre Couere, then very quickly walked in Montmarre, the farewell dinner and cruise on the seine. While it is good to say that ...read more all these activities were done, they were much rushed and we did not get time to appreciate the sites or activities. Perhaps less activities and more time to enjoy them. However overall made friends and was a lovely 7 days of touring.
