Fantastic and relaxing tour that covers lots 3 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2018
This tour exceeded my expectations, plenty of time to stop in places, never felt rushed like other tours, and stopped in little towns most times for lunch instead of auto grills. Would thoroughly recommend this tour. Spain is a lovely place. Food is fantastic. (Ed. This trip has changed this season, so this review refers to a slightly different it ...read moreinerary.)
Excellent Value In-Depth Tour of Spain   8 , NSW, Australia, May 2018
My last three European holidays were with more expensive tour operators, so was wondering how I would find Cosmos after a period of ten years since my last Cosmos tour. EXCELLENT!! The Tour Guide, Billie, was outstanding, and the coach driver, Angel, second to none. Hotels (several of which were 4-star) were very good, with five out of the eight being ...read more near the city centres. Those in Madrid & Barcelona were a little further out, but close to convenient bus routes. Personally, I don't find this a problem as I like to get a glimpse of life beyond the main tourist centres.

Some of the highlights were Cuenca, Café Iruna in Pamplona, the gardens of the Alhambra Complex in Granada, unbelievable cathedrals in all major cities and towns, and the enormous extent of the olive groves. Optional tours to Montserrat and Toledo were very worthwhile. Also enjoyed the Flamenco Show in Seville. If I had to find a negative, it might be that a couple of the meals were just average, and breakfast in one hotel was quite basic.

I travelled during the last three weeks of May and the weather was very pleasant - sunny with temperatures in the low to mid-twenties and only one day of rain. The service provided by Hannah at Global Journeys was as helpful and efficient as it has been in the past. (Ed. Wonderful holiday in Spain 2 , New Zealand, May 2018
Great value for money. Cosmos tour Director (Billy) was helpful, well organised, had extensive knowledge of the areas we visited and was always cheerful even after some long days. Hotels were clean and comfortable in great locations. The few located outside of city had bus stop close by hassle free to use. May was great time to visit Spain, not overly ...read more hot and little rain. I feel tour gave us a good overall look at Spain.

We had a wonderful group, wide age group and everyone mixed well. No-one caused delays by being late. I found booking online with Global Journeys great and will certainly use them again. Overall a worry free holiday! (Ed. This trip has changed this season, so this review refers to a slightly different itinerary.)
Spain in 14 days 3 , WA, Australia, Sep 2017
Our trip around Spain was wonderful - more enjoyable than expected. Our tour guide with Cosmos was outstanding. He was especially helpful in giving us a knowledge of customs, food and culture for each of the areas visited and ensured we knew where to find the extra sights. There was adequate time in each of the towns visited - aware there was much ...read more more to see but only so much fits into 14 days. With such hospitality we'd love to come back. The service from Global Journeys was also excellent and we were given prompt notice when one of the accommodating hotels was altered. (Ed. What a fantastic tour. 1 , WA, Australia, Jul 2017
What a fantastic tour, a wonderful country to visit. The optional excursions were incredible & well worth the extra costs. This was our 4th Cosmos tour & certainly won't be our last. From go to wo - from booking with
Yvonne at Global Journeys to the end of our journey - the trip was faultless.
A great trip to Spain 0 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2016
Our Cosmos tour of Spain was a great experience. We enjoyed the culture and the history of the country. Visiting locations of historical event we learned about in school was great. While in Pamplona we saw the parade of Giants which was a celebration of the formation of the town, an experience not able to be planned for. The local guides throughout ...read more our trip were knowledgeable and entertaining. Our Cosmos tour director was always friendly, helpful and quietly efficient. A memorable and enjoyable experience 1 , Qld, Australia, Aug 2016
The bus was new with seat belts and had a good quality Wi-Fi that enhanced the trip. The hotels were also good with only one hotel with low grade Wi-Fi that faded in and out. The Tour Manager and Driver were very professional, positive. pleasant and made every effort to enhance our experience The Tour Guides were the same. All were entertaining. Spectacular spain 1 , QLD, Australia, May 2016
Another great tour with Cosmos. The guide, food and all our accommodation was excellent. The highlight was the flamenco show in Seville an amazing performance of such energy and colour. Visiting Spain with Cosmos was a great experience 0 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2015
Had a wonderful tour director, Ruben. Visiting Spain with Cosmos was a great experience, we were well looked after and saw some great sights. We stayed in some great locations and were impressed by some of the inclusions and extras. The only negative some of the evening hotel meals were average. (Ed. Tour far exceeded our expectations 0 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2015
Negatives. Tour of Seville should be included rather than optional. The Porta Fira hotel in Barcelona was too far out from the city of Barcelona. (The location was dead!) Good maps of the cities were not always provided by the hotels. Positives. The tour far exceeded our expectations. He was exceptional in looking after the needs of each person on the tour and his commentaries were entertaining, informative and gave us a real insight into both the history and contemporary lifestyle of the Spanish people. Thoroughly enjoyed our journey through Spain 0 , WA, Australia, Jun 2015
We both thoroughly enjoyed our journey through Spain. For those who are looking for art, architecture and culture 0 , Australia, Jul 2014
This is a tour for those who are looking for art, architecture and a cultural experience. In the art area there were several galleries on the tour that were hosting international accredited Spanish artists that were not mentioned, and only found by our enquiries at the towns. The Grand Tour Of Spain was a great experience 0 , Australia, May 2012
Jaao, our Tour Director was excellent, young and a very interesting person . We became close friends . Re the itinerary my only criticism would be that we had insufficient time in Barcelona, the included city tour was poor; i.e. we drove past the Gaudi houses at traffic speed, too fast to even take a proper photo. At least one more full day is required ...read more so a full day tour can be taken . One guy on the tour did this, by not doing the city tour and the option to Montserrat.(which we did ). The 4 of us did all the optionals, they were all good. The dinner in Seville was a highlight, as was the optional sightseeing tour. The optional tour to Toledo was also very good. The Flamenco evening in Barcelona was also a highlight. The accommodation was of a very good standard, however it would be better if they were closer to the city centres, particularly in Madrid and Barcelona, (however, the hotel in Barcelona was fabulous) I think our favorite city was Valencia, and having a full day on our own to look around was perfect. This is what is needed in Barcelona; even if it means adding a day to the tour. I hope that my comments may prove useful. In closing, Jaoa the Tour Director was great, and deserves a bonus! (Ed. Our guide was absolutely fabulous 0 , Australia, Sep 2011
Well organized tour of Spain. Our guide Enrique Longo was absolutely fabulous. Potted Spanish history with a New York twist! Hotels were good, some extras not up to standard. Overall good. (Ed. This trip has changed this season, so this review refers to a slightly different itinerary.)
