The best way for us to see as much of the UK and Ireland as possible. After doing 6 days of self drive and trying to find parking in many small English towns we appreciate the convenience of being dropped off then picked up later. Also we know that we saw and gained a lot more information about places and general information than we did whilst self ...read more driving. Both the tour guide and driver were excellent. Eddie (tour guide) was phenomenal with his knowledge and passion. He always had an anecdote or factual info to share with the group. Slawek our driver was amazing. His expertise ensured all felt comfortable and safe, even when driving down tiny country lanes and having to negotiate past other traffic. His parking and reversing skills showed perfect precision. A wonderful holiday shared with a fantastic group of fellow travellers. Thanks Georgie for all your help, we probably didn't utilize you as much as we could have but if we are lucky enough to travel in the future will remember you and Global Journeys and get in touch. Plenty of photos and memories.

It would have been nice to have a later start on our two night stays. Hotels were very good. Everyone got on very well, it was a large group of 51 on the tour. My tour consultants were all great apart from one small thing. ...read more Trafalgar in London didn't know about the change in my flight schedule when I arrived. They were waiting for me at 5.40am, instead of 1.40pm. I had a great trip though and I will be booking with Global Journeys next year.

The whole Trafalgar tour was fantastic I would have to say the tour sites we went to each day were great our accommodation was excellent throughout the tour probably our first night and second night at Plymouth was the only hotel that was of a poor standard old fashioned furniture, carpets badly worn etc. All the rest of the hotels were of very high ...read more standard. Our Trafalgar tour guide John Barleyman & driver Paul Jacques were the best, John always organised and in control of what was itinerary for each day was also had little secret locations to take us to nothing was too much trouble for him when asked to help us with a problem. John was very informative about our next site we going to visit and would always know the history of the place before we got there. Paul was a fantastic driver very quiet but also very polite but never missed a beat always new exactly where he was going at all times never had to be given directions and a very safe driver. Every morning when we came to get on the coach he was ready with all luggage already packed. As for our travel group they were all very nice not a nasty person amongst them we all got on very well all in 50 to 60's age group. The 20 days went very quickly we would do it again, lots of memories. My first contact was with Global Journeys and I was most impressed by your staff member Yvonne who helped with my many questions on many occasions no matter what I was asking she calmly helped me and her advice on the before and after accommodation especially was very helpful.

He had ...read more very detailed knowledge about the history of the United Kingdom and was constantly ensuring all his clients were comfortable and he went well beyond his normal duties as a Tour Director. Paul, our bus driver was also fantastic, he had a brilliant sense of humour and was always more than happy to help and offer advice. He was also a wonderful driver and we all felt very safe and secure with Paul behind the wheel. This is the first time I have travelled with Trafalgar and I now plan to make this the only traveling company for future holidays. In fact, I have already been to your website planning my next holiday in a few months. Words cannot describe how happy I am with Trafalgar, from the staff, to the selection of the hotel and the meals, to the itinerary which was perfectly researched and executed. Along with the 'hidden treasures' and the simple ease of traveling, I could not have asked for a better holiday, they were simply impeccable.
