European Traveller 9 days with Trafalgar   1 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2018
This was our first holiday. It gave us a good introduction to Europe and places where we may go to again. It was especially good to miss the queue. It was great to chat to others on the tour. Howard the tour director was excellent.
Trip quite tiring 0 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2015
I found this trip quite tiring as many early starts due to crowds. I think that the travel director oversold the optional extras and they were very expensive (> $800 AUD) in proportion to the base cost. The trip was marred by the crowds, high temperatures and the high cost of everything particularly in Paris and Rome and Venice. I would never go ...read more in high season again. I'm not sure what Trafalgar could do to solve these problems?
A great trip 0 , Australia, May 2014
This trip is designed to give one a taste of what is out there. Go, go, go. Tour director, Jelle, was excellent and coach driver, Carlo was good hearted, very obliging and very friendly. Accommodation was good but Europeans love hard beds, so be prepared for that. The Louvre in Paris was a disappointment as it has been very modernised, but at least ...read more one can say they have been there. Eiffel tower was great, awesome views of Paris, even from level 2. Some of the local guides were non-stop talkers and got a bit annoying after a while. Overall, a great trip.
Would definitely choose to book again through Global Journeys 1 , Australia, Apr 2013
My tour consultant Hannah was extremely helpful and always provided very timely responses to my queries. Hannah was extremely helpful in suggesting a solution when I had advised I had booked my tour but on the incorrect flights/itinerary (very silly of me!). My 8 day tour from London to Rome was amazing. Our tour guide was amazing, his knowledge, professionalism ...read more and genuine care for the groups experiences was second to none. He spoke 5 languages which was a bonus and it definitely was an asset in resolving any issues experienced by the group. The Tour guide was able to manage 40 of us with ease....no-one got lost, and if they were late, he would bend over backwards to make sure they weren't lost. On our final day, we received the most amazing and thoughtful gift from our Tour guide, not chocolates, or a travel voucher etc....but an amazing limited edition souvenir from the Vatican. During the tour we had other local guides join us, they were equally as enthusiastic about there job and oozed a pure passion for their home city. Would definitely choose to book a tour again through Global Journeys. Thank you!
Hit all the highlights to give you a taste for a bit more 0 , Australia, Aug 2012
It was very good. Hit all the highlights to give you a taste for a bit more. It needs 1 more day to allow for some time in Lucerne and commute to Venice. In general the accommodation was good, a bit poor in Florence where I could barely get into the shower. The bathroom was so small.
