The Information Session was very laid-back. It was conducted in the hotel foyer which was cramped and didn't provide adequate seating. Local guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Meals on optional excursions were not worth the price.

Tour was great, easy paced. included meals exceptional as were majority of optional meals, Hotels were first rate, clean and comfortable, in central locations. Transfer arranged were on time and professional. Definitely choose a Globus trip again. Wonderful sights and scenery. Booking was managed well with Jemma at Global journeys

First time travelling with Globus. Everything was organised well and spot on. The Tour Director, Giuseppe, was very knowledgeable and patient and kept a close eye on all of us in the tour group. The entire trip went very smoothly and is good value for money. Food was a culinary delight. Definitely a trip to remember.

When I arrived in Milan for extra night prior to tour there was a bit of a fuss made at desk as they said I wasn't booked in for final night of the tour. In the package I received I was informed that the initial get to know you meeting with the tour director and group was at 6pm. When I arrived in hotel lobby it was over and everyone was heading out ...read more the door for the welcome dinner - I had missed all introductions and information and had to rush up to room and grab coat etc to go out with group. Only one hotel was below par - a Travel Inn in Lucca. Milan hotel was new but no facilities e.g. coffee shop. When I arrived mid afternoon nowhere to get a coffee or lunch without a long walk as hotel in middle of business district and very formal restaurant open late in evening. Only excursion that was really tiresome for most people was extremely long visit to Ferrari museum - half an hour or even an hour would have been enough. Other than that a very enjoyable tour with good food and good company. Very pleasant tour director but not much in way of local information.

Our tour guide Elizabetta was wonderful, always there to help and nothing was too much trouble for her. Wonderful lady and a good sense of humour. Our tour was everything I had hoped for and more. All the included excursions and the extra excursions were great but I was a little surprised by the last extra of going to the Egyptian Museum. I was in Italy ...read more and had no desire to go to the museum and nobody on our tour went either. We did not go on the Genoa excursion and those who did said it was far to long. Overall it was a wonderful tour and look forward to seeing more of Italy. The WiFi on the coach worked only a little bit better than our previous (Tour Code: ZC) tour.

The coach was very old and the air conditioning was so noisy at the back that it was very hard to hear the Tour Director. The seats were uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed the tour, our tour director was excellent, very knowledgeable and witty. Our tour inclusions and optional extras were very interesting, the coach was comfortable and travelling companions very friendly. The hotel stays were comfortable and our luggage was handled efficiently between hotel stops. Great trip.

Booking by Global Journeys was expedited very efficiently. Globus tours proved to be very well organised and we had an excellent tour guide. Millie was Knowledgable, friendly and an extremely capable organiser. We would not hesitate to use both Global Journeys and Globus Tours again. Thank you.

Excellent tour. Got right off the beaten track, but also saw all the main attractions like the Cinque Terra. The optional excursion to Lake Maggiore is highly recommended. Global Journeys, and in particular, Michelle, were spot on with the booking and arrangements and would not hesitate to use their services again.

Tour guide was excellent, her experience was evident. The coach driver was also very experienced and most helpful. I would certainly recommend this tour.

Overall very enjoyable, guide Elena was great, food related visits and optional excursions/meals very good and we had a feeling of engaging with Italy and Italians more meaningfully than in tours that are about famous places and monuments. Only negatives for me were ...read more the appalling quality welcome dinner at the NH Touring Hotel which was a very bad way to start the tour; espresso/cappucino should have been standard at all breakfasts (this is Italy) rather than the undrinkable stewed American style coffee served in several hotels; and our excellent, helpful and friendly driver drove too fast and overtook aggressively on some ocasions. Happy to travel with Globus again and to book with Global Journeys thanks to Yvonne.

The Northern Italy and Cinque Terre regional tour was fantastic. If you have a passion for good quality Italian food and an interest in learning the process of how these fine foods are made this tour is a must!! My tour guide was very organised and knowledgeable and always looked out for the group and our bus driver was a gentleman. Truly an unforgettable journey :)
