Perfect weather and blue skies made the most of our views of the Alps. We were concerned about the heights involved in the excursions but felt safe throughout the trip. The Movenpick Zurich Airport hotel to start the tour was a great place to stay with a convenient free transfer to/from the airport. Our tour guide Yanya and driver Franco were tops. The quality of the hotels throughout was better than I had expected.

Highlight? Matterhorn with beautiful weather was unbeatable, we all enjoyed every second up there. ...read more You did need to buy the excursions to get the best out of the tour, otherwise you were left in places where there was not much to do or see. Meals were generally good too.

We were 31 on the coach with a mix of counties - 8 Aus, 2 NZ and the rest split between USA & Canada. Can't stress enough, you need a reasonable level of fitness, 1 person in a wheel chair and some could barely make it onto the coach, but the driver and tour guide seemed to take it in their stride.

My second journey booked with Global Journeys and very good again. Our Globus tour driver and tour director were very competent. First time I have been in a full coach & one cannot have time with everybody but overall not a bad mix, mostly Americans.
